Jaipur moves tend to fall into two kinds. Inside the Walled City, on the World Heritage list since 2019, homes sit on bazaar lanes where a full-size truck cannot turn, so we load a smaller vehicle at the door and transfer the goods to the main truck on a wider road. Out in Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar or Jagatpura, the houses are newer and the roads are wide, and the real work is careful packing and good timing.

Many Jaipur customers are moving to or from Delhi NCR. Since we are headquartered in Gurgaon, about 240 km away by road, both ends of the move are planned from one desk: the survey, the packing, the drive across the Rajasthan–Haryana border and the unloading at your new address.

Which Jaipur Roads and Landmarks Do Our Crews Plan Around?

Mention the nearest one when you describe your address. It tells us which way the truck should come in and go out.

  1. NH-48 to Gurgaon and Delhi

    The main highway between Jaipur and NCR, running past Shahpura, Behror and Neemrana. Most moves from Jaipur to Gurgaon or Delhi use it, and it crosses from Rajasthan into Haryana near Shahjahanpur.

  2. Jaipur Ring Road

    Built by the Jaipur Development Authority to take traffic off city roads, the ring road on the city's southern edge joins Ajmer Road, Tonk Road and Agra Road. A truck leaving Mansarovar or Jagatpura for another city can take it and skip the crowded centre.

  3. Jaipur Junction

    The main railway station, close to Bani Park and the Sindhi Camp bus stand. Roads around it stay busy for most of the day, so moves from nearby lanes are timed for quieter hours.

  4. JLN Marg

    The long road running south from the old city past Rajasthan University towards Malviya Nagar and the airport side. Many south Jaipur colonies are easiest to find from it.

  5. Sitapura Industrial Area

    South of the city, off Tonk Road. Office and godown moves here need the loading bay and the building's working hours agreed in advance so the shift causes the least downtime.

  6. Jaipur Metro Pink Line

    The Pink Line runs from Mansarovar in the west to Badi Chaupar in the old city. Customers often describe their home by its nearest station, which helps us fix the parking spot for the truck.

Homes we move

Moving an Old-City House, Colony Home or New Tower in Jaipur

Old-city homes are often two or three storeys tall, with steep, narrow stairs. Big almirahs and double beds may have to be taken apart before they can come down, so our crew carries tools for dismantling and wraps each panel with its screws and fittings, labelled with the room it came from.

The planned colonies built by the JDA and the housing board, such as Malviya Nagar, Mansarovar and Vidhyadhar Nagar, are mostly independent houses with a gate on the road. These are the simplest Jaipur homes to load: the truck parks outside, and we only check the gate width and any low cables first.

Newer apartment societies on Ajmer Road, in Jagatpura and along Tonk Road run like societies in any big city, with lift bookings, gate passes and fixed moving hours. Jaipur homes also hold a lot of stone and carved wood: marble tabletops, sandstone planters, brass and wooden décor. Heavy stone gets thick padding and corner guards, and the most delicate carved pieces can go in a wooden crate.

Can a Truck Reach Your Jaipur Home? Lanes, Hours and the Border

  • Walled City access

    Many old-city lanes are too narrow for a large truck. We plan a smaller vehicle or hand-carrying to the nearest wide road, and load the main truck there.

  • Heavy-vehicle hours

    Heavy vehicles may be restricted in the old city and on some central roads at busy times. We check the timing in force before we fix the loading slot.

  • Society rules in new towers

    Apartment societies usually want a move-out slip from the office and a booked lift. Ask for both a few days before the date.

  • Crossing into Haryana

    A move to Gurgaon or Delhi crosses a state border. We prepare the goods list for the journey; keep bills for any new, still-boxed appliances handy in case papers are asked for.

When to move

Which Season Is Best for a Jaipur House Shift?

October to March is the most comfortable window for a Jaipur move. Days are dry and mild, and the run to NCR is easy, though early fog on NH-48 in December and January can hold a truck up for a few hours.

From April to June the heat is fierce, so loading begins soon after sunrise and we aim to be done before the afternoon. Keep medicines, cosmetics, candles and anything that softens in heat in a bag you carry, not in the truck.

The monsoon, roughly July to September, usually brings short, heavy showers rather than days of rain, so we keep sheets ready and load between spells. In the winter wedding season, big wedding dates can fill roads and banquet areas; if your date clashes with one, book early.
