Goods in a truck travel for a day or a week. Goods in storage sit still for months. That changes how they should be packed.

  • Clean and dry first. Anything packed damp can grow mould in a sealed carton. Defrost and dry the fridge and washing machine.
  • Contents on every carton. Besides the number and your name, a short contents note means you can ask for one carton back, not all forty.
  • Mattresses and sofas covered in protective sheeting to keep dust off.
  • Heavy at the base. Drums and heavy cartons go at the bottom of the pallet, lighter ones on top.

Moving and storing at once? Our household shifting crew packs once for both. We collect from homes across Delhi and Gurgaon, including Defence Colony and Model Town.
