Hyderabad moves come in two very different shapes. In the west, around HITEC City, Gachibowli and Kondapur, homes sit in gated communities with guards, rules and lift bookings. In the Old City, homes are older, lanes are tight, and a family may be packing up decades of belongings.

The Outer Ring Road ties it all together. For an outbound move, the truck can join the ORR near Gachibowli and head for Bengaluru, Pune or Delhi without touching the city centre. For a local shift, say Kukatpally to Kokapet, we plan around the IT-corridor rush hours.

Finding your way

Hyderabad Landmarks We Use to Plan a Move

Roads and places that decide the route, the timing and the size of the vehicle.

  1. Outer Ring Road

    The eight-lane ring expressway around the city, with interchanges near Gachibowli, Kokapet and Shamshabad and links to NH 44, NH 65 and the other highways out of Hyderabad. Outbound trucks join it to skip city traffic.

  2. PVNR Expressway

    The long elevated road from Mehdipatnam to Aramghar and the airport side. It is a handy reference for addresses near Attapur, but goods vehicles are not allowed on it, so the truck runs on the road below.

  3. HITEC City and Cyber Towers

    The centre of the IT district in Madhapur. Weekday office hours bring heavy traffic, so we avoid loading here at those times.

  4. Hussain Sagar and Tank Bund

    The lake between Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Moves between the two often pass around it, and roads near it are closed or diverted during Ganesh immersion.

  5. Secunderabad Cantonment

    Some roads inside the cantonment have had closures or heavy-vehicle limits. If you live in or near it, tell us, so we can check the approach before the day.

  6. Charminar

    The heart of the Old City. Lanes around it are narrow and crowded, so we may use a smaller vehicle to shuttle goods to a larger truck on the main road.

Homes we move

Hyderabad Homes: Villas, High-Rises and Old City Houses

Gated villa communities around Gachibowli, Kokapet and Kondapur hold much more than a flat: a big dining set, garden furniture, sometimes a home gym. We can pack a villa over two days, room by room, so the house keeps working until the last evening.

High-rise towers need a booked service lift and a slot at the gate. In many communities, security checks a signed move-out approval before the truck may leave, so get that approval early, not on the morning of the move.

In the Old City and older parts of Secunderabad, homes may have steep stairs and lanes too tight for a large truck. We plan a small vehicle for the lane and a big one on the main road. Heavy brass, carved wood and glassware get extra padding and their own labelled cartons.

What Permissions and Roads Matter for a Hyderabad Move?

  • Community approval

    Most gated communities want notice and a signed move-out form before goods leave. Ask the association office what it needs.

  • Goods vehicle hours

    Heavy vehicles have restricted hours on many city roads. We pick the vehicle and the timing to suit your route.

  • Cantonment roads

    Some roads through Secunderabad Cantonment limit heavy vehicles. We check the approach if your home is nearby.

  • Bringing a car

    Cars from other states may need re-registration in Telangana; check the current rules with the transport department. We move the car itself on a covered carrier.

When to move

When Is the Best Time to Shift House in Hyderabad?

November to February is the pleasant stretch. Days are dry and warm, nights are cool, and loading goes quickly. December and January are the coolest months.

April to early June is very hot, and May is usually the hottest month. We load early in the morning and suggest you carry plants, medicines and anything that can warp or melt in your own car.

The monsoon brings heavy rain from June into October, and a single downpour can flood low roads and underpasses within an hour. If rain is forecast, we cover the load well and allow extra time. Check the festival calendar too: Bonalu and Ganesh immersion bring road closures in parts of the city.
