Every photo on this page was taken on one of our jobs or at the storage facility we use. We have grouped them by stage, from packing to storage, and the captions say what each one shows.
Packing, wrapping and labelling
Each piece is wrapped for what it is, then numbered and labelled with its destination. This is the core of our household shifting service.

Crews, loading and vehicles
Packed goods wait at the door for the truck, and our crews work in uniform. Bikes are wrapped just as carefully; cars travel in covered carriers, as described on our car and bike transport page.

What to Look For in These Photos
Zoom in on any carton and you will see the same habits on every job. These are what keep goods safe and easy to count.
-
A number on every piece
Numbers such as #16, #22 and #23 are written on each carton and wrapped item, so the count can be checked at both ends of the move.
-
Contents and destination
Each carton also says what is inside, like “LED” or “centre table”, and where it is going, like Pune or West Bengal.
-
FRAGILE tape on the edges
Screens, glass and other breakables get red-and-white FRAGILE HANDLE WITH CARE tape across the top and down the edges.
-
Film over the carton
Stretch film goes over cartons and wrapped furniture. It keeps out dust and rain and holds the inner packing tight.
-
Covers and foam first
Sofas, tables and cabinets are wrapped in quilted covers, foam or carton sheets before the film goes on.
-
Straps on tall loads
Tall cartons and cabinets are bound with straps, so the packing stays in place while the load is lifted and moved.

Questions About Our Photos and Packing
Still have a question?
Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.
Yes. They show our crews, goods they packed for customers and the storage units we use. None of them are stock images.
Boxes and special cartons, metal or wooden drums, pallets and insert plates, as listed in our brochure. The photos also show the outer layers that go on top: quilted covers, foam, stretch film, strapping and FRAGILE tape.
The number ties each piece to the list of what is moving. When the goods are unloaded, you and the crew can tick the numbers off one by one, so a missing piece shows up on the day and not weeks later.
Yes. Stored goods are kept on pallets and apart from other customers’ goods, with CCTV and motion sensors working round the clock. Read about warehousing and storage for the details.
