A weekend office move on Golf Course Road really means Friday evening and Saturday, because our crews do not work on Sundays and most towers want goods kept out of tenants' busy hours. How the two days are spent depends on the buildings at each end: a tower run by a landlord's facility team and a managed centre ask for different things, and the larger the floor, the stronger the case for moving one department at a time.

Which kind of Golf Course Road office are you moving?
Most offices on the road sit in one of two kinds of building. The first is the big tower run by the landlord's facility team. According to DLF's page for Horizon Center, One Horizon Center rises 25 storeys with about 0.9 million sq ft of space, and Two Horizon Center next to it is larger still. DLF lists an integrated building management system, parking controlled by RFID and a fire tender kept on site, and it names Centre Court as a second DLF office address on the road. In a tower like this your company owns the desks, cabinets and computers; the facility team controls the goods lift, the dock, the entry a truck may take and how long it may stand.
The second is the managed or coworking centre. Smartworks runs one at Golf View Towers in Sector 42, close to the Rapid Metro stop serving Sectors 42 and 43, and names Paras Twin Towers, Palm Spring Plaza and Orchid Centre among the business buildings close by. There, the operator normally owns the furniture, so what travels is mostly IT, files, phones and each person's own belongings.

How many working hours does the weekend give you?
Fewer than it seems. Our crews are on duty Monday to Saturday, from 8 in the morning until 9 at night, and the office is closed on Sundays. So the move has Friday evening and Saturday; on Sunday the new floor belongs to your IT team, which can reconnect and test without anyone else in the way.
Two more clocks run inside those hours. The building's is set by the facility team or the operator, who decide when goods may use the lift and the dock. The road's clock comes from a Gurugram traffic police note about its Vehicle Movement Digi Pass, a PDF hosted by GMDA: under it, commercial vehicles may not enter designated areas in a morning window (8–10 am) or an evening one (5–9 pm). Because the note carries no date, confirm whether it still applies to your route before the day.

Should the whole office move at once or one department at a time?
A small office can go in a single trip. A bigger one can move floor by floor or team by team, which is how our office relocation service is set up to work when one weekend is not enough. The signs that point each way:

When we split a move, we fix the order of teams with you first, and the teams that deal with clients usually travel last so they work from the old floor the longest. IT goes at the end of each group's packing, so people keep working until the last possible hour. Every item carries a code for its floor, team and desk, the same code is marked on the new floor plan, and each group can sit down and start as soon as it arrives.
Who carries what over the weekend?
Not everything belongs in a carton. These are the rules our office service works to, and the office side of each one:

How does the truck reach the right tower door?
By the correct side of the road, first time. DLF's project brief shows Golf Course Road as a signal-free route with underpasses, so a truck that misses a gate must go on to the next U-turn underpass before it can turn back. Give the driver the gate's position, and the side of the road it is on, the evening before.
At a facility-run tower, ask which entry a goods vehicle may use and where it may stand while loading: a dock or the building's own drive, never the carriageway. Where a building keeps its own fire tender, as DLF says Horizon Center does, ask where it stands and keep that path clear of cartons and the truck. What if the new floor is not ready on the weekend you booked?
Move in two steps rather than wait. A team can work from a managed centre for a few weeks while its own floor is finished, and the desks, chairs and cabinets that do not fit there go into our warehouse, stacked on pallets, stored separately from other customers' goods and under CCTV, until the floor is ready. Storage is charged by space and time, so ask for it in the same quote.

Are staff or executive homes moving in the same month?
Often, on this road. A company taking more space may also be relocating a newly hired director and family to a condominium nearby, and the two jobs are easier to run from one survey and one calendar. The office is quoted after a walk-through, but homes have published bands. Here are the owner's October 2026 indicative ranges for homes:

Does anything change if part of the load is going to Delhi?
Yes, from 1 November. If an archive, a second office or an employee's home is going into Delhi, the truck has to meet Delhi's entry rules. According to a WION report dated 30 September 2026, goods vehicles registered outside Delhi have been let in since 1 November 2025 only on BS-VI, CNG, LNG or electric power, and the BS-IV vehicles' year of grace runs out on 31 October 2026. WION adds that CAQM's revised pollution plan brings older light and medium goods vehicles under Stage III curbs. The Hindu, on 28 September 2026, reported Delhi's plan to keep non-BS-VI vehicles registered elsewhere out from 1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027.

How is a Golf Course Road office move priced?
From a walk-through, not a rate card per seat.
