Much of Sector 82 belongs to the Vatika India Next township, which Vatika describes as a 20-minute signal-free drive from IFFCO Chowk. A Square Yards list of Sector 82 projects is dominated by low-rise homes: Vatika Primrose, Iris and Emilia floors, Vatika Signature Villas, and the Mapsko Casa Bella villas. Taller blocks are in the mix too, among them Mapsko Casa Bella apartments, Mapsko Royale Ville, Raheja Royalty, Universal Aura and Vatika Seven Lamps, all listed as ready.

Sector 82A leans higher. DLF The Primus has nine towers of 32 storeys on about 12.5 acres, and Vatika Sovereign Next is a ready society on 7.5 acres. The sector is also getting new plotted homes. Vatika's Horizon 82 sells plots under the state's DDJAY scheme, about 500 metres from NH-48, with internal streets of 20-foot carriageways and houses of up to four floors.

Different Homes, Different Plans in Sector 82

The building you live in decides more about the move than the address does.

On the ground in Sector 82 New Gurgaon & Dwarka Expressway

  1. Builder floors and stairs

    Many Vatika floors are low-rise. If there is no lift, or the lift is too small for a fridge or sofa, we plan a stair carry with extra crew and corner guards.

  2. Narrow plotted lanes

    Where internal streets are about 20 feet wide, a large truck may block the lane. We bring a smaller vehicle to the door and transfer at a wider road if needed.

  3. Villas with outdoor pieces

    Garden furniture, planters and terrace items need their own packing. List them at the survey so they get space on the truck.

  4. High-rise towers in 82A

    In a 32-storey tower, the service lift booking sets the pace. We confirm the slot and protect the lift car before the first carton goes down.

  5. Township and society rules

    Gate passes and move timings can come from the township office or from your own society. Find out which, and share the rules with us.

Finding your way

Markets and Reference Points Inside Sector 82's Township

Inside Vatika India Next, homes are found by block and street, and a few shared places help a driver get his bearings.

  1. Town Square, Sector 82A

    Vatika's Town Square is a market of about three acres, some 500 metres from NH-48, with more than 100 working stores, from grocers and chemists to banks, and underground parking for 400 cars. Most residents give directions from it. Its drop-off bays are for shoppers, so the truck waits elsewhere.

  2. Block-and-street addresses

    Addresses in the plotted parts are written by block and street; one preschool, for example, lists itself at Street F5, Sector 82. Send us the block, street and house number, not just the sector, so the driver does not circle the lanes.

  3. Township post office and Aadhaar office

    Vatika says the township runs its own post office, police post and Aadhaar office. After the move, they make updating the address on your documents a short trip.

Homes we move

Big Societies and Plotted Homes in Sector 82

Mapsko Casa Bella is two projects under one name. The Square Yards project list shows 956 apartments on about 19 acres and, separately, 44 villas of four and five bedrooms. Mapsko Royale Ville adds 479 flats on about 12 acres. In compounds that size, several families may want the same month-end weekend, so we lock the lift booking first and the crew second.

On the same list, Vatika Seven Lamps spans the widest range, with 606 homes from one to five bedrooms on about 12 acres, and Universal Aura has 596 flats of two to four bedrooms. A one-bedroom tenant and a five-bedroom owner in the same complex need very different crews, which is why we ask for the flat size and floor, not only the society name.

The rest of the township is plotted land: Vatika counts 2,010 plots across Vatika India Next, many of them built up as independent floors. There the truck parks on a residential street, and where a neighbour's car stands can decide where we load.

What Sector 82 Societies Ask Before a Shift

  • File the request early

    A Gurgaon movers' guide from March 2026 says RWAs commonly want the NOC request one to three days before the shift. Ask your society, or the township office for plotted homes, what lead time it works to.

  • Weekday daytime slots

    The same guide lists "no shifting on weekends" and a 10 am to 6 pm window among common RWA rules. If your society follows them, plan a weekday and give us the exact hours in writing.

  • Builder floors: warn the other households

    An independent floor rarely has a society office; the staircase and the parking in front are shared with the other floors. Tell those households the date so the stairs and the kerb are clear when we arrive.

When to move

Choosing a Moving Date in Sector 82

Owners moving into a villa or a new floor often want a griha pravesh date. One online panchang, Astroyogi, lists no griha pravesh muhurat in August, September or October 2026 because of Chaturmas, then six dates in November and eight in December. Panchangs differ, so check with your own priest, and tell us the date as soon as it is fixed.

Leave room in the rainy season. In July 2026 a LocalCircles survey reported by The Tribune found Gurugram residents the most critical of five NCR cities about waterlogging preparedness, and the report recalled the NH-48 cave-in near Narsinghpur. For a monsoon move out of Sector 82 we keep the date flexible by a day and wrap furniture for wet loading.

Vatika lists Sectors 81, 82, 82A, 83, 84 and 85 as part of the township. Some societies in Sector 82, such as Mapsko and Raheja projects, are by other builders and run their own rules.

Often only a smaller one. Vatika says Horizon 82's internal streets have 20-foot carriageways, so we plan a smaller vehicle for the last stretch where a big truck would block the lane.
