Packers and movers · Sector 37, NH-48
Sector 37 is one of Gurgaon's working sectors: an industrial area beside NH-48 at Hero Honda Chowk, with Khandsa village and rented homes around it. Maxx Relocation moves small units, offices and households here, and plans each job around roads that carry heavy traffic and hold water in the rains.
Area overview

Sector 37 is mostly industrial. The Tribune refers to its Industrial Area Phase I and Phase II, and in 2024 it described Pace City-1, on the Hero Honda Chowk underpass side, as home to about 200 industries. People live here too. Khandsa, a village on the old NH-8 that is listed under Sector 37, is known for its Eklavya temple, and portals describe homes from rentals and builder floors to independent houses around the sector.
The roads are the hard part. In January 2025 industry owners told the MCG commissioner about sewer overflow, poor drainage, potholes and encroachments, and the 2024 report spoke of stagnant water and protruding manholes that get worse in the monsoon. In July 2026 The Tribune's list of waterlogging hotspots named Khandsa Road and the NH-8 corridor. Hero Honda Chowk itself is still changing: in 2023 GMDA ordered utilities moved at Sector 37 for an elevated road, and the planned Gurugram Metro line lists stations named Hero Honda Chowk and Sector 37.
So we look at the loading point, not just the address: whether a truck can stand at your shed door, where the water collects, and when the junction is quietest. For units in nearby industrial estates, see Udyog Vihar; for an office move, read about office relocation.
Local know-how
Industrial lanes, a busy highway junction and monsoon water decide the day.
On the ground in Sector 37 Old Gurgaon & NH-48
Many moves here are a workshop, a trading office or a store room. We list what goes, mark each carton by department or shelf, and agree what must be working first at the new site.
Industrial lanes can be lined with parked vehicles and goods. We confirm a loading spot near your door, and how long the truck may stand there, before the day.
The junction joins NH-48 and carries heavy traffic, with roadworks for the elevated road. Heavy-vehicle hours on city roads are set by the traffic police, so we check them and plan the run outside the busiest hours.
Stagnant water and overflowing sewers have been reported in the industrial area during the rains. On a wet day we look at the lane first, raise cartons off the floor and keep the load covered.
For a family in Khandsa or a builder floor nearby, the job is a household move: stairs, narrow lanes and furniture taken apart and refitted at the new address.
If the new premises are not ready, stock, files and furniture can go into storage and come out in the order you need them.
Finding your way
Freight sets the rhythm here: a wholesale market, a highway flyover and the industrial lanes all compete for the same road space.
The 1.4 km flyover carries NH-48 over the junction. NHAI shut its main carriageway for a load test from 21 to 26 September 2022, sending traffic onto the service lanes and the underpass, and in May 2024 a depression in a 20-metre section closed one lane on the Delhi–Jaipur side.
On the evening of 5 January 2026 the underpass was shut after stones and tiles were thrown onto passing vehicles. NHAI said there was no structural damage, and both sides reopened at 2 pm the next day. Closures like this can come without notice, so we check the junction on the morning of a move.
The Tribune calls the Khandsa market one of the country's largest fruit and vegetable wholesale markets, with about 300 commission agents and 500 retailers. Produce vehicles use the same roads as a moving truck, so we time trips on Khandsa Road around the market's working hours.
Homes we move
Property listings for Pace City II, the industrial pocket in Sector 37 alongside Pace City-1, describe independent factory buildings on plots of around 1,000 square metres. A unit like this moves bay by bay: racks come down, stock is counted and packed by bin or part number, and machines wait for their own rigging plan. Loading is usually from a shed door or a yard, which is quicker than carrying down a stair.
Trading and back offices in the sector move like any office, with desks, files and computers packed team by team. The difference is the neighbours: a goods lift or a yard may be shared with a working factory floor, so we agree times with the building when it is not carrying stock.
On the ground
Under the Haryana State Pollution Control Board's consent procedure, a unit that shifts to another site must take a fresh Consent to Establish there, and no unit may operate without its Consent to Operate. Start that application before you book the move.
Through GMDA's Vehicle Movement Digi Pass portal, Gurugram Traffic Police issues free digital permits letting commercial vehicles of firms, manufacturing units among them, run during the 8–10 am and 5–9 pm no-entry hours on designated roads. Permits depend on traffic density and were first issued for three months.
We ask your security desk how it records goods leaving the premises, and hand it a packing list with carton and crate numbers so the gate check is quick.

When to move
GMDA said in July 2026 that the city's vulnerable waterlogging spots had fallen from around 90, and Khandsa Chowk was one of the six still on the list. For a unit or home near the chowk, a July or August move needs a weather check that morning and a fallback day.
National days close the roads to freight. In January 2025, heavy and medium goods vehicles were barred from Gurugram and Delhi from 5 pm on 22 January to 1:30 pm on 23 January, and again from 5 pm on 25 January to 1:30 pm on 26 January, ThePrint reported, with diversions at Hero Honda Chowk among other points. A machinery or stock move is best kept a few days clear of those dates.
For a running unit, the best window is one it already plans to stop for, such as the weekly off or a maintenance shutdown, so production pauses only once.

Pricing guidance
In Sector 37 the loading point and the clock count for more than distance. A shed with a truck at the door is quicker than a first-floor office down a crowded lane.

Mainly industrial, with Industrial Area Phases I and II and Pace City-1. There are homes too: Khandsa village is listed under Sector 37, and builder floors and rented homes sit around the sector.
We move offices, store rooms and the furniture, files and stock of small units. Tell us early about any heavy machinery, since that needs a separate plan and the right equipment.
Usually yes, so the unit loses as few working hours as possible. Check that your estate or landlord allows loading at that time and that the lane will be clear.
It can add a lot of time to a short trip. We plan the drive outside the busiest hours and check for diversions around the elevated-road work before the truck sets off.
Yes. We size the vehicle for the lane, carry goods down stairs where needed and refit beds and wardrobes at the new home. For moves across the city, see Gurgaon.
