A local shift is over in a day. An intercity move puts your goods on the highway for days, through heat, dust and a great deal of braking and bumping. So we pack for the road, not just for the lift ride down.
- Heavier packing than a local move. Boxes and special cartons for everyday goods, metal or wooden drums for heavy and odd-shaped pieces, and pallets with insert plates so loads cannot slide in transit.
- Labels that name the destination. Every carton carries a number, your name and the city it is going to, so it cannot be mixed up with another family’s goods.
- Trained loaders and drivers. Packing and loading technicians put heavy pieces in first and secure the load; trained drivers take it the distance.
- A count at both ends. Because every carton is numbered, you can tick them off as they come off the truck.
- Prompt unpacking. On arrival the crew unloads, places furniture room by room and unpacks if you want it.
