Moving to Sector 54 means choosing between two quite different addresses that share one sector number: the gated DLF and Emaar towers along Golf Course Road, and Suncity Township to the south, with its plots, smaller apartment blocks and single rooms. Renters will find homes from about Rs 3,000 a month for a room to over Rs 3 lakh for a large flat, with two Rapid Metro stations, a primary school and Suncity School all close by.

Which part of Sector 54 suits you?
Start here, because the two halves are lived in differently. Square Yards' Sector 54 overview lists DLF The Crest, DLF The Dahlias, Emaar The Palm Springs, DLF Summit Plaza and DLF The Belaire as the sector's best-known projects. NoBroker's locality page names Suncity among its sub-localities, and its rental listings tag Suncity Township flats, Aravali Homes and single-room units to the same sector.

What does rent cost in Sector 54?
It depends almost entirely on which half you rent in. NoBroker's Sector 54 rentals page, labelled October 2026 and read on 23 October 2026, gave these bands:

NoBroker also gave deposits of Rs 14,750 to 7,23,750 and monthly maintenance of Rs 1,550 to 21,799 for society flats, against deposits of Rs 15,000 to 2,80,000 for independent houses. Read the bands with care. The same portal's locality page, quoting April 2026, put a 3 BHK at just Rs 25,000 to 40,000, which matches none of the tower listings it showed. No single number here is a quote; weigh each against the asking rents of flats you walk through yourself.
Before you sign, read who pays maintenance, how many months' deposit is refundable, and the notice period. In a tower, ask whether the society charges a move-in fee; our Sector 54 rules post explains what one local association publishes about moving goods.
Which PIN code should you write?
Settle this in your first week, because four numbers circulate for one sector. On 23 October 2026 we checked all four against India Post's office list, using a public lookup service:

All four are working delivery offices, so a letter may still arrive whichever you use, but bank and Aadhaar records should match exactly. The safest course is to find a recent electricity bill or parcel label addressed to your flat, through the landlord or estate office, and use the number printed on it for the lease, the bank and every school form.
Which police station covers the sector?
The Sector-53 Police Station. Gurugram Police list its area as Sectors 52, 52-A, 53 and 54 and the village of Wazirabad, in the East police district. On OpenStreetMap it sits about 1.4 km from the centre of Sector 54. Your landlord should complete tenant verification with this station; ask for a copy of the submitted form for your own records, and save the emergency number 112 in every phone.
Where can children go to school?
Several schools are within a short drive. We measured these on 23 October 2026 as the crow flies from the middle of Sector 54's outline on OpenStreetMap; by road each trip is longer. The two preschool distances are Square Yards' own.
- Govt Model Sanskriti Primary School: about 0.5 km, the nearest government option on the map.
- The Shri Ram Wonder Years and Vallores Pre School: about 0.6 km and 0.7 km, according to Square Yards.
- Suncity School: about 0.9 km. Square Yards also lists Suncity World School about 1 km away.
- Lancers International School: about 1.6 km.
- Ambience Public School, Sector 43: about 2 km.
Portal school lists are not always local. NoBroker's rentals page names Jawahar Bal Bhavan among "schools in Sector 54", for example, which is not a Gurugram school. Arriving mid-session? Ask each admissions office about seats in your child's class, the transfer certificate and whether its buses stop at your gate before you commit to a lease.
Where are the nearest hospital and chemists?
On OpenStreetMap, the closest hospital, roughly 1 km from the middle of the sector, is labelled Shalby International Hospital. This is the former Sanar International: in 2024 Digital Health News reported that Shalby was buying 87.26% of the company that runs it. Check its current name and emergency number before you need it. The district hospital list places Alchemist Hospital in Sector 53 and Artemis in Sector 51. Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital is about 1.6 km away. Square Yards lists Apollo Pharmacy among the chemists in the area.
Where do you shop and get around?
Daily needs are close on both sides. OpenStreetMap marks SunCity Market about 0.7 km from the centre, and Square Yards places Suncity Shopping Complex about 0.9 km away. Nature's Basket, Le Marche and South Point Mall are each about 1.3 km away. One NoBroker tenant review from May 2025 called daily essentials "a bit pricey", so a weekly shop further afield may suit a tight budget.
For the commute, the two Rapid Metro stops, Sector 53-54 and Sector 54 Chowk, are each about 1.2 km from the centre point; tower residents on Golf Course Road are nearer, Suncity homes further. Square Yards' list of drawbacks mentions waterlogging near Sector 54 Chowk after rain; our Sector 54 monsoon post gathers the dated reports.
What should you settle in your first week?
- To do: Copy the PIN from a delivered bill and use it on every form.
- To do: Make sure your tenant verification reaches the Sector-53 station, and file away a copy.
- To do: In a tower, book the service lift for move-in day in writing; in Suncity, ask neighbours to keep the kerb clear.
- To do: Photograph the electricity meter on day one and check whose name the connection is in.
- To do: Try the morning school drop at its real hour, and the route to the hospital once at night.
- To do: Find out where drinking water comes from and whether the building stores it.
- To do: Save the numbers of the estate office or owner, the guard and a local electrician.
What does a move into Sector 54 cost?
Our owner's indicative figures, dated October 2026, start from the size of your home. Inside Gurgaon, a one-bedroom move is budgeted at Rs 4,500 minimum and Rs 7,000 maximum; two bedrooms, Rs 8,000 minimum and Rs 12,500 maximum; three bedrooms, Rs 12,000 minimum and Rs 15,000 maximum. Starting in Delhi, the same sizes cost Rs 7,000–8,000 (one bedroom), Rs 10,000–13,500 (two) and Rs 14,000–16,500 (three).
