House shifting in DLF Phase 2 costs between 4,500 and 15,000 rupees for a home of one to three bedrooms when both addresses are in Gurgaon, on the owner's indicative October 2026 bands, and a two-bedroom flat sits at 8,000 to 12,500 rupees; a move to Delhi, Noida or another city has its own, higher band. Within a band, a Phase 2 job is priced by things outside the front door: whether a rebuilt plot's small shared lift can carry your furniture, how close the truck can stand on a crowded marg, and how much of the day is left once the truck has kept clear of the morning and evening no-entry hours.

How much does a local or Delhi move from DLF Phase 2 cost?

Vehicles have their own lines: a car on a short haul (50 km at most) is priced at Rs 9,000–11,500, while a scooter or motorbike Rs 3,000 to Rs 7,000 over that distance; our car transport page explains how. A single furnished room falls below the smallest band, and four or more bedrooms go beyond the largest; we price those from a call, a few photos or a site visit.
What if the move is to or from another city?
Then distance and truck size make up most of the bill, and the Phase 2 end adds lift and parking time. On our area page we note that many moves in this phase are tied to jobs at nearby Cyber City: someone arriving for a joining date, or leaving on a transfer. The offices really are next door: DLF places its own DLF Square tower inside Phase 2, on the highway side of Sector 25, with Cyber Hub and Cyber City alongside.

Which Phase 2 homes use the most crew hours?
The building type matters more than the bedroom count. DLF's floor application form for Phases I to III describes rebuilt plots with four floors over a basement and stilt, a lift for six persons among the shared parts, and stilt parking allotted by number. Older houses on the same streets may still have no lift at all.

A household that rents a room in a building with a sealing notice is a special case: the date is set by the notice, not by you. The rules guide covers those notices; for pricing, the room is quoted on its list like any other single room.
What uses up crew hours on moving day?
Five things, and most of them can be settled the week before.
The shared lift. With six-person capacity, a lift on a rebuilt plot takes cartons, a chair or a small appliance per trip. Anything long goes by the stair. If the lift is also serving three other floors on a weekday morning, the crew waits between trips. Agree a lift window with the other households and send it to us.
The stilt. The stilt driveway is shared and the parking bays belong to particular floors, so cartons cannot be staged there without the owners' consent. We pack inside the flat and carry straight to the truck once it is at the gate.
The marg. On 29 June 2026 The Tribune reported that the guest houses and hotels on the town planners' violation list in Phase II stood mostly along Akashneem, Jacaranda and Dakshin Marg. A lane with guest-house cabs and delivery vans at the gate leaves less room for a truck, which can mean a longer carry. Give us your marg as well as the plot number.
The no-entry spells. An undated note from the Gurugram Traffic Police, hosted on GMDA's Digi Pass page, shuts listed roads to commercial vehicles twice daily, first in the 8–10 am rush and again from 5 to 9 pm. The truck has to arrive after the first spell and be loaded and moving before the second if it is to use NH-48 or the roads round Cyber City.
Office traffic. On weekdays the roads around Cyber City fill when offices open and close, so we time arrival and departure away from those hours. Our crews work Monday through Saturday, and Saturday is often the easiest day for a Phase 2 move.
Which way out: NH-48 or the MG Road side?
It depends on the destination and the hour. Wikipedia records that a flyover linking Cyber City and MG Road opened in 2015, which gives a loaded truck from Phase 2 a second exit when NH-48 is jammed. For Delhi, Manesar or the Dwarka Expressway side, NH-48 is usually the direct route; for MG Road, Sushant Lok or South Delhi, the flyover side can be shorter.
Old Gurugram moves may see road works later. The state has cleared the money for Gurugram Metro's second phase, which will end at Cyber City: Swarajya, quoting the Hindustan Times on 1 October 2026, put the construction contract at Rs 1,662 crore. Its 14 stations include Ashok Vihar, Palam Vihar and Udyog Vihar, and the contract adds double-decker road-and-metro sections at Bajghera and along Old Delhi Road. We found no date for work to begin. If you are moving between Phase 2 and Palam Vihar or Old Gurugram after work begins, ask us to check for diversions at the survey.

Does a winter move to Delhi cost more?
The band stays the same; the truck and the date may not. Two dated rules apply:
- Delhi's winter plan. A goods vehicle with a Haryana or other non-Delhi number needs to be BS-VI, CNG or electric to enter the capital during the three months that begin on 1 November 2026, as The Hindu set out on 28 September 2026.
- GRAP. The air-quality commission's revised schedule, approved in September 2026, adds limits at Stage III on older diesel light and medium goods vehicles from outside Delhi entering the capital. Stage I was invoked on 21 October 2026, when Gurugram's AQI read 216, Business Today reported; it does not stop goods vehicles.
So for a Delhi move between November and January, ask for the truck's registration and emission class in advance, and keep a spare date in case a higher GRAP stage is called. Our Delhi–Gurgaon moving guide covers routes and the capital's entry hours.
What happens when the keys come after your joining date?
Then the goods wait in storage while you stay in a serviced apartment or with friends. Our warehousing service keeps them palletised and separate, and delivers anywhere in Gurgaon once you have the keys. Storage is a separate line on the quote, and it adds one more unloading and loading, so ask for both options if your dates are uncertain.
What keeps a Phase 2 job at the low end of its band?
- To do: Tell us the plot, the marg and the floor, and whether there is a lift
- To do: Agree a lift window with the other households on the plot
- To do: List the furniture that will not fit a six-person lift, so it can be measured
- To do: Keep the stilt and other floors' parking bays clear on the day
- To do: Choose an arrival after 10 am and a finish before 5 pm, or a Saturday
- To do: For an intercity move, send your joining date so packing and transit are planned back from it
- To do: For a Delhi move from November, confirm the truck's emission class
- To do: Sell, give away or store what you will not need before the survey
