House shifting in Sector 54 is priced on our owner's indicative October 2026 bands when the new address is also in Gurgaon: a one-bedroom home moves for Rs 4,500–7,000, while a two-bedroom home needs Rs 8,000–12,500; for a three-bedroom home the band is Rs 12,000–15,000. About half of the homes rented out in Sector 54 are bigger than that table reaches, though, so for a typical four-bedroom flat, floor or villa the price comes from a survey, and the hours depend on the lift, the stairs and when the truck may stand near your door.

Gate passes, service lifts and loading from a Suncity plot are covered on the service page for our packers and movers in Sector 54 Gurgaon. This post sticks to three questions: what you can price in advance, how the type of home changes the hours, and how a loaded truck gets in and out of the sector.

What does house shifting in Sector 54 cost?

Radhe Shyam, who owns the business, set these ranges in October 2026; the same figures sit on our Gurgaon city page.

Home Within Gurgaon How we price it Into Delhi
Room, 1 RK or PG bed Below the 1 BHK band After a call or photos Below the 1 BHK band
1 BHK, one bedroom Rs 4,500–7,000 Priced from the band Rs 7,000–8,000
2 BHK, two bedrooms Rs 8,000–12,500 Priced from the band Rs 10,000–13,500
3 BHK, three bedrooms Rs 12,000–15,000 Priced from the band Rs 14,000–16,500
3.5 BHK, 4 BHK or larger, penthouse, villa No published band After a survey, on site or by video No published band
Car, trips under 50 km Rs 9,000–11,500 From the band The same band applies
Bike, trips under 50 km Rs 3,000–7,000 From the band The same band applies

Each band is a range, not a fixed fee: where a home lands inside it depends on the lift, the stairs and the walk to the truck. For how the ranges are built, see our Gurgaon charges guide. A car that travels with you goes through our car transport service.

Why do so many Sector 54 homes need a survey?

Because of what the sector is made of. On the Square Yards Sector 54 page, read on 28 October 2026, the homes listed for rent broke down like this:

Size Share of rental listings Where it sits in our table
1 RK 7% Quoted on its own
1 BHK and 1.5 BHK 13% 1 BHK band; a 1.5 BHK after a call
2 BHK 5% 2 BHK band
3 BHK 29% 3 BHK band
3.5 BHK 11% Survey
4 BHK 31% Survey
5 BHK and 6 BHK 9% Survey

Add the last three rows and about half of the rental stock (51%) is larger than our largest published band. Only about a quarter is two bedrooms or smaller. So Sector 54 sits at two ends: big family flats and floors on one side, single rooms and small flats on the other, with few two-bedroom homes in between.

The project list on the same page explains the big end. Square Yards gives The Belaire as four-bedroom flats only, The Grove as four- and five-bedroom independent floors, Emaar's Palm Spring Villas as five-bedroom villas, and The Crest, Suncity Heights and Emaar The Palm Springs as three- to five-bedroom flats with penthouses. DLF's own luxury homes page lists The Crest as high-rise flats of "3 BHK and above" and The Grove as low-rise floors. By property type, Square Yards counted 63% apartments, 23% builder floors, 6% villas and 1% penthouses among the rentals.

That is why a survey is not a formality here. A 4 BHK with a study, a staff room and a furnished terrace can hold far more than a plain 4 BHK in the same tower, and only a look at the rooms shows that.

Which Sector 54 homes take the longest to load?

Not in the drive, which is short for most moves. It goes on how goods reach the truck.

Home How goods leave What eats the hours What to tell us
Tower flat (The Crest, The Belaire, Palm Springs, Suncity Heights) Service lift to a loading point Lift trips, and waiting for the lift if other residents book it The lift slot you have, and the lift's door and car size
Penthouse Service lift, sometimes a stair to the top level An internal stair or a terrace with planters and outdoor furniture What sits on the terrace, and whether the lift reaches your level
Low-rise floor, such as The Grove Stairs or a small lift Large pieces carried down by hand when the lift is too small The floor, and whether wardrobes are fitted or free-standing
Villa or plotted house Several rooms on several levels Collecting from every level, plus garden and store rooms A room-by-room list, including the basement and roof
Suncity floor or house Stairs to the street The walk from the door to wherever the truck can stop Who parks outside your gate, and when
Room, 1 RK or PG bed One trip down a stair Very little; often the parking takes longer than the loading The landlord's rules on moving times

In a tower flat of four bedrooms, the number of lift trips decides the crew size more than the floor area does. The Sector 54 service page describes how we split such a job, with one team packing in the flat while another works between the lift and the truck. In a villa the bottleneck moves to the doorway and the drive, so the plan changes again.

