Wikipedia's entry on Wazirabad, a village on the Gurgaon–Faridabad road, says Sectors 52, 52A and 53, as well as Ardee City, all come under it. Ardee City is the sector's best-known address, a developer colony that property listings place in Sector 52, with plots, builder floors and apartments. Its residents have had to push for the basics. In January 2025 The Tribune reported that the municipal commissioner ordered sewer cleaning, road repairs and regular sweeping in the colony after residents raised complaints.

The main road is changing too. GMDA plans to rebuild the dividing road between Sectors 51 and 52 as a model road with new drains on both sides, footpaths and a green belt, after recurring flooding and broken patches; The Tribune gave the job six months once a contractor is in place. Ambedkar Chowk, which links Ardee City with Sohna Road, is also due a four-lane flyover.

That mix sets the plan. In Ardee City, a builder floor usually means stairs and a truck on the street, while an apartment means a lift booking. A house in the older village part may be reached only by lanes never laid out for big trucks, so we check the access on the survey and, if needed, bring a smaller vehicle to ferry goods out to the main truck. How We Plan a Move in Sector 52

The kind of home, and how near a truck can park to it, decides most of the job.

On the ground in Sector 52 Sohna Road & Manesar

  1. A shuttle when lanes are tight

    If a full-size truck cannot reach your door, a smaller vehicle carries goods to where the main truck waits. We settle this at the survey, not on the morning of the move.

  2. Floors in Ardee City

    A builder floor means stairs and street parking. We look at the stairwell, list what has to come apart and ask you to keep the space by the gate free.

  3. Around the road rebuild

    While the Sector 51–52 road is being redone, a lane or a cut may be shut. We look at the approach a day ahead and agree the way in with the driver.

  4. A spare day in the monsoon

    That road has flooded in past rains. For a July to September move we keep a fallback date in mind and seal mattresses and sofas against water.

  5. Your RWA's list

    Ardee City has a residents' welfare association. Ask it what is needed before goods leave, such as a dues note or a gate pass, and send us the list.

  6. Short hops next door

    A move from here to Sector 51, Sector 53 or South City II is a short drive, so a smaller home can often be packed, moved and unpacked in one day.

Ardee City, Wazirabad and the Points Drivers Use

Drivers find a Sector 52 home from a handful of known points, and the state of one road decides the way out.

  1. Ardee Mall, Block B

    Map listings place Ardee Mall in Block B of Ardee City, and Reliance Digital gives its store address as the mall's second floor, Sector 52. It is the reference most drivers know inside the colony, so we use it to meet the crew and then stage the truck away from the mall frontage.

  2. SPR at Wazirabad

    Where the Southern Peripheral Road passes Wazirabad is on The Tribune's August 2025 list of stretches that flood each monsoon. Moves heading for the 60s and 70s sectors often use SPR, so in wet weather we check this stretch before we leave.

  3. Paras Hospital, Sushant Lok 1

    NoBroker names Paras as the nearest hospital to Ardee City, and the district administration lists it at C-1 Phase-I, Sushant Lok, Sector 43. Its approach roads are best avoided with a large truck at the busiest hours.

NoBroker's guide to Ardee City lists apartments, builder floors and plots inside the same gated township. So three quite different jobs can share one street: a lift-bound move from an apartment block, a stair carry from a floor, and a whole house on its own plot, where the truck may be able to back up to the gate.

Houses in the older Wazirabad part were not built to a single developer's plan, so stair widths, door sizes and the number of storeys can change from one house to the next. We measure each one at the survey instead of assuming, and list in advance which pieces will need to be taken apart.

What Ardee City's Gates and Offices Ask Before a Move

  • Verification for incoming tenants

    Gurugram Police offers tenant verification as a citizen service. If you are moving in on a lease, your landlord or the RWA may ask to see that it has been filed; do it before the truck arrives so the gate does not hold it.

  • Who supplies your power

    In 2019 The Tribune reported the Ardee City residents' association applying to DHBVN for a direct connection, so supply here has its own history. Ask whether your meter is billed by the estate office or by DHBVN, and settle the final reading with the right one.

  • Service lift in the apartment blocks

    For the township's apartment blocks, book the service lift through the estate office and ask whether a refundable deposit is taken. Rules can differ from block to block, so send us the one that applies to yours.

Good Weeks and Bad Weeks for a Sector 52 Move

Reviews on NoBroker's Ardee City page name monsoon waterlogging among the colony's problems, and the SPR stretch at Wazirabad floods most years. From July to September we keep a reserve date, and on the morning we check both the colony roads and the route out before loading.

Many families time the move into a new home to an auspicious date. One panchang, Astroyogi, lists no griha pravesh muhurat from August to October 2026 because of Chaturmas, then six dates in November and eight in December. Panchangs differ, so check yours; if you want one of those days, tell us when you first call, because they book up early.

Property listings place Ardee City in Sector 52, and Wikipedia lists both under the village of Wazirabad. Ambedkar Chowk links the colony to Sohna Road.

It depends on the lane. We look at the access during the survey. Where a big truck cannot get close, a smaller vehicle does the first stretch and the goods are moved across to the main truck.

It could slow the approach for a while. We check which lanes are open the day before your move and pick a way in that avoids any closure, so the work rarely changes the date itself.

Rules vary, so ask the RWA directly. Common requests are a note that maintenance dues are clear, a gate pass for the truck and, for tenants, word from the owner. Share the list and we plan around it.
