Which way does a Sector 13 move travel to Gurgaon?

Sector 13 is packed with apartment societies. The map outline of the sector on OpenStreetMap names dozens of them, among them Atam Vallabh, Canara, Dena, Khukhrain, Sunheri Bagh and Printer Apartments. Bhagwati Hospital is at CS/OCF-6, Sector 13, near Printer Apartments, and Sachdeva Public School, VSPK International School and Venkateshwar Global School are close by. No metro station stands inside the sector, but the Magenta Line's Haiderpur Village station, opened on 8 March 2026, is just beyond its edge; the Red Line's Rohini station is to the south, and the Yellow Line's Rohini Sector 18, 19 is to the north.

The drive to Gurgaon gained another option on 17 August 2025, when the whole of Phase I of Urban Extension Road-II opened from Alipur to the airport. It passes Rohini, Mundka, Najafgarh and Dwarka and connects with the Dwarka Expressway near the airport. Our head office is in Sector 110, on the Gurgaon side of that expressway, so it is a road our crews weigh up for every Rohini job. Which route the truck takes on the day depends on the hour and the traffic.

The Delhi end still sets the pace. Whether your society has a lift, a gate register or fixed hours for goods, we ask about it when you book, pack a larger flat the day before, and keep the truck's departure outside the hours when goods vehicles are restricted on Delhi roads. Finding your way

Sector 13 Landmarks Between the Societies and the Ring Road

The eastern edge of Sector 13 runs along the Outer Ring Road, where the newest metro stops have opened. These are the places that shape a move here.

  1. Haiderpur Village station

    Opened on 8 March 2026 with the Magenta Line's Deepali Chowk–Majlis Park stretch, Haiderpur Village was called North Pitampura while it was built (Magenta Line). On the map it stands on the Outer Ring Road right at the edge of the sector.

  2. Haiderpur Badli Mor interchange

    About a kilometre up the ring road, Haiderpur Badli Mor links the Yellow Line, open since November 2015, with the Magenta Line. The junction around it carries ring-road traffic, so we time the truck to cross it outside the morning and evening peaks.

  3. ESIC Hospital and Dental College

    On Dr K N Katju Marg, on the Sector 15 side, stands the ESIC Hospital and Dental College. Its approach road stays clear of our vehicles.

  4. Goodwill Plaza and the community centre

    The map shows Goodwill Plaza and a DDA market, plus the MCD-run Bala Sahab Devras Community Centre and a banquet venue. On function days cars can fill the nearby roads, so tell us if one falls on your date.

Homes we move

Cooperative Societies and Low-Rise Blocks in Sector 13

Sector 13 is crowded with cooperative group housing. Beyond the names in our introduction, OpenStreetMap shows Vikas Sheel, Ekta, Anubhav, Rang Rasayan, Farmers and Eklavya Vihar Apartments, each a walled compound with a committee of its own.

Building heights are not uniform. Bharat Apartments, for example, is recorded on the map as three levels. Before we size the crew, we ask whether there is a lift, whether it takes a fridge standing up, and whether the society lets it be used for goods at all.

A society move here differs from one in a DDA pocket elsewhere in Rohini. Gate, guard and lift are all answerable to one office, so a single conversation with the secretary can settle the date, the parking spot and the hours.

What Sector 13 Societies and Utilities Ask For

  • Tenant paperwork for the next occupant

    If you are an owner letting the flat, file the new tenant's details on the Delhi Police tenant verification form. A housing-society guide from NoBrokerHood says this should be complete before move-in.

  • Meter removal for owners

    Owners closing an electricity account apply to Tata Power-DDL for meter removal and the deposit refund online; its FAQ lists the ID and cheque details required.

  • Pausing the gas supply

    If the flat will stand empty between owners or tenants, IGL can disconnect the line temporarily on request through its call centre, and no bill is raised during that period.

When to move

When Is the Best Time to Move From Sector 13?

Winter dates carry a rule that summer ones do not. Our trucks come into Delhi from Gurgaon, and under GRAP Stage IV the entry of non-essential trucks and non-BS VI light commercial vehicles is banned; those curbs were in force on 14 December 2025 (The Tribune). For a move between November and January we check the GRAP stage the evening before.

The rains are less predictable than the calendar suggests: in 2026 IMD declared the monsoon over Delhi only on 2 July, as Down To Earth noted, almost a week behind the usual date. A society move in early July should keep a fallback date, because a wet compound and a shared lift make a slow day.

Often, but not always. Phase I of Urban Extension Road-II has been open since 17 August 2025 and links Rohini with Dwarka and the Dwarka Expressway. On the day, we choose between it and the city roads depending on time and traffic.

There is none inside the sector. The nearest is the Magenta Line's Haiderpur Village station, opened on 8 March 2026, just beyond the sector's edge. The Red Line's Rohini station, once called Rohini East, lies to the south, and Rohini Sector 18, 19 on the Yellow Line lies to the north.
