Maxx Relocation shifts family homes, refinery-staff households and textile traders' goods in Panipat, locally and along NH-44 to Delhi, Chandigarh and other states. We plan and run every Panipat move from our office in Gurgaon.
Moving in Panipat

Panipat sits on NH-44, about 95 km north of Delhi and 169 km south of Chandigarh, according to Panipat's Wikipedia entry. It is known as the city of weavers, with a large trade in recycled textiles and garments, so a household here often has a shop, a godown or a stack of samples somewhere in the picture.
The other big employer is Indian Oil. The Panipat Refinery, set up in 1998 at Baholi on the GT Road, now handles about 15 million tonnes a year. Its staff move on transfer with a joining date at the other end, and that date sets the whole plan.
Our Gurgaon head office plans and runs each Panipat move. If trade stock is going with your household goods, tell us at the start: it is packed, listed and papered separately from the home's contents.

Finding your way
The places that decide how a truck reaches your door and which way it leaves town.
The old Grand Trunk Road, now NH-44, runs straight through Panipat. The district administration lists it as the city's main road link, and it carries heavy truck traffic day and night.
The Industrial Estate, spread over about 926 acres, is on Refinery Road, which joins NH-44. Textile and other units here need their own gate arrangements for a truck.
Indian Oil's refinery and the petrochemical plants beside it. Staff housing and plant areas have security gates, so entry for a moving truck is arranged in advance.
Shatabdi and long-distance trains stop here. The station area is busy and lanes around it are narrow, so homes nearby are often reached by a small tempo, with the big truck waiting on the main road.
NH-709 runs south-west from Panipat through Gohana to Rohtak. Moves towards Rohtak or Hisar usually take it instead of going back down to Delhi.
Homes we move
Most sector homes in Panipat are plotted houses on two or three floors, with a car porch and a roof store. Families who trade in textiles often keep bales, rolls or sample stock in a ground-floor room, which we pack and list separately from the household goods.
In the old city around Tehsil Camp and the bazaars, homes are often above shops on lanes that fill with carts and two-wheelers by mid-morning. We load early and keep the truck at the mouth of the lane.
Refinery and company housing runs to its own rules. There is usually a vacating date, an inspection of fittings and a gate pass for the truck, all fixed by the estate office. We pack to that timetable, so the flat is empty and swept before the handover.
On the ground
Goods for sale usually need an invoice or challan, and under GST may need an e-way bill. Ask your accountant, and give us a separate list so stock and personal goods are not mixed.
Handloom rugs are rolled, never folded, and wrapped in plastic under a paper layer so they do not sweat on a long trip. Cushion covers and curtains go flat into clean cartons.
Plant and staff areas control vehicle entry. Share the gate-pass details from your admin office a few days before the move.
NH-44 through Panipat stays busy with trucks. We plan the departure so the highway part of the trip runs outside the worst congestion.
When to move
December and January bring dense morning fog to the GT Road plains. On those days an outstation truck leaves once visibility improves, and we tell you if that pushes delivery by a few hours.
May and June are fiercely hot. Loading starts in the cool of the morning, and wax, medicines and anything that softens in heat travel with you rather than in the truck.
In April and again in October, grain from the surrounding fields heads to the mandis and the highway gets slower. The weeks either side of the harvest, and the dry spell after the monsoon, are usually the smoothest for a move.

FAQ
Still have a question?
Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.
Yes, if it is packed and listed separately and carries the paperwork your accountant advises. Tell us the rough volume when you ask for a quote, so the truck has room for both.
Yes. Share the vacating date from your township or estate office and the joining date at the new posting. We pack before the inspection, and for long transfers our domestic relocation service covers the drive and delivery.
Usually, yes. Delhi is about 100 km down NH-44, so a typical house is packed, driven and unloaded the same day. North Delhi colonies such as Shalimar Bagh are the quickest to reach.
Rugs are rolled with the pile inwards, sleeved and wrapped so they cannot crease or pick up damp. Furnishings are folded flat into clean cartons and kept apart from kitchen goods.
It can delay the start. On dense-fog mornings the truck waits until visibility improves, which may add a few hours. We tell you the evening before if that is likely.
Yes. It is about 170 km up NH-44, so delivery normally follows within a day or two. Our Chandigarh page covers the tricity end.
