DLF Phase 2 is one stop from Sikanderpur on the Rapid Metro loop that runs through DLF Cyber City, with its own DLF Phase 2 station. With Cyber City's office towers that close, many moves here are driven by work. There is a joining date, a relocation allowance and an HR team that wants papers in a set format. We plan backwards from the day you start, and give you a written quote you can send to your employer before the move is approved.

On the sector map, DLF Phase 2 is Sector 25. DLF describes its own DLF Square office tower as standing in DLF Phase 2, Sector 25, on NH-48, right beside Cyber City and Cyber Hub. That closeness cuts both ways for a mover: your new desk may be a short walk away, but the truck shares the roads with office traffic. The monsoon is the other thing to plan for. After a heavy spell in July 2026, The Tribune named DLF Phases 1 to 5 among the city's worst waterlogging spots, so on a rainy week we wrap cartons in plastic and keep a spare hour in the plan.

What changes when a move starts or ends beside a busy office district.

  1. Office-hour traffic

    Roads around Cyber City and NH-48 fill up when offices open and close on weekdays. We aim to load and leave outside those hours so the truck is not stuck in the queue.

  2. An invoice your claim accepts

Which Stations and Roads Around DLF Phase 2 Help on Moving Day?

Give us these names when you book, and use them when you tell family or a new employer where to meet the truck.

  1. Belvedere Towers station

    On the Rapid Metro loop, Belvedere Towers sits between the DLF Phase 2 and Cyber City stops and opened on 14 November 2013. It carried Vodafone's name until early 2019, so older directions may still call it by that brand.

  2. Akashneem, Jacaranda and Dakshin Marg

    These named roads run through Phase II. In June 2026 The Tribune reported that the unauthorised hotels and guest houses on the town planners' violation list stood particularly along these three margs. Give the crew your marg as well as the plot number, so the driver turns into the right road the first time.

  3. Cyber City–MG Road flyover

    Wikipedia records that a flyover between Cyber City and MG Road opened in 2015. For a truck leaving Phase 2 for MG Road or South Delhi, it is the link we weigh against the NH-48 side, depending on the hour and the weather.

  4. DLF Cyber City on the approved Old Gurugram metro

    On 1 October 2026 The Tribune reported approval of a 15.3 km metro corridor from Sector 9 that ends at DLF Cyber City, with a stop at Udyog Vihar Phase 1. No construction timeline has been set, so it changes nothing on moving day yet, but it matters if you are weighing a flat here against one along that line.

Homes we move

Plotted Houses, Rebuilt Floors and Guest Houses in Sector 25

Sector 25 is inside the plotted colony covered by DLF's floor allotment form, and a plot rebuilt under it carries four separate floors over a basement and stilt parking, with a lift among the common areas. A family on one of those floors shares the lift and the stair with three other households, while an older house next door may still be one family on every level. We ask which you live in, because it decides whether the day runs on a lift slot agreed with neighbours or on clearing a whole house.

Not every plot here is a home. The town planners have flagged about 4,500 properties across DLF Phases I to V for building and zoning breaches, and the list reported by The Tribune on 29 June 2026 counted hotels and guest houses among the uses in Phase II. A rented floor can share its lane with a business that has its own vehicles at the gate.

What to Settle Before a Phase 2 Moving Day

  • The stilt stays clear

    DLF's allotment form lists the stilt driveway and the services at stilt level among the shared areas, and parking bays are allotted by number. Cartons therefore wait inside your flat, not in the stilt, until the vehicle is at the gate, and no neighbour's car is boxed in.

  • A lift slot with the other floors

    On a rebuilt plot where four floors share one lift, agree the loading hours with the other households the day before and send us the slot. We pack so that the lift is busy for as short a time as possible.

  • Ask about notices if you rent

    Before you sign a lease here, or give notice on one, ask the owner whether the building has a town planning notice against it. Sealing can come quickly: in June 2026 the drive in neighbouring Phase 3 was paused for a week so that displaced tenants could find new homes (The Tribune).

When to move

When Is a Good Time to Move in DLF Phase 2?

A heavy weekday shower can shut the obvious way out. On 24 August 2026 Gurugram had 70 mm of rain by 1.30 pm, and DD India reported that a large section of the Delhi–Gurugram Expressway near Cyber Hub was under water. From July to early September we keep the MG Road side as a fallback and leave a spare afternoon in the plan.

The heat peaks before the rain. NewsX reported 44.1°C at Cyber City on 19 May 2026, the highest of the Gurugram readings it gave that day. If your joining date falls in May or June, we load in the early morning, which spares the crew and the electronics in the van; a start date between October and March avoids both the heat and the flooding.
