Packers and movers · Sector 54, Golf Course Road
Maxx Relocation moves flats out of Sector 54's gated societies on Golf Course Road: we pack your home, fit the day into your society's rules and bring the truck in and out through the right gate. Work through the checklist below, then send us your date.
Area overview

Sector 54 is part of DLF City Phase 5 on Golf Course Road, served by two Rapid Metro stations, Sector 53-54 and Sector 54 Chowk. Most homes here are flats in large gated condominiums such as DLF's The Crest, with the low-rise floors of The Grove alongside. Moving out of one is rarely about packing alone. Before a single carton leaves, the estate office usually wants to know the date, the flat number and who is moving, and the guards may not open the service gate until the paperwork is in order.
So we treat a Sector 54 move as two jobs running side by side. One is ours: wrapping, labelling and loading your goods with trained crews. The other is yours, and we help you plan it. That means the gate pass, the lift booking, any dues the society wants cleared, and the slot when a truck may stand near your tower.
Every society writes its own rules, so read our list as questions for your estate office, not as rules. Start a week or two ahead, and in the monsoon watch the forecast: in July 2026 The Tribune named DLF Phases 1 to 5 among the worst-hit waterlogging spots. For what the full home service covers, see household shifting. If you are moving into a builder floor next door, our Sector 55 page covers stairs and street parking, and our Gurgaon moving page lists every other area we cover in the city.
Local know-how
Ask your estate office about each of these. Rules differ from one society to the next, and they change over time.
On the ground in Sector 54 Golf Course Road
Many societies issue a move-out pass only after a written request from the resident. Ask who signs it, how many days it takes and whether the guard needs a printed copy on the day.
A whole tower often shares one service lift. Book it for the full loading span, not just the hour the truck arrives, and ask whether the society takes a refundable deposit.
Some estates let goods move only in set hours on set days. Tell us your window; we pack in the days before so loading finishes inside it.
Maintenance and utility bills may need settling before the pass is released, and tenants may need a note from the owner. Sort these early, not on the morning of the move.
Golf Course Road is a signal-free main road, so trucks never wait on the carriageway. Ask your estate office which gate and approach trucks use and whether a large vehicle may wait inside. If not, we shuttle goods from the tower door.
Estate teams notice scuffed lift panels and marked lobby floors. Where the society allows it, we cover lift walls and door edges, and walk the route with the guard before we leave.
Finding your way
These points lie along Golf Course Road and inside the sector, and each helps a truck reach the right gate.
The second of the sector’s Rapid Metro stops, Sector 54 Chowk is an elevated station between Sector 53-54 and Sector 55-56, now owned by HMRTC and run by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Its stairs make an easy meeting point when a family member comes ahead by train to open the new flat.
Suncity School runs its senior campus in Sector 54, on five and a half acres against the Aravallis. Its gate fills the internal roads at the start and end of the school day, so we load in the hours between.
The signal-free road dips under its junctions, and those dips are the first to flood. After heavy rain in August 2021, a PTI report said an underpass on Golf Course Road was waterlogged and shut to traffic, and named AIT Chowk and Sector 54 among the worst-hit spots. On a stormy day we take the service lanes.
Homes we move
Among the DLF societies, The Belaire is listed as five towers holding 350 flats on 7 acres, every one of them a four-bedroom home, with possession from 2012. Each flat comes with a full set of large furniture, so we send two teams: one packing upstairs and one working the service lift and the truck, which keeps the lift car moving.
The Grove, which DLF lists as low-rise floors of four and five bedrooms, works differently: fewer levels, but heavy pieces on a staircase or a small lift. Elsewhere in the sector, Suncity Township holds both residential plots and apartment blocks, and Square Yards gives it about 140 acres. A Suncity address can mean either, so tell us which when you call.
On the ground
Gurugram Traffic Police keep 8 to 10 am and 5 to 9 pm as no-entry hours for commercial vehicles on designated roads, and issue permits for those windows through the Vehicle Movement Digi Pass. For a Golf Course Road tower, we time the truck to arrive after the morning window closes.
DLF Phase V covers four sectors. DLF’s own compliance filings place Belaire in Zone 8, Sector 54, and The Crest in Zone 10. Give us the society, tower and gate rather than the phase, and the guard will be expecting the right vehicle.
In the plotted part of Suncity Township, the truck stands in the street, not in a loading bay. Ask the neighbours the evening before to keep the kerb outside your gate free for the loading hours.

When to move
Mid-May to June is the hardest stretch for crews. NewsX’s weather report for 19 May 2026 put Cyber City, a short way up Golf Course Road, at 44.1 °C with hot, dusty winds, and passed on advice to stay indoors from noon to 4 pm. On days like that we start at dawn, run the lift through the morning and keep only the drive for the afternoon.
In the monsoon, match the lift slot to the forecast. If storms are due later in the day, ask the estate office for a morning slot, so the truck is out on Golf Course Road before the underpasses start to fill.

Pricing guidance
In a Sector 54 tower, the clock matters as much as the load. A tight lift slot or a short move window can mean a larger crew on the day, and that shapes your quote more than the distance does.

FAQ
Still have a question?
Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.
It is a note from your society that allows goods to leave the campus. The estate office or the residents' association usually issues it. Ask them what they need from you; tenants are often asked for the owner's consent as well.
Our office is closed on Sundays, so we plan and confirm moves from Monday to Saturday. Many societies also limit weekend moves. If Sunday is your only option, say so when you enquire and we will tell you what is possible.
As soon as you have a date. Month-end is busy in big towers because many leases end together. A week's notice is a sensible start, but your estate office will know how far ahead its calendar fills.
Usually AIT Chowk. The Tribune describes it as the junction of Sectors 53, 54, 55 and 56, busy with Cyber City and Golf Course Road traffic at office hours, and GMDA has proposed an underpass there. We try to clear it before or after the peak.
For a smaller flat, usually yes. Both societies need to agree the times, the one you leave and the one you enter, so we plan the truck around both windows.
Commercial goods vehicles need a No Entry Permission for many Delhi roads during restricted hours, so we time the drive around them. The Delhi building may have no lift or loading bay, which changes the crew plan. Our Delhi page explains more.
