Packers and movers · Rohini Sector 24, North West Delhi
Maxx Relocation packs and moves homes in the numbered pockets of Rohini Sector 24, from DDA flats to builder floors. We find out how your pocket's gate and lanes work before the truck sets off.
Area overview

Sector 24 belongs to Rohini's Phase III and carries the 110085 PIN code. It is laid out in numbered pockets of DDA flats, each working much like a small gated colony, with builder floors and independent houses in between. Delhi Public School Rohini has been in the sector since 1995, there is a DDA market of its own, and the nearest metro is Rithala, the western end of the Red Line, about two kilometres away.
The pocket layout is what decides a moving day here. Each pocket has its own entrance, sometimes with a guard and a register, and inside, some lanes are narrow enough that a full-size truck cannot turn. We ask for your pocket number, which entry the truck should use and how close it can stand to your stairwell. If the lane is too tight, we load a smaller vehicle at the door and shuttle to the main truck outside.
Change is on the way nearby. The Union Cabinet approved the Red Line's Rithala to Kundli extension in December 2024, with stations planned at Rohini Sectors 25 and 26; once building starts, some roads near the sector may carry diversions. We are not based in Rohini. Our crews come from our head office in Sector 110, Gurgaon, and we check the route on the morning of the move.
Local know-how
A short list, worked through with you on the phone before we quote.
On the ground in Rohini Sector 24 North Delhi
Pockets are numbered, and several share a boundary road. The pocket number, flat number and the gate you want us at save the crew a slow circuit of the sector.
Where the lane will not take a truck, a smaller vehicle is loaded at your door and the goods are moved across to the big truck waiting on the main road.
Many DDA pocket blocks are walk-ups. Cartons are packed to a weight one person can carry down safely, and glass tops and mirrors go in separate padded crates.
Mornings near the school are busy with buses and parents. We plan the truck's arrival to miss the busiest drop-off and pick-up times.
Heavy rain can leave water standing on low stretches of road. In the monsoon we carry extra plastic sheeting and, if the forecast is bad, offer to move the date.
Finding your way
Sector 24 is in Rohini's outer ring of sectors, away from the Outer Ring Road. These are the roads and places that decide how a truck reaches your pocket and leaves again.
Rithala station, the Red Line's western terminal since 31 March 2004, stands on Bhagwan Mahavir Marg in Sector 5. That road links Sector 24 with the older sectors, and the crew follows it rather than cutting through pocket lanes.
The Urban Extension Road-II runs from NH44 near Alipur through Bawana, Rohini, Mundka and Najafgarh to the Dwarka Expressway near the airport, with its first phase fully open since 17 August 2025. For western Rohini it is a strong option for the run to Gurgaon.
Brokersaathi names the DDA market in Sector 24 and Deep Vihar Market as the local shopping streets. Both are useful landmarks, and both are places where a truck should not wait.
Close by in Sector 23, OpenStreetMap shows The Heritage School and Maxfort School. School buses add to morning traffic on the shared roads, so we arrive after the school run.
Homes we move
Brokersaathi's May 2026 guide describes Sector 24's DDA apartments as mostly 2BHK and its builder floors as 3BHK, with DDA parks inside the pockets. Square Yards also mentions MIG societies and gated developments.
A 2BHK DDA flat is a contained load, but the pocket gate and the park in the middle can put a long walk between the truck and your stair, so we plan the carrying distance and the crew size together. A 3BHK builder floor has more furniture and a private stair, which usually means more dismantling in the rooms before anything goes down.
The same guide says internal lanes in some pockets are narrow and prone to potholes. For fragile loads that matters as much as width, so glass, mirrors and televisions get extra padding for the slow drive out of the pocket.
On the ground
Landlords file new tenants' details on the Delhi Police tenant verification form. NoBrokerHood says it should be complete before the tenant moves in.
A permanent disconnection from IGL cannot simply be reversed: reconnecting later means a new application with a new meter number. If you may return, ask for temporary disconnection instead.
Owners closing the account apply to Tata Power-DDL for meter removal and the security refund through its website or app; the FAQ lists the documents.

When to move
Rain is worth planning for here. During the orange-alert downpour of mid-August 2026, The Hans India listed Rohini among the northwest Delhi areas with water on the roads. For a monsoon booking we keep a fallback date and watch the forecast the night before.
Summer has its own pressure. Delhi government schools were closed from 11 May to 30 June 2026 (Free Press Journal), and many pocket families move in that break. We load early on those days and plan to leave before the evening peak, which Brokersaathi lists among the sector's traffic problems.

FAQ
Still have a question?
Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.
Sometimes not. Some internal lanes are narrow, so we may load a smaller vehicle at your door and transfer the goods to the main truck on the wider road. We decide this with you before quoting.
If your pocket has a guard or RWA register, tell them the date and give them the vehicle number we share with you. Some RWAs also ask that goods move only during the day.
The Rithala to Kundli extension has stations planned at Rohini Sectors 25 and 26. If construction diversions are in place on your moving day, we plan the truck's route around them.
Our head office is in Sector 110, Gurgaon, and there is no Rohini branch. The crew drives up on the morning of the job with packing material loaded, at a reporting time agreed when you book.
Yes, as well as into Gurgaon. See our Delhi page for moves across the city, or our home shifting service for what is included.
Yes. A move to Sector 18 or another Rohini sector is usually a one-day job for flats up to 2BHK, with full packing and labelling.