How does a truck get in and out of Sector 54?

Through gates and service lanes, never by stopping on the main road. Three things decide the timing.

The city's no-entry windows. Gurugram Traffic Police bar commercial vehicles from designated roads twice a day, 8 am to 10 am and again 5 pm to 9 pm, according to their Vehicle Movement Digi Pass note on GMDA's site. Because that note is undated, we confirm the hours before each move. That leaves a seven-hour gap in the middle of the day, and your society's move hours have to fit inside it.

What fits in seven hours. The larger the home, the less of the gap is left once packing spills into loading day. So for a Sector 54 tower we pack in the days before, and when the society's window is short we send more hands so loading ends inside it. Our office is closed on Sundays, so plan a large move for Monday to Saturday.

AIT Chowk. The usual bottleneck is this junction, shared by Sectors 53, 54, 55 and 56. In May 2025 The Tribune reported that GMDA had drawn up an underpass proposal after a request from the traffic police, and that it still needed approval. When we checked on 28 October 2026 we found no report of approval or a start date, so for now the junction stays signalled and the truck is timed to clear it outside office peaks.

Rain changes the picture in July and August. Square Yards lists waterlogging near Sector 54 Chowk among the sector's drawbacks, and our Sector 54 monsoon post has the dated reports. For the society's own hours and passes, read the Sector 54 rules post.

Where do short moves from Sector 54 usually go?

Mostly to the sectors that share its junctions. We measured these straight lines on 28 October 2026 between the centre points OpenStreetMap gives each sector; road distance is longer.

Destination Straight line from Sector 54 Band What changes at the far end
Sector 53 about 1.4 km Gurgaon A second society office, lift and slot
Sector 42 about 1.6 km Gurgaon Another Phase 5 condominium; see our DLF Phase 5 page
Sector 55 about 1.6 km Gurgaon Builder floors with stairs; see our Sector 55 page
Sector 56 about 2.2 km Gurgaon Society flat or floor; see our Sector 56 page
Sector 43 about 2.9 km Gurgaon Tower or floor; see our Sector 43 page
Sector 57 about 3.7 km Gurgaon See our Sector 57 page

A short hop does not shrink the bill by much, because packing, carrying and unloading take the same hours whatever the distance. What it does save is road time, which matters when the slot at the new tower is tight. Our Golf Course Road costs post looks at the whole corridor.

The nearest of our offices is the DLF Phase 3 branch in Sector 24, about 5.9 km from the centre of Sector 54 as the crow flies, which keeps a survey visit short.

What changes if the new home is in Delhi?

The band changes, and so do the truck rules. A Delhi destination uses the Delhi column above. Then two dated rules apply:

  • Between 1 November 2026 and 31 January 2027, Delhi turns away any vehicle below BS-VI that carries an outside registration, though CNG and electric vehicles are exempt, according to WION Drive on 23 October 2026. The same report says a relaxation that let certain older goods vehicles in ends on 31 October 2026.
  • During Delhi's restricted hours, a truck must carry a No Entry Permission, which the Delhi Traffic Police FAQ says is applied for online, or in writing for up to seven days.

So when you book a November or December move into Delhi, ask which BS class the truck meets and where it was registered. Our Delhi–Gurgaon moving guide covers routes and timing.

What keeps a Sector 54 move at the lower end?

Removing the waiting before the day starts:

  • To do: Book the service lift for the full loading span at both ends, in writing
  • To do: Check your largest sofa, bed and dining table against the lift's door and car
  • To do: Write a room-by-room list, including the study, staff room, terrace and store
  • To do: For a villa or floor, tell us where the truck can stand and who parks there
  • To do: Finish packing the day before, so loading fits between 10 am and 5 pm
  • To do: Give away or sell what you won't take before the survey, not after it
  • To do: Moving to Delhi after 31 October 2026? Ask for the truck's BS class
  • To do: In the monsoon, keep a second date free

If you get the new keys after the old lease runs out, goods can be kept in storage, and our household shifting page describes the packing work.

Key takeaway

Our October 2026 bands cover Sector 54 homes up to three bedrooms; about half the sector's rentals are larger and are priced after a survey. Crew time follows the home type: lift trips in towers, stairs in low-rise floors, many rooms in villas. Load between the 10 am and 5 pm no-entry gaps, and check the truck's emission class for Delhi after 31 October 2026.

Once both addresses and the date are fixed, share them with us for a written price in reply. Everything above is general information for planning: its rupee ranges are indicative October 2026 figures, not quotes, and listing shares, traffic hours and Delhi's rules can change by the time you move.
