House shifting within Gurgaon from Sector 45 is priced on three indicative bands that our owner, Radhe Shyam, set for October 2026: a one-bedroom home from Rs 4,500 to Rs 7,000, two bedrooms from Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,500 and three from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000. Because nine in ten rentals here are builder floors, the figure inside each band is decided less by distance than by the staircase or lift, the gate rules and how close the truck can stand to your door.

Our packers and movers in Sector 45 Gurgaon page covers what we plan for in the sector's streets; rents, schools and the PIN belong to the Sector 45 newcomer guide. This post covers money, crew time and access only, with every source read on 5 November 2026.

How much does house shifting in Sector 45 cost?

These are the ranges printed on our Gurgaon city page. None is a fixed fee.

Home Within Gurgaon To Delhi What moves it within the band
Studio or 1 RK From your furniture list From your furniture list Depends on the pieces, not the floor area
1 BHK Rs 4,500 to Rs 7,000 Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 Bottom of the band at ground level; climbs with each flight of stairs
2 BHK Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,500 Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,500 Middle, unless the carry from the truck is long
3 BHK Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 Rs 14,000 to Rs 16,500 Upper half for a full floor with a terrace store
4 BHK or larger Survey first Survey first Whole original houses and large new floors

Vehicles have their own bands for trips up to 50 km: Rs 3,000–7,000 for a two-wheeler and Rs 9,000–11,500 for a car. How every band was built, intercity rows included, is in our Gurgaon charges guide.

Which Sector 45 homes are moving, and where do they fit?

Mostly mid-sized rented floors. The Square Yards Sector 45 page showed 896 homes for rent against 119 for sale. Its split of the rental listings:

Size Share of rental listings Our band (within Gurgaon)
3 BHK 32% Rs 12,000–15,000
2 BHK 25% Rs 8,000–12,500
1 BHK 21% Rs 4,500–7,000
4 BHK 10% Survey first
Studio 7% Quoted on its own
1 RK 6% Quoted on its own
5 BHK 1% Survey first

So about 78 per cent of rentals fall inside one of the three published bands, and roughly one in eight is a studio or single room that may fit a small vehicle. The pull runs the other way, though: one-bedroom homes made up 44 per cent of what renters searched for but only 21 per cent of what was listed. That gap suggests some tenants take a bigger floor than they set out to find, often with less furniture than its rooms suggest. Quote on what you own, not on the size of the floor.

Owners are another matter. Of the homes for sale, 45 per cent were 3 BHK and 44 per cent 4 BHK, and 85 per cent were builder floors. An owner leaving a whole floor or house brings far more than a tenant does, and is surveyed before we name a figure.

Lift or stairs: what uses up crew hours?

The vertical carry. On a builder floor every wardrobe, bed and fridge either fits the lift or goes down the stairs by hand, and the stairs take longer.

Building What takes the time Send us before the survey
Original HUDA house, all floors one family Volume: terrace store, servant room, garage, garden pots A walk-through video including the roof
Older floor with stairs only Hand-carrying each piece down shared stairs Floor number and a photo of the tightest turn
New stilt-plus-four building The lift cabin, if there is one, and the walk through the stilt parking Lift door width and depth, and the largest piece you own
Greenwood City floor The block's own rules plus the stairs or lift What the block association asks for
Room in Kanhai A narrow lane to the door Whether a small vehicle can reach it

Stilt-plus-four buildings need a word. The Tribune reported on 4 September 2024 that RWAs named Sector 45 among sectors where such plots were being split into more flats than planned. In a building like that you may share the stairs, the lift and the frontage with several households, so ask the other flats whether anyone else is moving on your date. Two moves on one staircase on the same morning slow both.

If the new floor is not ready, or your house is being rebuilt, part of your goods can stay in our storage while the rest goes to a rented home.

Do you need a gate pass, and from whom?

It depends on the street. We found no published moving rule or fee for the plotted HUDA streets of Sector 45, nor for any block of Greenwood City.

Greenwood City has changed hands, which affects who to ask. PropertyPistol wrote on 15 September 2022 that the city's municipal corporation became responsible for the colony's roads, water, sewers, parks and streetlights from 29 August 2022; associations of individual blocks spoke to reporters then. The corporation looks after the roads; ask your block association whether it keeps a gate register or charges for a move. Ask its office three questions a week ahead: which gate the truck uses, which hours it allows, and whether a deposit is taken.

For scale only: on 18 September 2026, NoBrokerHood put typical Gurgaon society moving fees somewhere between Rs 500 and Rs 5,000, plus a refundable deposit, where one is taken, of roughly Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000. These are not our charges. Get any figure in writing and keep the receipt.

Where does the truck stand?

