Shifting Within or Near Sector 82: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

House shifting that starts in Sector 82 and ends elsewhere in Gurgaon falls within the price ranges our owner fixed for October 2026: Rs 4,500–7,000 for a one-bedroom home, Rs 8,000–12,500 for two bedrooms and Rs 12,000–15,000 for three. What decides the position within each range is mostly the building, because Sector 82 mixes Vatika's independent floors, Mapsko towers that Square Yards puts at 25 floors, and four- and five-bedroom villas that sit outside the bands altogether.

What does house shifting in Sector 82 cost?

The ranges below are the owner's, fixed in October 2026 and given before anyone has seen your home; our Gurgaon city page carries the same figures. The middle column shows where common Sector 82 homes fit, using the sizes on Square Yards' project pages as we read them on 24 October 2026.

The same price list puts a car within 50 km at Rs 9,000–11,500 and a motorbike at Rs 3,000–7,000; the car transport page covers how a vehicle is carried. Intercity bands are in the Gurgaon charges guide.

Read the sizes as a portal's figures, not measurements, since quoted areas can include common space. They still help: a three-bedroom of 1,790 sq ft usually holds more and heavier furniture than a compact one, so list the big pieces before the survey rather than on the day.

Floor, tower or villa: where do the crew's hours go?

On a move that stays within New Gurgaon the drive is short, so the hours go into packing, carrying and waiting. Sector 82 has four kinds of home, and each loses time in a different place:

Lane width matters more than people expect. Square Yards describes the Signature Villas as rows along 12-metre internal roads, which usually leaves room for a truck to stand at the gate while cars pass. A 20-foot lane in Horizon 82 is roughly half that width, so a full-size truck parked outside a house there can block the street for everyone.

How many households share each tower?

Divide the homes in a society by its towers and you get a rough sense of how busy each service lift is. On Square Yards' figures:

• Mapsko Casa Bella: 956 homes across 11 towers, about 87 per tower. The same portal's villa page describes the towers as 25 floors each and counts roughly 914 flats, so the true figure sits between about 83 and 87 (check with the office).
• Mapsko Royale Ville: 479 homes in 8 towers, about 60 per tower.
• Universal Aura: 596 homes in 13 towers, about 46 per tower, in two clusters: towers A to G on the west side and H to M on the east.
• DLF The Primus, Sector 82A: nine towers of 32 storeys each, according to NoBroker.

Two things follow. More households per tower means more neighbours wanting the same lift on a month-end Saturday, so the booking matters more than the crew size. And a taller tower means each lift round trip takes longer, so a three-bedroom near the top of a 25-floor Casa Bella block needs a longer slot than the same flat on the fourth floor of an Aura tower. Tell us the tower and floor, not just the society; at Aura, the tower letter also tells the driver which side of the complex to head for.

What does the route out of Sector 82 add?

Usually less than the packing, but it is not nothing:

• NH-48 is close. Vatika's Horizon 82 page puts the project about 500 metres from the highway, so most moves towards central Gurgaon or Jaipur start on it within minutes.
• The Dwarka Expressway is not. On 4 June 2026 PropNewsTime reported that residents of Vatika India Next and nearby sectors still drive a detour of nearly seven kilometres to reach the expressway. Citing GMDA records, it said one link between Sectors 81 and 86 had to be realigned around land that was never acquired, and another between Sectors 92 and 95 could not start because the land had not been handed over. • Delhi rules tighten this month. A Tribune report of 27 October 2025 said Delhi's transport department would admit BS-IV goods vehicles from outside the city only up to 31 October 2026, with GRAP curbs applying on top. Moving next door: what changes at the other end?

Plenty of Sector 82 moves end in a neighbouring sector. The band does not change for a short hop, but the building at the far end can change the plan:

What sits outside the mover's price?

Anything your society or the township office charges. A shifting fee, a refundable deposit against damage to the lift or lobby, and a rule that the lift car must be padded are all set by the office that runs your building and paid to it, not to us. Ask for each in writing with a receipt, and ask both offices if the move starts in a tower and ends on a plotted street. Tolls, by contrast, are part of our quote.

How do you keep a Sector 82 move low in its band?

Cut the time the crew spends waiting, searching or carrying further than they need to:

• To do: For a floor or villa, send the full address with block and street; for a flat, the tower and floor
• To do: Measure the lift door and car, or tell us there is no lift
• To do: Hold the service lift for a single long slot at the old and the new address
• To do: Ask the other households in a builder floor to leave the kerb free on the day
• To do: List garden, terrace and puja-room pieces before the survey
• To do: Request a home survey if you have four or more bedrooms, a villa or a penthouse
• To do: For a Delhi drop after 31 October 2026, make sure the booked truck is a BS-VI model, or one powered by CNG, LNG or a battery
• To do: Sort out furniture that will not fit the new rooms, and sell or donate it before the day
