Packers and movers charges in Gurgaon run from about ₹4,500–7,000 for a 1 BHK to ₹12,000–15,000 for a 3 BHK when both homes are in the city, according to the indicative price ranges Maxx Relocation published in October 2026. A 2 BHK sits at ₹8,000–12,500, and a move from Gurgaon to another city starts at ₹7,000–8,000 for a 1 BHK going to Delhi.
These figures are ranges, not a rate card. They were set by our owner, Radhe Shyam, on 3 October 2026, and the same tables appear on our home page. Your own price comes in a written quote built from your goods, both addresses and your date.
How much do packers and movers charge within Gurgaon?
A move inside Gurgaon costs ₹4,500 to ₹15,000 in our indicative ranges, depending mostly on the size of the home.
| Home size | Indicative range within Gurgaon (October 2026) |
|---|---|
| 1 BHK | ₹4,500–7,000 |
| 2 BHK | ₹8,000–12,500 |
| 3 BHK | ₹12,000–15,000 |
The gap inside each range is the room the quote needs for real differences between homes. A 2 BHK on the ground floor of a sector house, with the truck at the gate, is a shorter day than a 2 BHK on the fourth floor of a walk-up, with the truck parked down the lane. Both are "2 BHK in Gurgaon", and both are in the same row of the table. Our page on packers and movers in Gurgaon covers how we handle moves across the city's sectors.
What does it cost to move from Gurgaon to another city?

Indicative ranges in rupees, Maxx Relocation, October 2026. They are for moves starting in Gurgaon; ask for a quote for the opposite direction.
Two patterns stand out. First, on the long routes the step from a 1 BHK to a 2 BHK is steep: to Bengaluru the top of the range roughly doubles, from ₹32,000 to ₹67,000, because a 2 BHK fills far more of the truck over far more kilometres. Second, the nearby routes stay close together: a 3 BHK to Delhi tops out at ₹16,500, only a little above the ₹15,000 ceiling for a 3 BHK within Gurgaon. Each city has its own page with route details, for example Gurgaon to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. For the short hop across the border, see our guide to moving between Delhi and Gurgaon.
What moves a quote up or down within the range?
Five things decide where your quote falls: the floors and lifts, the carry from door to truck, the packing, the distance and the date.
| Factor | Lower in the range | Higher in the range |
|---|---|---|
| Floors and lifts | Ground floor, or a service lift booked for the whole loading | Upper floors of a walk-up; furniture that will not fit the lift |
| Door to truck | The truck stands at the gate | The truck waits on a wider road and goods are carried or shuttled |
| Packing | You pack books and clothes yourself; we pack fragile items | Full packing of every room, extra wrapping or crates for glass and wood |
| Distance | Same sector or next-door sector | Across the city, past toll plazas, or to another state |
| Date and time | A flexible weekday with a clear forecast | A fixed date that has to work round rain, society slots or restricted hours |
Floors and lifts. Stairs are the single biggest swing within a range. Every carton and every piece of furniture has to be carried down one end and up the other, so a walk-up adds crew hours. In a tower, the quote depends on whether the society lets the crew hold the service lift through the loading.
Restricted hours. Timing affects the crew's day too. A Gurugram Traffic Police note hosted by GMDA gives the city's "No Entry Timings" for commercial vehicles on designated areas as 8–10 am and 5–9 pm. Loading has to be planned around those windows, and a move that cannot fit between them may run into a second day.
Weather. The monsoon adds risk to a fixed date. The Tribune reported in August 2025 that around 100 spots in the city flood year after year, despite Rs 500 crore spent on the problem since 2016. A rain delay means a crew and truck standing idle, which is why a flexible date can sit lower in the range.
When can a quote fall outside the range?
A quote can fall below or above the published range when the move does not look like a typical 1, 2 or 3 BHK.
- Below the range: a single room, a studio or a few pieces of furniture, which fit a small vehicle and a short crew time.
- Above the range: a home with more than a 3 BHK's worth of goods, a large house with several store rooms or terraces, a long carry from a lane the truck cannot enter, or several days of packing.
- Added items: a car or bike on the same move (see car transport), or goods kept in storage between two homes, are priced on top.
If your move is unusual in any of these ways, say so when you ask for the quote, so the figure is right the first time.
What should a written moving quote include?
A written quote should name the total and list what that total covers, so nothing can be "added" on the day. Before you accept one, check that it states:
- To do: The company's name, office address, phone number and GST number
- To do: Both addresses, with the floor and whether there is a lift at each end
- To do: A list of the goods, or the volume the quote is based on
- To do: Packing: which items are packed, and with what material
- To do: Labour for loading, unloading and placing furniture in rooms
- To do: Dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes and other furniture
- To do: The vehicle, tolls and any charges for the route
- To do: Transit insurance or cover, if offered, and what it costs
- To do: GST, shown as a separate line
- To do: The advance asked for, and when the balance is due
On the day, the crew should give you a goods list and a receipt that carries the company's name, and you should keep a copy until everything has been unpacked.
What are the red flags for hidden charges?
The common warning sign is a low phone quote that grows once your goods are on the truck. Watch for these:
- A price without a look at your home. A mover who quotes a 3 BHK without asking about floors, lifts or furniture has not priced your move; the real price arrives later.
- Per-kg or "per item" pricing. It is hard to check and easy to inflate after loading.
- "Floor charges" or "carry charges" added at unloading. If the floors are on the written quote, they are already priced.
- Insurance or tax added at the end. GST and any insurance belong on the written quote, not in a demand at the new address.
- A full cash advance. Pay a part in advance and the rest on delivery, and pay to a company account, not a personal one.
- No company details. No office address, no GST number, or a phone number that changes between calls.
- A claim that your household goods need an e-way bill. The CGST Rules list used personal and household effects among the goods that need none, so this should never be a reason for an extra fee on a home move.
If a mover holds your goods and demands more than the written quote, the National Consumer Helpline of the Department of Consumer Affairs takes complaints on 1915, from 8 am to 8 pm, and on WhatsApp at +91 88000 01915. In an emergency, dial 112.
Tip
Photograph the signed quote and the goods list before loading starts. If there is a dispute, those two pages are your evidence.
How do you get a written quote from Maxx Relocation?
Tell us three things: what is moving, both addresses with floors and lifts, and your moving date. Send them through the quote form or contact us by phone or WhatsApp, and you get a written quote with no obligation to book. For a home move, our household shifting page explains how the day runs, from packing to placing furniture in the new rooms.
This article is general information. The price ranges are indicative and can change; your written quote is the figure that applies to your move.