As near your gate as the street lets it, which differs from house to house. A stilt car park is built for cars, not a loaded truck, so on a stilt-plus-four building the crew usually loads from the road outside. When parked cars or a narrow frontage push the truck further away, every carton travels further, and on a 3 BHK that walk can be what moves a job from the middle of its band to the top.

Two works on the corridor road matter too:

  1. Metro piling. The line's first pile was cast in Sector 45, Indian Infrastructure wrote on 12 February 2026, the opening step of roughly 3,000 piles and 750 pillars planned from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9. Where barricades close a kerb, the truck may have to wait on a side lane.
  2. Planned flyovers. A Swarajya brief of 30 May 2026, based on a Hindustan Times report, said GMDA wants flyovers at the junctions of Sectors 44-45, 30-41 and 45-46 on that road, subject to its board. Two of those three junctions are on the edge of Sector 45. We found no report of approval by 5 November 2026; if work starts, expect diversions at those corners.

Send us a photo of the street outside your gate in both directions, and we can tell you before the day where the truck will wait.

When can the truck drive?

A Digi Pass explainer from Gurugram Traffic Police, undated and hosted on a GMDA site, names two daily windows in which commercial vehicles without a permit are kept off designated roads: 8–10 am and 5–9 pm. The note says permits for those hours are free, depend on traffic and road capacity, and were first issued for three months at a time. For a house move, the simpler plan is:

  1. Have cartons sealed and stacked the evening before, so loading starts as soon as the truck arrives.
  2. Drive before 8 am, or between 10 am and 5 pm.
  3. For a whole house, spread it over two days, packing first and loading the morning after, rather than racing the 5 pm cut-off.

Our office is closed on Sundays; on the other six days it answers from 8 am to 9 pm, which is when to fix the date.

Where do short moves from Sector 45 go?

Usually next door. The gaps below are measured on OpenStreetMap from the middle of one sector to the middle of the other; by road it is further.

Sector Straight-line gap Our page for it
Sector 40 about 1.0 km Sector 40
Sector 46 about 1.3 km Sector 46
South City I (Sector 41) about 1.4 km South City 1
Sector 52 about 1.5 km Sector 52
Sector 51 about 1.8 km Sector 51
Sector 43 and Sushant Lok 1 about 2.3 km Sushant Lok 1
Sector 47 about 2.8 km Sector 47

Over distances like these the band barely moves with the kilometres, because packing, carrying and setting up take as long for one as for ten. What changes is the other end: a tower brings a lift booking, a builder floor brings another staircase. Plan the day around the harder of the two.

What costs sit outside our bill?

Society charges, covered above, and Delhi's border rules, which apply when the goods go there:

  1. Emission class. Until 31 January 2027, Delhi is turning away vehicles registered elsewhere that do not meet BS-VI, a rule that began on 1 November 2026, UNI reported on 26 October 2026. Ask which standard the truck meets when you book.
  2. Entry charge. Delhi's Environment Compensation Charge went up under a gazette notification of 4 May 2026: the fee for light goods vehicles and two-axle trucks is now Rs 2,000 and for those with three axles or more Rs 4,000, and both figures go up by 5 per cent each April, The Tribune reported. Ask to see it on the quote.
  3. Air-quality stage. The Commission for Air Quality Management invoked Stage II of GRAP across the NCR on 2 November 2026, with Delhi's AQI at 324, Outlook reported. Higher stages add vehicle curbs, so check the stage the evening before.

What can you do to keep a Sector 45 quote low?

  • To do: On the first call, say whether you are leaving an original house, a stilt-plus-four floor, a Greenwood City floor or a Kanhai room
  • To do: Send the floor number, lift door size and a photo of the stair turns
  • To do: Ask the other flats in your building whether anyone else moves that day
  • To do: For Greenwood City, get the block's gate, hours and deposit in writing
  • To do: Photograph the street outside your gate, both ways, for the truck position
  • To do: Finish packing the evening before, so the truck can leave outside the 8–10 am and 5–9 pm spells
  • To do: Delhi delivery? Get the truck's BS standard and the entry charge written into the quote

Household shifting walks through a full packing day.

Key takeaway

On our October 2026 bands, a Sector 45 move within Gurgaon runs from Rs 4,500 to Rs 7,000 at one bedroom up to Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 at three, a range that covers about 78 per cent of the sector's rentals; studio and 1 RK homes get their own quote, and four-bedroom-plus homes a survey. Crew time follows the stairs or lift and the walk from the truck. Ask your Greenwood City block about its gate, keep the drive out of the 8–10 am and 5–9 pm spells, and for Delhi book a BS-VI truck.

Once you know both addresses and the date, ask us for a written quote. This is general information, not a quotation. The bands date from October 2026, and listings, society charges, metro works, truck hours and Delhi's border rules may have changed by your moving day.
