Sector 80 Gurgaon: a few finished societies, many under construction

Sector 80 has a highway frontage. Godrej Frontier, 483 flats on about 11 acres, sits directly on NH-48 and has been ready to move into for years. Unitech Karma Lakelands is also listed as ready. Most of the other names are still being built: a Square Yards list of Sector 80 projects shows Sobha Aranya, Conscient Parq, Conscient Elaira Residences, Eldeco Fairway Reserve, Eldeco Terra and Sol and Trehan Iris Omara with possession dates between 2029 and 2032.

One more is Ashiana Aaroham, 542 homes on 10.8 acres, whose two phases were registered with HARERA in November 2025 and January 2026. Ashiana places it about eight minutes from NH-48 and lists St. Xavier's High School, Miracles Apollo Hospital and Elan Mercado mall nearby. On the other side, The Tribune counts Sector 80 among the sectors along the Southern Peripheral Road.

Inside the sector, the Naurangpur road to Rampura Chowk carries much of the local traffic, and in July 2026 Haryana cleared it for widening into a six-lane corridor with service roads and drains. Moving Day in Sector 80: What We Plan For

Living next to active building sites changes the small details of a shift.

On the ground in Sector 80 New Gurgaon & Dwarka Expressway

  1. Covers against site dust

    With towers rising nearby, we keep upholstery, mattresses and screens sealed in stretch film until the room they go into has been wiped down.

  2. Sharing roads with site trucks

    Business Today reported heavy dumper traffic on the local link road. We time loading for the quieter part of the day where the society allows it.

  3. Highway frontage

    A society on NH-48 can be easy to reach but awkward to turn into. We confirm which gate takes goods vehicles and where the truck may wait.

  4. Renting while you wait

    Buyers in projects due later in the decade often rent nearby first. We can do the short shift now and the move into the new flat later.

  5. Move-out paperwork

    Ask your facility office early about the gate pass, lift booking and any dues clearance it needs before goods can leave.

Finding your way

Highway Landmarks That Guide a Sector 80 Move

Much of Sector 80 faces NH-48, so the reference points sit on or near the highway rather than deep inside the sector.

  1. Elan Mercado

    Elan's high-street complex has a four-screen PVR, a food court and service apartments, with shopfronts opening straight onto NH-8, and it received its occupancy certificate in October 2022. Evenings and weekends bring crowds, so we never ask a moving truck to wait outside it.

  2. Badshahpur Chowk

    The Tribune describes SPR as meeting Golf Course Road and Sohna Road at Badshahpur Chowk on its way to NH-48. Families shifting to Sector 80 from either road usually come through this junction, and we look at its traffic on the morning of the move.

  3. The Naurangpur road, rebuilt

    Business Today says the finished six-lane road will have a 9.9-metre main carriageway with 5.5-metre service roads on both sides, inside an 84-metre right of way. Those service lanes should give trucks room to pull over; until the work is done, there is no such space.

  4. Ompee Global School and Medeor Hospital

    On its Godrej Frontier page, Square Yards places Ompee Global School about 1.3 km away and Medeor Hospital about 2.5 km away. We keep big vehicles off the school road at bus times.

From Highway Towers to Golf Villas: Sector 80 Homes

Square Yards lists Godrej Frontier as ten towers lettered A to K, rising between 12 and 18 floors, with penthouses on top and a 36-metre green belt between the flats and the highway. Tell us your tower letter when you book. On a site that size the nearest goods entrance differs from block to block, and a penthouse terrace often adds planters and outdoor furniture to the load.

Karma Lakelands is a different job altogether. Unitech describes 246 villas in five designs, of about 5,867 to 6,780 sq ft, spread over 300 acres where no structure is taller than the trees. The homes have VRV air-conditioning and home automation, so ask a technician to disconnect those systems before packing day, and expect a full villa to need more than one vehicle.

What Sector 80 Societies and Estates Ask For

  • Vehicle number and crew IDs

    A March 2026 guide by a Gurgaon mover lists the truck number and copies of crew ID cards among the details RWAs typically want with a move request. We send both as soon as the vehicle is assigned.

  • One to three days of notice

    The same guide describes NOC requests going in 24 to 72 hours ahead of the shift. Confirm your own society's lead time; a Saturday move requested on Friday may already be too late.

  • Check a new project's registration

    Waiting for a flat in Ashiana Aaroham or another new project here? Its registration can be looked up on the HARERA portal. Fix the moving date only once the builder has issued the possession letter.

Which Months Suit a House Shift in Sector 80?

In mid-May 2024 the IMD warned of an intense heatwave around Gurugram, with 43 to 45 °C forecast and the worst from 16 to 21 May. When loading happens in the open, we start at first light in May and June and keep the cargo box shut between trips so cartons and electronics do not bake.

Ahead of the 2026 monsoon, Gurugram's civic bodies flagged 159 waterlogging hotspots and set 1 July as the opening date of their flood-control office. We treat that as the start of the risky stretch: from July to mid-September a Sector 80 move gets one buffer day and extra plastic sheeting for the furniture.

Godrej Frontier and Unitech Karma Lakelands are listed as ready to move. Many of the other projects in the sector show possession dates from 2029 onwards, so check with your builder before planning a move-in.

Yes. The society is on NH-48, so a Delhi move usually comes straight down the highway. We plan the departure around Delhi's goods-vehicle timings and your society's truck slot.

Mostly it changes the unpacking. We keep soft furniture and electronics wrapped until the dust is cleared, then open cartons room by room.

It can slow the last part of the drive. Business Today reported work was expected to start in August 2026 and take about two years, so we check the approach the week before.

You can talk to us early, but the move itself depends on handover. When your possession date is firm, we survey your current home and set a date that fits the society's move-in rules.
