Sushant Lok 2 has no shifting rulebook online: when we searched on 2 November 2026, no residents' association, developer or society in the phase had published move hours, a fee or a gate-pass form. Permission therefore comes from people you can name, namely the owner of your floor, the families who share its stair, the block's guards or RWA, and the committee if you live in The Surya Apartments, while the written rules belong to Gurugram Police, the town planners and the traffic police.
Each of those is set out below with a dated source, followed by the questions to put where nothing is written. Who has a say in a Sushant Lok 2 move?
Six parties, of which only the two police branches publish anything online:

Most homes here are floors in plotted houses, so the first two rows decide more of your day than any office. The exception is The Surya Apartments CGHS, which Square Yards lists in the phase as 50 flats of three bedrooms (1,600 sq ft) on about an acre. As a cooperative group housing society it is run by its own managing committee, so that committee, or whoever it names, is the one to ask about moving.
Does your sector change which office you deal with?
For the police, no. Sushant Lok 2 addresses carry three sector numbers: Plot 5 in Sector 55 for Gurugram Public School, Sector 56 on the Golf Course Extension Road side, and G Block in Sector 57 for Scottish High. Gurugram Police's jurisdiction list for the East district, which we checked on 2 November 2026, gives the Sector 55/56 station all three, "Sector 55,56,57 and Village Ghata". Whichever sector your lease prints, the tenant form goes to that one station.
For a driver, the sector still matters, because Sector 57 also contains Sushant Lok 3's own G Block. Write "Sushant Lok 2", the block, the plot and the sector on the booking, as our Sushant Lok 2 newcomer guide also advises for bank and delivery forms.
What should a tenant sort out with the owner and the police?
Three things, and each should end with a piece of paper.
Police verification. The Gurugram Police verification page, last updated on 17 August 2019, says to download the form, fill it in and submit it at the police station concerned with supporting documents, retain a copy, and give one more to the president of the RWA. It also links an online route. Agree in the lease who files it and by what date; if the owner files, ask for the acknowledgement.
The building's use. The phase has seen enforcement more than once. For a tenant the practical rule is simple: get the owner to state in writing whether any town-planning notice has reached the building, and if a sealing date exists, move before it.
The handover. Write down which fixtures remain, for example geysers, ceiling fans and fitted wardrobes, photograph the meter with its reading, and settle who pays the last water and power bills. A dispute over any of these is easier to settle before the truck is loaded than after.
Can the gate or guard turn the truck away?
A guard may stop and log the vehicle; a gate locked across an internal road in daytime is another matter. According to a PropNewsTime report dated 14 February 2025, the Deputy Commissioner directed that gates across the internal roads of licensed colonies, and of HSVP sectors, must stand open in the daytime, leaving only boom barriers that guards keep watch over. The demolitions in that report were in Sushant Lok 1 and South City 1; the details are in our Sushant Lok 1 rules guide. We found no report of a gate dispute in Sushant Lok 2.
On the day, a barrier is more likely than a locked gate. Two days ahead, send the guard post or the RWA:
- To do: the date and the hours you expect the vehicle;
- To do: its registration number;
- To do: the house or plot number and floor;
- To do: the crew's names, if the guard asks for them.
At The Surya Apartments, ask the office the same and add which gate a goods vehicle should use.
What might a society or RWA charge?
Possibly nothing on a plotted floor, possibly a fee and deposit in a society, and the only way to know is to ask. Gurgaon has no single tariff, NoBrokerHood wrote on 18 September 2026; it estimated shifting fees, in communities that levy them, at about Rs 500–5,000, with deposits, refundable, of about Rs 5,000–25,000, and advised residents to check the written policy and the refund terms. If any amount is asked, request the circular or resolution behind it and a receipt. A move-out may also need proof that maintenance dues are cleared, so clear them a few days ahead.
When may the truck run?
Inside a window set by the city, then narrowed by the colony and by us.

Two local features shape the hours further.
Schools. Gurugram Public School (Sector 55), Shalom Presidency School (Sector 56) and Scottish High (Sector 57) all carry Sushant Lok 2 addresses. We found no published opening and closing times for their gates, so ask neighbours when the buses come and keep the vehicle away from those streets at that hour.
The Extension Road. A Tribune report of 3 May 2026 described an eight-lane widening of the road, with drains and footpaths added, under a traffic management plan. If your home faces that road, check the frontage the day before; our costs guide covers where a truck can wait on that side.
Put together, a Sushant Lok 2 loading window usually means arriving after 10 am, leaving before 5 pm, Monday to Saturday, within whatever your block allows. In the monsoon months, the Sushant Lok 2 season guide explains why a spare date helps.
Which dated rules apply to goods bound for Delhi or Noida?
Three, all in force around the date of this guide. A road move from Gurgaon to Noida normally passes through Delhi, so they matter for both.
- Winter, 1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027. Vehicles that are not BS-VI and are registered outside Delhi face entry limits in the capital over these three months, UNI reported on 26 October 2026. Unless the vehicle runs on CNG, LNG or electricity, get its BS-VI status written into the booking.
- Entry charge since May 2026. Since a Delhi Gazette notice of 4 May 2026, a light goods vehicle or two-axle truck pays an Environment Compensation Charge of Rs 2,000 to enter, a truck of three or more axles pays Rs 4,000, and both rise 5 per cent a year, according to The Tribune.
- GRAP Stage I from 21 October 2026. CAQM's sub-committee switched on Stage I for the whole NCR that day, Akashvani reported. Stricter stages bring tighter curbs on goods traffic, so look up the current stage the evening before.

Which answers should you have before you fix a date?
- To do: Whether your block's RWA or guards set any move hours, and on which days
- To do: At The Surya Apartments, the move form, the goods gate and any fee or deposit, in writing
- To do: The tenant form filed at the Sector 55/56 station, with the receipt
- To do: A written line from the owner on any notice against the building
- To do: Fittings list, meter photo and final bills agreed with the owner
- To do: The vehicle number sent to the guard two days ahead
- To do: A slot from 10 am, finished by 5 pm, on a weekday or Saturday, clear of school-gate hours
- To do: For Delhi or Noida, the vehicle's BS-VI status and the entry charge in the booking

Do these rules change what the move costs?
Not the band; they change how the day runs. The owner's indicative ranges from October 2026, printed on our Gurgaon page, are unaffected by which office signs. What can push a quote higher inside its band is a short slot, a long carry from wherever the vehicle is allowed to wait, or a Delhi delivery that needs a particular vehicle.
