The Rohini Sector 18, 19 station stands in Block C and opened on 10 November 2015, when the Yellow Line was extended to Samaypur Badli. Heading south, the same line ends at Millennium City Centre Gurugram, so Gurgaon is a single train ride from home. A household move between the two cannot take that shortcut, and planning the road leg is most of our job.

Housing in Sector 18 leans towards apartment complexes. Paradise Apartments is one of the complexes the station is listed as serving, and Millennium Apartment, on Dr MC Davar Marg in C Block, holds more than five hundred two-bedroom flats. In buildings of that size the goods lift is shared, so a loading slot is usually booked through the office, and the truck may have to wait its turn at the gate.

That is where we come in from the other end. Our head office is in Sector 110, Gurgaon, and we have no branch in Rohini; our crews drive up for each job, so the Gurgaon side of your move is the side we know best. On the way out of Delhi, the truck needs No Entry Permission from Delhi Traffic Police during restricted hours, so we time the loading to suit.

Sector 18 Landmarks the Crew Works Around

Sector 18 is not far from the Outer Ring Road at Badli Mor, with a bus terminal and a DDA market of its own. These are the points that set the route.

  1. Haiderpur Badli Mor interchange

    Haiderpur Badli Mor, on the Outer Ring Road, has served the Yellow Line since November 2015 and became a Magenta Line interchange on 8 March 2026. Our trucks often cross that junction, so we time it outside rush hour.

  2. DTC bus terminal

    OpenStreetMap shows a DTC bus terminal in the sector. Buses need room to swing in and out, so the truck stays well clear of its entrance.

  3. DDA Market, Sector 18

    The sector's own market is a quick landmark for the driver. Shoppers' cars and scooters gather in front of any market, so we do not load there.

  4. Mount Abu Public School and the parks

    Mount Abu Public School, Dahiya Badshah Park and Chaudhary Hirdhay Ram Smriti Park are all mapped here. Naming the nearest one when you book helps the crew reach the right block first time.

Apartment Complexes and Lettered Blocks in Sector 18

Beyond Paradise and Millennium, the map of Sector 18 names Utsav, Unity, Aastha Kunj, Green Valley and Platinum Enclave Apartments, as well as Shri Hari Enclave in H-3 Block. Each complex has its own gate and office.

They were not all built the same way. NoBroker lists Utsav Apartments as a DDA project of 2BHK flats with a lift, while CommonFloor lists Aastha Kunj as a 108-unit complex ready since March 2003. A DDA complex and a privately developed one may follow different rules for move-in hours, so check with your own office.

If your address is a lettered block rather than a named complex, the constraint is usually the lane, not the lift. There we look at where the truck can stand and whether a smaller vehicle should carry goods out to it.

What to Settle Before a Sector 18 Move

  • Transferring the gas connection on a sale

    If the flat has been sold, IGL needs the registered property paper, a copy of the discom bill, a notarised NOC and ID proof to move the piped-gas connection to the buyer.

  • Re-registering the car

    Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a Delhi car kept in Haryana for more than twelve months has to be re-registered there, and the application goes with a no-objection certificate. Shifting the car to Gurgaon is the start of that clock.

  • Closing the electricity account

    An owner who is not keeping the connection applies to Tata Power-DDL for meter removal and the security refund; the FAQ lists photo ID and a cancelled cheque.

When to move

Best Time of Year for a Sector 18 Move

Winter is now governed by stricter truck rules. WION reported on 30 September 2026 that once the transition for BS-IV vehicles ends on 31 October 2026, light and medium goods vehicles will face restrictions under GRAP Stage III and heavy ones under Stage IV. For a November to January date, we confirm the stage the evening before.

Families with school-age children often aim for the winter break. In 2025, Delhi government schools were closed from 1 to 15 January (Careers360). Fog can slow those early mornings, so a winter truck from Gurgaon may reach Sector 18 a little later than in summer.
