Moving to Sector 32 means settling into a busy, mixed sector beside Rajiv Chowk, where office plots, shops and SCO blocks outnumber homes, so most newcomers end up renting a builder floor, a studio or a flat in one of a few older societies. It works well for renters who want quick access to NH-48, Sohna Road and Medanta, and less well for families who want quiet lanes and a metro station on the doorstep.

This guide is for the first weeks after you arrive. It covers the kinds of homes on offer, what two property portals say about rent, a PIN code mix-up worth settling early, the nearest schools, hospitals and shops, and a checklist for your first fortnight. We read every source on 22 October 2026, and each figure carries its date.

What kind of homes will you find in Sector 32?

Fewer than you might expect. Much of the sector is an institutional area of numbered office plots; our post on office shifting in Sector 32 describes those buildings. Homes sit around them in a few forms, and each one changes what you check on a viewing.

Kind of home What the sources say Check on your first visit
Builder floors On the Square Yards page, builder floors made up 88% of the rental supply Which floor, whether there is a lift, and where a car or tempo can stop
Studios and 1 BHKs Together they were about two-thirds of Square Yards' rental supply by size Whether the unit is a self-contained flat or a room with a shared kitchen
Split-level society flats Raheja Atlantis, which its developer places in Sectors 31 and 32, describes every apartment as split-level, with a double-level basement for parking The internal stair inside the flat: a sofa or bed may have to be taken apart to reach the upper level
Older apartment blocks Square Yards lists Ansal Silver Crest, with 2 BHK flats, among ready projects in the sector Society rules for move-in hours and the service lift
Rooms above shops A tenant reviewing the sector on NoBroker in September 2025 described renting a 1 RK above a shop Noise from the market, water supply and a separate meter

Two habits help in a mixed sector like this. First, read the address on any listing closely, because portals often group Sector 32 with Sector 31, 32A or Jharsa. Second, visit once in the morning and once after dark. NoBroker reviewers described lanes that are calm early in the day and noisy once the market gets going, and you will want to hear that for yourself.

What does rent cost in Sector 32?

Two portals give two different pictures, and both are thin.

Source, read 22 Oct 2026 What it shows
NoBroker average rents About Rs 15,000 a month for a 1 BHK, Rs 22,500 for a 2 BHK, Rs 35,000 or more for a 3 BHK
NoBroker locality comparison Only 6 homes for rent and 9 for sale listed for the sector that day
Square Yards rental supply by budget 2% below Rs 15,000; 28% from Rs 15,000 to 30,000; 47% from Rs 30,000 to 50,000; 24% above Rs 50,000
Square Yards listing count 197 properties for rent tagged to Sector 32

The gap between the two is not surprising. NoBroker's averages sit beside only a handful of live listings, while Square Yards counts every builder floor and furnished unit tagged to the sector, including those at the top of the market. Neither is a quote. Use them to judge whether an asking rent is in a sensible range, then compare it with two or three homes you have actually seen.

When you sign, read the deposit, the notice period and who pays for maintenance. If the home is in a society, ask whether the move-in charge and any refundable deposit are payable to the society or to the landlord; our Sector 31 rules post covers what neighbouring societies ask for on moving day.

Which PIN code should you use?

Settle this before you change any address. Square Yards gives Sector 32's PIN as 122001, while NoBroker's page gives 122022. We ran both numbers through a public lookup of India Post's directory on 22 October 2026. It returned no post office at all for 122022. For 122001 it listed a dozen offices, including Gurgaon South City I and Urban Estate (Gurgaon), both close to the sector.

Our reading is that 122001 is the safer choice, but check it. Ask the landlord for a recent electricity bill or a letter delivered to the house, and use the PIN printed there. Then keep it identical on your rent agreement, bank address, Aadhaar update and any school forms, so that documents match when you need them.

Which schools are close to Sector 32?

Mapped schools near the sector are mostly within walking or short auto distance. These distances are straight lines from the centre point OpenStreetMap gives for Sector 32, measured on 22 October 2026, so the road distance will be longer.

