Packers and movers · Sonipat, Haryana
Maxx Relocation shifts faculty households, student rooms, Kundli township homes and older Sonipat houses, into Delhi, up the GT Road or to other states. We handle them from our Gurgaon office, using the KMP Expressway where it saves a trip through Delhi.
Moving in Sonipat

Sonipat starts at Delhi's northern border and runs up NH-44. Four national highways cross the district, from NH-44 to the roads for Gohana, Jhajjar and Meerut, according to the district administration, and the KMP Expressway begins at Kundli. So a truck can leave Sonipat north, west or round Delhi to Gurgaon without entering the capital.
The town's newest neighbours are universities. Rajiv Gandhi Education City, planned over 2,026 acres, holds Ashoka University, a National Law University, SRM University and an IIT Delhi extension campus among others. Faculty families and students moving in and out carry very different loads, and each campus has its own entry rules.
Our head office in Gurgaon plans each Sonipat move, and the KMP gives the truck a direct way up. For the Delhi end, our Model Town and Pitampura pages cover nearby North Delhi colonies.
Areas we cover
Areas in and around Sonipat where we shift homes, from the city sectors to the Kundli townships and the district's other towns.
Finding your way
The roads and places that decide how a Sonipat move is routed and timed.
The spine of the district, from the Delhi border at Kundli through Murthal and Ganaur towards Panipat. Almost every Sonipat move touches it.
The crossing between Kundli and Delhi on NH-44. Traffic here builds quickly, so Delhi-bound moves are planned around it and around Delhi's goods-vehicle hours.
The Western Peripheral Expressway leaves NH-44 at a cloverleaf in Kundli and curves round Delhi to Manesar and Palwal. Trucks bound for Gurgaon, Jaipur or Mumbai usually take it.
The university belt near Rai. Campus moves need the university's entry permission and, often, a set time for the truck on campus.
The main station on the Delhi–Kalka line, beside State Highway 20. Homes in the old town around it sit on narrow lanes.
Homes we move
The townships near Kundli and along the highway have plotted houses, independent floors and some group-housing societies. Many are newer, with wide internal roads but gated entry, so tell the estate office the date and the vehicle in advance.
Campus housing works to its own rules. Faculty flats and student hostels have fixed check-in and check-out days, security desks and sometimes limits on vehicle size. We follow the university's rules and pack rooms so cartons can be carried quickly through corridors.
In the older city, houses stand close together and lanes are narrow. We ask about the approach before the day and choose a vehicle that can reach the door, or one that parks nearby while the crew carries. Our household shifting page lists what we pack.
On the ground
Universities usually want advance notice of a moving vehicle. Share the vehicle and crew details they ask for, and the name of the person who approves entry.
HSIIDC estates at Kundli, Rai, Barhi and Murthal usually need a gate pass for the truck and crew. Arrange it with the unit's administration before the day.
For a Sonipat to Delhi move, we plan the start so the truck clears the Singhu rush and enters Delhi within the hours goods vehicles are allowed.
Moves to Panipat, Karnal or Chandigarh stay on NH-44 most of the way. Shorter ones are often a single day's trip.
When to move
Campus moves bunch up at the start and end of each academic year, roughly May to August, when faculty join and students leave. Families with flexible dates find those weeks the hardest to book.
October and November can bring smoke from crop-residue burning in the surrounding fields, which cuts visibility on NH-44. December and January add dense fog, and highway departures may wait until it clears.
Spring, from February to April, is usually the easiest time on the GT Road: dry, clear and not yet hot. In the July to September monsoon, low patches of the service roads can flood.

In Sonipat, where each end of the move sits matters: a campus with gate rules, a township with wide roads or an old-city lane, and whether the truck must cross into Delhi.
