Sector 46 is a HUDA sector in central Gurgaon that The Tribune has called one of the largest in the city, with more than 30,000 residents (The Tribune). Its HUDA market has a community centre behind it, and a road from there runs towards Jal Vihar Colony and Sector 51. The streets are maintained by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, which ordered pothole repairs after the 2024 rains damaged the market road and many inner lanes.

It is also a sector of schools. Amity International School has a branch here, and Manav Rachna International School stands in Block F of Greenwood City, the gated society Sector 46 shares with Sector 45 (MRIS). If a school is part of the reason for your move, the school calendar will probably decide the date too, so we plan the packing around it.

Some streets have changed character. In 2024 The Tribune named Sector 46 among the older sectors worst affected by houses turned into schools, clinics, gyms and guesthouses, which bring more parked cars to residential lanes (The Tribune).
