Maxx Relocation shifts homes as packers and movers in Nagpur, whether you are heading north to Delhi, south to Hyderabad, west to Pune or east to Raipur. We plan the route, pack for the heat, and put the price in writing before the move.
Moving in Nagpur

Nagpur sits close to the geographic centre of India, and the Zero Mile Stone the British used to measure distances is still in the city. For a mover, the practical point is simpler. NH-44, the north–south road from Delhi to Hyderabad and Bengaluru, crosses NH-53, the east–west road from Surat to Raipur, so a truck leaving Nagpur can head almost anywhere without a detour.
That shapes the moves we plan. Many are long-distance moves: out to Pune, Hyderabad or Bengaluru for a new job, in from other states on a government or defence transfer, or in and out of the IT offices at MIHAN. The packing has to hold up over several days on the road, not just a few hours across town.
The other thing that shapes a Nagpur move is the summer. From April to June the city is among the hottest in the country, and that changes how and when we load.
Areas we cover
We shift homes across Nagpur and its growth belt to the south. If your area is not listed, ask; we cover it the same way.
Finding your way
Tell us which of these you live near. It helps us fix the loading point and the road the truck takes out of the city.
The survey marker in the city centre near Vidhan Bhavan. It is a good reference for central addresses, where government offices and older bungalows sit side by side.
The main market and the railway station sit close together in the centre. Streets here are crowded through the day, so moves from flats nearby start early.
The road south past the airport towards MIHAN and Butibori, lined with newer apartment towers. Much of the city's recent housing is along it, and it is the natural exit for moves to Hyderabad.
The Samruddhi Mahamarg to Mumbai starts at Shivmadka on Nagpur's outskirts and has been open along its full length since June 2025. Trucks can use it for a quicker run towards Mumbai, and for part of the way to Pune.
NH-44 leaves the city past the Kamptee cantonment towards Seoni, Sagar and eventually Delhi. Moves for defence families in Kamptee often start from here.
Homes we move
Civil Lines, Dharampeth and Ramdaspeth hold many older independent houses and bungalows, some with large gardens and outhouses. Rooms are big and the furniture is heavy, but access is easy, so the work is mostly careful packing and good labelling.
Along Wardha Road, in Manish Nagar, Besa and near MIHAN, the newer housing is mostly apartment towers. These run on society rules: a lift booking, gate entry for the truck and sometimes fixed hours for moving. Check them with the society office before the date.
Nagpur is also Maharashtra's second capital and a big railway and defence town, so many homes are official quarters. A quarter usually has a handover date and an inspection, so we plan the packing to leave the house clear with time to spare. If the next posting is not ready, the goods can wait in storage.
On the ground
From Nagpur, almost every metro is a multi-day drive. Cartons are packed full so nothing shifts, furniture is wrapped in layers, and every piece is numbered on the inventory.
Screens, computers and appliances are packed in the cool morning hours and padded well, and they never wait in the sun. Carry laptops, hard drives and medicines yourself.
Mumbai-bound trucks can take the Samruddhi Expressway or the older route west along NH-53 through Amravati and Akola. We pick the road that suits your date and load.
If one of you moves first and the family follows later, part of the goods can go ahead while the rest waits in storage.
When to move
November to February is the best season. Days are warm and dry, mornings are pleasant, and a long-distance truck faces neither heat nor rain.
April to June is extreme. May afternoons can cross 45°C, and Nagpur's record highs sit well above that, while a closed truck gets far hotter inside. We load from early morning, keep screens and appliances well padded, and ask you to carry medicines, cosmetics, candles and anything with a battery you would not leave in a hot car.
The monsoon usually arrives in June and lasts until September, with July the wettest month and heavy spells that can flood low roads and underpasses for a few hours. Loads are sheeted, and we check the weather along the whole route, not just in Nagpur. October is a good month too, once the rain clears.

We pack screens, computers and appliances early in the morning, pad them well and load them where nothing heavy presses on them. The truck stays closed once it is loaded. Keep laptops and hard drives with you on the journey.
It can shorten the drive, since the expressway now runs the whole way from Nagpur to the Bhiwandi side of Mumbai with few towns to pass through. A loaded truck still keeps to the lower truck speed limit and takes rest stops, so we plan a Nagpur to Mumbai move at about two to three days. Your quote confirms the timing.
Yes, both into and out of Nagpur. Share your joining date and both addresses; for an apartment near MIHAN, check the society's move-in hours. We can move your car on a covered carrier too, through our car transport service.
Yes. If one of you leaves Nagpur first, the rest of the household can wait in storage, palletised and kept separate in a warehouse with CCTV and motion sensors, and you can inspect it. We deliver the rest whenever you are ready for it.
Often, yes. It is about 500 km down NH-44, so goods packed in the morning usually arrive the next day. Your quote confirms the delivery day for your date.
Nagpur to Delhi is about 1,090 km by road, usually three to four days in transit. Goods vehicles have restricted hours on many Delhi roads, so the delivery slot is planned around them. For the Delhi end, see our Delhi page.
