Ardee City's residents' welfare association, the main resident body in Sector 52, does not publish moving rules: when we read its website in October 2026, there were no moving hours, no deposit and no gate-pass steps. What it does publish, from a 2010 list of do's and don'ts to verification forms for tenants and domestic staff, still shapes a move, and so do the public records on who now runs the colony's roads.

This guide sets out each published or reported rule with its date, and says plainly where nothing is published. For how our crew plans a job here, see the Sector 52 packers and movers page; for prices and crew hours, read our Sector 52 costs guide.

What does the Ardee City RWA publish?

The association keeps an active website, ardeecityrwa.com, and it is the best public record of how the colony is run. Here is what we found on it, and what each item means for a move:

What is posted Date What it says Use for a move
Election circulars Sep 2026 A new governing body was declared on 29 September 2026 Ask the new office-bearers whether moving rules are being written or revised
Do's and don'ts 26 Mar 2010 Keep the road in front of your house clear; park without blocking traffic; do not damage roads, pavements or street-light poles Plan where the truck stands and protect the kerb
Downloads page Undated Tenant, employee, landlord and domestic-help forms, behind a member login Tenants and families with live-in help should file early
Contact details Undated "Ardee Office" open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm Get any letter signed on a weekday
Bye-laws (PDF) Undated Membership, the collegium and elections No moving rules here
Moving hours, deposit, gate pass n/a Nothing posted Ask in writing

The bye-laws are worth a glance only to understand the body you are dealing with. They are model bye-laws for a society with a collegium, run under Haryana's societies law of 2012, and they cover fees, voting and meetings. Nothing in them touches trucks, lifts or moving days.

Which posted rules affect moving day?

Three lines in the 2010 do's and don'ts apply directly:

  1. The road in front of your house. Residents are asked not to encroach on it. On a moving day, that means the truck stands at the kerb for loading and does not stay there with cartons stacked on the road.
  2. Parking. Vehicles on the roads must be parked properly, without blocking traffic. A long truck in a narrow inner road can do exactly that, which is why the access check at the survey matters.
  3. Common property. Roads, pavements, street-light poles and signboards are not to be damaged. A reversing truck is the usual risk, so someone should guide it in.

The same list asks owners renovating a house to dump building material only in proper places and to clear the debris. If you are moving into a floor that is being repainted or refitted, that rule applies to your contractor as well as to the movers.

The list is more than sixteen years old. It is the latest version the website shows, not proof that nothing newer exists, so ask the office whether a later circular has replaced it.

What paperwork does the RWA ask for?

Verification, mainly. The downloads page lists four forms behind the members' login: employee and tenant verification, tenant information, landlord information and verification of domestic staff. For maids and other house workers, it says the form should be filled in three copies, each with a photocopy of address proof, and handed in at the RWA office.

Gurugram Police runs tenant, domestic-help and vendor verification as an online service. A tenant moving in should ask the landlord which route the RWA accepts: the police portal, the RWA's own forms, or both. Domestic help who live in should be verified before they start, not after the move.

Timing matters too. The RWA's contact page lists an "Ardee Office" open on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm. If you need a letter or a signature for the move, plan for a weekday, not a Saturday or Sunday.

Who runs the roads: the developer, MCG or the RWA?

It has changed, and that matters when you ask whom to inform about a truck on the street. The record, in order:

  • 5 September 2021: The Times of India reported that the town planning department had cancelled the licence of Ardee City over land-title problems. It put Ardee City and Palm Grove Heights on 204 acres across Sectors 51, 52 and 57, with about 2,850 families living there.
  • 10 May 2022: Hindustan Times reported that Ardee City was one of nine private colonies being handed to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. Days later, The Tribune said the developers of those nine colonies would pay Rs 92.04 crore for deficient infrastructure.
  • 22 January 2025: The Tribune reported the MCG commissioner ordering road repairs, sewer cleaning and regular sweeping in Ardee City after the RWA's complaints.

Taken together, the reports suggest the streets are now the city's to maintain, while the RWA speaks for residents. Our newcomer guide covers who handles which complaint. For a move, the practical point is that the RWA can tell you its expectations, but no one we found issues a formal permit to park a moving truck on an Ardee City street. Do not assume the same of the apartment towers.

Do the apartment towers set their own rules?

Probably, but none publishes them. Square Yards lists Palm Grove Heights as an Ardee Infrastructure tower project inside the colony, and the RWA's own pages list it among the colony's building types. A tower usually means a service-lift booking and a fixed loading point, which a plotted street does not. We found no lift timetable, deposit or move-in form for these towers online.

If you are moving in or out of a flat there, ask the tower's maintenance office for its written rules, and ask who issues them: a tower association, the developer's team or the RWA. Our Sector 49 rules guide explains how Haryana's apartment law lets owners' associations write their own bye-laws.

The village side of the sector is different again. Wikipedia places Sector 52 under the old village of Wazirabad. Houses there have no RWA rulebook that we could find, so the landlord and the neighbours are the people to agree loading times with.

When can a truck run to and from Sector 52?

We found no published order that applies to Sector 52 alone. These citywide rules and plans do apply, with dates:

Rule or plan Source and date What it means Check before
Morning (8–10 am) and evening (5–9 pm) no-entry windows for goods vehicles on listed stretches; passes available Gurugram Traffic Police note on GMDA's site, undated Avoid those windows, or the truck needs a digital permit The week of the move
Six-lane flyover, about 700 m, planned at Ambedkar Chowk (Sectors 45/46–51/52) Amar Ujala, 5 Jul 2026 Expect diversions once work starts; we found no advisory yet Each month
Trucks registered outside Delhi lose the BS-IV grace period after 31 Oct 2026; BS-VI, CNG, LNG or electric only WION, 30 Sep 2026 A Sector 52 to Delhi move needs a compliant truck Late October onward

The no-entry note carries no date, so confirm the hours with the traffic police before relying on them; our costs guide covers how it shapes the start time. Amar Ujala reported that GMDA would build the flyover for about Rs 35.89 crore and leave room for an underpass later. The WION report is the one to watch this month.

Which questions should you put to the RWA?

Put these to the RWA office, the tower office if you live in one, and your landlord, and keep the replies:

  • To do: Do you have any written rules or a form for moving in or out? Please send a copy.
  • To do: Has the new governing body issued anything on moves since 29 September 2026?
  • To do: Which verification forms do you want from a tenant or live-in help, and where are they filed?
  • To do: On which days and at what hours can the office sign a letter for the move?
  • To do: Where can the truck park, how many hours may it stay, and on which side of the road?
  • To do: For a tower flat: which lift, which hours, and is a refundable deposit taken?
  • To do: Do dues need to be cleared before goods leave?

If the two homes give windows that do not meet, goods can wait in storage for a day or two. To see what the crew does from first carton to last bed refitted, read about household shifting. When you have the answers, send them to us with both addresses.

Everything above is general information, read against the listed sources in October 2026, and none of it is legal advice. RWA circulars, traffic orders and Delhi's entry rules change often; look at each again in the week of your move.
