Packers and movers · Rohini Sector 9, North West Delhi
Maxx Relocation moves families out of Sector 9's group housing societies and into their next home, whether it is two sectors away or in Gurgaon. Society paperwork, lift time and the busy market crossing all go into the plan.
Area overview

Sector 9 is mostly flats. Square Yards describes its housing as mainly DDA and RWA-run flats with some private complexes, and names Aakash Kunj, Shakti Apartments and CGHS Gayatri Apartments among them. The OpenStreetMap outline of the sector also marks a DDA market, the DC Chowk shopping area and schools including GD Goenka, N.K. Bagrodia and Delhi International Public School.
In a cooperative society, the move runs on the society's terms. Many committees want the date in advance, some ask for a no-dues slip before signing a gate pass, and a shared lift has to be booked for a fixed window. Check the rules with your society office a week ahead. We send you the vehicle number and the size of the crew, so the pass can name them and the guard is not left guessing at the gate.
Then comes the road. Square Yards notes that traffic peaks at busy hours and parking space is short, and a market crossing such as DC Chowk is the last place a truck wants to queue in the evening. We start loading in the late morning and aim to be clear by mid-afternoon. Family members can take the Red Line from Rohini (formerly Rohini East) or Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital (formerly Rohini West), the stations either side of the sector. We have no Rohini branch; the crew drives up from our Sector 110 head office in Gurgaon.
Local know-how
What decides how smoothly a move out of a Sector 9 society goes.
On the ground in Rohini Sector 9 North Delhi
Ask your society office what it needs before goods can leave: a written request, a no-dues slip or a signed pass. We give you our vehicle and crew details to attach.
When a shared lift is booked for a set window, we pad its walls, load in a fixed order and keep a crew member on each landing, so no time is lost.
Some societies let a truck in; others keep it on the road outside. Tell us which, because a long walk from gate to block changes the crew size.
If your date falls in the rainy season, sofas, mattresses and cartons are wrapped in plastic sheeting before they cross the open ground to the truck.
Sectors 7, 13 and 14 border Sector 9. A society-to-society move between them is usually a one-day job for flats up to 2BHK.
Finding your way
Sector 9 is hemmed in by busier sectors on every side. These are the places we plan the drive around.
Uttari Pitampura–Prashant Vihar, known as Prashant Vihar while it was built, and Madhuban Chowk both opened on the Outer Ring Road on 8 March 2026 (Magenta Line). With the Red Line on the other side, relatives travelling separately now have stations on two lines within reach.
The large public hospital a short drive north is the ESIC Hospital and Dental College in Sector 15, near the HP petrol pump on Dr K N Katju Marg. A hospital approach is no place for a truck to wait, so ours never does.
OpenStreetMap places Jaivik Haat (PGS-India Regional Council) next to the Kadambari Cooperative Group Housing Society. It is a useful landmark for finding that corner of the sector.
One more school appears on the map beside the three in our introduction. Every extra gate adds another short rush at opening and closing time, which is why we fix the loading hour after asking which school is nearest your block.
Homes we move
Beyond the best-known names, the map of Sector 9 is crowded with group housing compounds: Kadambari, Gulab Vihar, Saket Kunj, Bhagirathi, Vinoba Kunj, Sangam and Amardeep Apartments among them. Madhav Kunj is tagged as run by a cooperative group housing society named Saraswati Vihar. Each has its own wall, gate and office.
Inside a cooperative compound, the managing committee decides when goods may leave, and a lift, where a block has one, serves every flat on that stair. A DDA flat outside the compounds works the other way round: there is no office to ask, but no guard to keep a parking space either, so the lane outside decides how close the truck can come.
On the ground
Landlords letting a flat file the tenant's details with Delhi Police on its tenant verification form. NoBrokerHood advises that this is completed before the tenant moves in.
An owner leaving for good can ask Tata Power-DDL for meter removal and the refund of the security deposit through its website or app. The company FAQ asks for photo ID and a cancelled cheque.
When the flat has been sold, the buyer takes over the piped-gas line through an ownership transfer. IGL lists the property paper, a discom electricity bill, a notarised NOC and ID proof among the documents.

When to move
In 2026 the monsoon reached Delhi on 2 July, five days after its normal date of 27 June (Down To Earth). The last week of June is therefore a gamble: the heat may still be on, or the first storms may arrive. Anyone booking that week gets a second date pencilled in.
May is reliably harsh. The Pitampura weather station recorded 48.5°C on 28 May 2024 (The National). For a move in those weeks, loading starts early, the crew takes water breaks between floors, and the truck is away before the afternoon peak around the markets.

FAQ

Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.
The vehicle registration number, the number of crew members and the expected loading hours. Most offices also want your flat number and the date, which you add when you apply.
That depends on the society, not on us. Some allow a truck inside for loading; others keep goods vehicles at the gate. Ask your office, and we plan the crew around the answer.
We plan so it does not. Loading starts in the late morning and the truck aims to leave before the evening rush around the market. For a Gurgaon move, the departure is also timed around Delhi's restricted hours for goods vehicles.
From our head office in Sector 110, Gurgaon; there is no Maxx branch in Rohini. The team drives up on the morning of the job, so the Gurgaon end of your move is close to home for them. See packers and movers in Gurgaon.
Yes. We carry plastic sheeting and wrap upholstered furniture and cartons before they leave the building. If heavy rain is forecast, we can talk about shifting the date before the day.