  • CR Model Public School: about 0.45 km, and inside the sector's outline.
  • DPS Infant Wing, Sector 40: about 1.2 km.
  • Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Sohna Road: about 1.4 km. Read its current admission notice before you count on a seat.
  • Ryan International School: about 1.6 km.
  • Manav Rachna International School, Sector 46: about 2 km.

Portals print longer lists, but some of them repeat the same names for every sector, so treat them as a starting point only. Arriving mid-year? Phone the admissions office first and ask whether there are seats in your child's class, which papers they need from the old school, and how long a transfer certificate takes.

Where are the nearest hospitals and chemists?

Medical care is one of the sector's strengths. Medanta, on CH Baktawar Singh Road in Sector 38, is close by. Closer still, OpenStreetMap marks Pushpanjali Hospital about 1 km from the sector's centre, Samvit Health Care about 1.3 km and Aarvy Hospital about 1.7 km. In your first week, drive the route to the emergency entrance of the one you would use at night, and save its phone number. If your employer's insurance has a list of cashless hospitals, check which of these are on it.

How do you get around without a car?

By auto, cab or bus for the first stretch. No metro line runs through Sector 32. The closest station is Millennium City Centre in Sector 29, where Delhi Metro's Yellow Line ends; it opened on 21 June 2010, and from there trains run north towards Delhi. NoBroker's locality map shows bus stops at Rajiv Chowk and Jharsa Chowk. One owner reviewing the sector on NoBroker in September 2025 said the lack of a metro put some families off, so test your commute before you commit.

The junction itself may change. On 17 June 2026 Swarajya reported that NHAI had finalised a draft feasibility report for two flyovers at Rajiv Chowk, needing about 3.05 hectares of land, with the second structure planned to start at Sector 32 and carry traffic towards the Sohna highway. The proposal was still to go to the state government, so there is no start date yet. Expect roadworks near the chowk at some point in your lease, and check the news before you plan a long stay around today's traffic.

Rain is the other thing to plan for. Rajiv Chowk has a long record of flooding in heavy showers; our Sector 32 monsoon post gathers the dated reports.

Where do you shop for daily needs?

Small shops, eateries and tea stalls are close at hand; bigger shopping takes a short drive. OpenStreetMap shows a Reliance Fresh about 1.2 km from the sector's centre and Star Mall about 2 km away. A tenant on NoBroker wrote in September 2025 that malls and larger restaurants meant travelling further. For a weekly shop, ask neighbours which market they use and at what hour it is least crowded.

What should you settle in your first fortnight?

  • To do: Confirm the PIN from a bill or a letter delivered to the house, and use it everywhere.
  • To do: In a split-level flat, measure the internal stair and list any furniture that must come apart.
  • To do: Book the society's service lift or goods entrance for moving day, in writing.
  • To do: Ask the landlord to complete tenant police verification, and keep a copy.
  • To do: See the last electricity bill and ask whose name the meter is in.
  • To do: Drive the school run at 8 am and the hospital route at night once each.
  • To do: Transfer your gas connection, or book a new one, with your distributor.
  • To do: Save the numbers of the society office, the building guard and a local electrician.

What does a move into Sector 32 cost?

For a move from elsewhere in Gurgaon, our owner's October 2026 indications are Rs 4,500 to 7,000 for a one-bedroom home, Rs 8,000 to 12,500 for two bedrooms and Rs 12,000 to 15,000 for three. In this sector the figure moves most with the lift: a booked service lift and a short walk to the truck keep it low, while a split-level flat with an inner stair or a builder floor without a lift adds crew time. Our Gurgaon charges guide explains the bands and intercity prices.

Key takeaway

Sector 32 is a commercial sector with homes tucked between office plots and shops: builder floors, studios, a few older societies and split-level flats. Settle the PIN before you change addresses, compare rents from more than one portal, note how close Medanta and several schools are, and expect a flyover project at Rajiv Chowk in the coming years.

When your date and both addresses are fixed, send them to us for a written figure. This guide is general information drawn from the sources above as they stood on 22 October 2026. Rents, school seats, PIN records and road plans all change, so confirm each one before you sign or pay.
