Packers and movers · Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
Maxx Relocation shifts homes across Ghaziabad, from the trans-Hindon societies of Indirapuram, Vaishali and Vasundhara to Raj Nagar Extension and the older colonies around Kavi Nagar. Our Gurgaon office plans each one, with the Delhi border crossing built into the timing.
Moving in Ghaziabad

The Hindon river splits Ghaziabad in two. West of it, the trans-Hindon side presses against East Delhi: Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Kaushambi. East of it is the older city of Raj Nagar, Kavi Nagar and Shastri Nagar, with Raj Nagar Extension and Crossings Republik growing on the edges, as Ghaziabad's Wikipedia entry describes.
Many families here work in Delhi or Noida, so a local shift is often about the commute, and the border sits in the middle of the plan. Namo Bharat trains now stop at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Duhai, per the corridor's station list, and a station name is now a handy way to describe where you live.
Ghaziabad jobs are handled from our head office in Gurgaon, on the far side of Delhi. For a move into the capital, our Delhi page has the details for that side.
Areas we cover
From the trans-Hindon societies to the old city and the newer townships, these are areas where we shift homes. Ask about any others.
Finding your way
Where your home sits against these decides how long the drive takes, especially into Delhi.
The two main road crossings into East Delhi. Both are slow for much of the day, so Delhi-bound trucks from Indirapuram, Vaishali or Kaushambi are timed to miss the worst of it.
At 10.5 km on 227 single pillars, the district administration calls it India's longest elevated road. It links the Raj Nagar Extension side towards UP Gate above the inner-city traffic.
The Blue Line ends at Vaishali, with Kaushambi before it, and the Red Line ends at Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda). Families often give one of these stations as their reference point.
The expressway runs past the city to Meerut; NH-9, which many still call NH-24, heads east towards Hapur. Moves to Meerut, Dehradun or Haridwar start on one of the two.
The oldest part of Ghaziabad, with busy markets and narrow lanes around the railway station. Homes near it may need a smaller vehicle and a short hand-carry.
Homes we move
Societies in Indirapuram, Vaishali and Vasundhara range from four-storey blocks to tall towers. Many have passenger lifts but no service lift, so a big sofa or a double-door fridge may have to go by the stairs. We check the lift car's size before the day.
Raj Nagar Extension and Crossings Republik are newer, with tall towers in large societies. Gate rules can be strict, and the society may set move-in days and hours. Our household shifting team plans the crew around that window.
Kavi Nagar, Raj Nagar and Shastri Nagar have independent houses, often holding two or three generations of furniture, on lanes where a large truck cannot turn. For these we use a vehicle that fits the lane and carry the last stretch by hand.
On the ground
Anand Vihar and UP Gate can hold a truck for a long time at peak hours, and goods vehicles face time limits on many Delhi roads. We plan Delhi-bound moves to cross outside the rush.
Ghaziabad societies commonly want a written request, a gate pass or a no-dues slip before goods leave, and may allow moves only on certain days. Ask the office early.
Tell us if the lane is narrow or has a low arch, loose wires or a tree. We may bring a smaller vehicle and carry goods out to it.
Potted plants cope well with short local moves. Water them a day before, not on the day, so pots are lighter and do not leak onto cartons.
When to move
The weeks before Diwali are among the busiest for moving here, as many families want to settle into a new home before the festival. If that is your plan, fix the date in September.
May and June are very hot, and afternoon loading is slow and tiring, so morning starts work best. In the July to September monsoon, some roads and underpasses waterlog after heavy rain.
Fog in December and January is thick on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and NH-9 in the early hours. For a long intercity move out of Ghaziabad in those months, allow an extra day.

FAQ
Still have a question?
Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.
Usually, yes, for a typical flat. The drive crosses Delhi or goes round it, so we start early and plan around Delhi's goods-vehicle hours. Our Gurgaon page covers the other end.
The trans-Hindon societies such as Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Kaushambi; the old city around Raj Nagar and Kavi Nagar; and newer townships like Raj Nagar Extension and Crossings Republik. If your area is not listed, ask anyway.
Often a mid-size vehicle can. Where it cannot, we park on the nearest wider road and carry the goods. Send us a photo of the lane when you ask for a quote.
Usually. The common road route runs up the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and on through Meerut and Roorkee, about 220 km in all. Our Dehradun page covers that end.
Yes. Tell us the date and time window your society gives you, and we plan the crew and vehicle to fit. If the window is short, we can pack the day before so only loading is left.
Yes, on local moves within Delhi NCR. We keep them upright and loosely wrapped so they get air. Long trips in a closed truck are hard on plants, so for those we suggest you carry your favourites yourself.
