Sushant Lok 2 is the second phase of the Sushant Lok colonies, and its addresses fall in two sectors. Gurugram Public School is at Plot 5, Sushant Lok II, Sector 55, while Shalom Presidency School lists Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 56, Sushant Lok Phase II. The Sector 55–56 station, opened on 31 March 2017, is the terminus of the Rapid Metro line along Golf Course Road.

With two schools in the colony, a lot of households here have children, and the date of a move tends to follow the school year. We can spread packing over two days so the kitchen, uniforms and schoolbooks stay usable until the final evening, then load the children's rooms last so they come off the truck first.

Rain needs a plan as well. In July 2024 The Tribune reported water three to four feet deep on Sushant Lok roads after a downpour, with water entering ground floors and basements across Sushant Lok 2 and 3 and around 600 families affected. Planning a Family Move in Sushant Lok 2

On the ground in Sushant Lok 2 Golf Course Road

  1. Around the school year

    Many families move in the summer holidays or between terms. Tell us the last school day and any exam dates, and we fix packing so it does not clash with them.

  2. Stairs or a lift

    Builder floors here differ: some have a lift that takes a fridge standing up, others only a staircase. We note which at the survey and size the crew for the carry.

  3. Basements and ground floors first

    These are the rooms rain reaches. We pack them at the start, keep cartons raised off the floor and get them onto the truck before anything else.

  4. A carton for each child

    Every child gets a named carton with bedding, a lamp and school things. It travels last and is unloaded first, so bedtime at the new home is easy.

  5. Before the evening rush

    Golf Course Road ends near the colony and carries on as the Extension Road. We aim to finish loading before the evening build-up on that stretch.

  6. When the new flat is late

    If the next home is not ready by the end of term, furniture and cartons can wait in our warehouse, sealed and listed, until it is.

Which Landmarks and Roads Matter for a Sushant Lok 2 Move?

Sushant Lok 2 sits around the corner where Golf Course Road turns into the Extension Road. These points shape a route in or out.

  1. Marengo Asia Hospitals

    The hospital gives its address as Golf Course Extension Road, Sushant Lok II, Sector 56. We keep its entrance clear and never stand a truck where ambulances turn in.

  2. Scottish High International School

    The school's address reads Block G, Sushant Lok 2, Sector 57, so the phase reaches into a third sector. Sushant Lok 3 also has a G Block, so give us your phase, block and sector together.

  3. Golf Course Road T-point at Ghata

    One of five junctions where GMDA was weighing a flyover or underpass in October 2025. Any works there would affect the quickest way from the colony onto the Extension Road.

  4. Metro plans beyond Sector 55–56

    A detailed plan to carry the metro on from the Sector 55–56 station to Pachgaon was ready in September 2025, with construction due in 2029. For now, the Rapid Metro still ends at the colony's edge.

Homes we move

Builder Floors and Rebuilt Plots in Sushant Lok 2

Homes in Sushant Lok 2 are mostly floors in houses on separate plots, and some plots have been rebuilt as stilt-plus-four buildings with parking at ground level. In August 2023 the town planning department named Sushant Lok Phase II in a drive against such buildings being run as guest houses and other businesses.

Each kind of building changes the day. In a stilt-plus-four block the stilt is usually full of residents' cars, so ask neighbours the evening before to leave a bay near the entrance. In an older house, find out whether the staircase is shared with another floor, because the carry then has to fit around the other family.

What Neighbours and the RWA Need to Know

  • A word with the guard or RWA

    Where a block has a guard post or an active residents' association, tell them the date, the truck number and the hours. A truck they expect is waved through instead of being stopped at the barrier.

  • Space in the lane

    Ask the neighbours on either side to keep the kerb outside your gate clear from early morning. A truck that can stand at the gate saves a long carry down the lane.

  • Landlord walk-through

    For a rented floor, walk the rooms with the landlord before the truck leaves and agree what stays, such as geysers, fans and fitted wardrobes, so nothing fixed is packed by mistake.

When to move

When Should a Sushant Lok 2 Family Move?

School calendars can move at short notice. In May 2026 Haryana declared summer vacation in state schools from 25 May to 30 June after an orange alert for severe heatwave. Private schools set their own dates, so check yours; if the break starts early, the best moving weeks start early too.

Those weeks are also the hottest of the year. We start loading at first light, keep electronics and medicines out of the sun and aim to have the truck moving before the afternoon.

After the summer break comes the rain. In August 2025 The Tribune named Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension among stretches that flood year after year, so a move in July or August needs a fallback date.
