Sector 3 lies on Rohini's southern edge. At Deepali Chowk, where Naharpur Village Road meets the Outer Ring Road, a Magenta Line station opened on 8 March 2026, serving Sectors 3 and 8 and Pitampura across the road. The sector is not only housing. Jaipur Golden Hospital stands in its institutional area on Naharpur Village Road, and Rohini's Wikipedia entry places the National Forensic Sciences University's Delhi campus here too.

For a move, that mix means two very different kinds of road. The big roads at the edge carry through traffic, and the stretch near a hospital has to stay clear for ambulances, so a truck cannot sit there through hours of loading. The residential blocks behind them are reached by narrower lanes, often lined with cars and scooters. Before quoting, we look at your address on the map, ask where a vehicle has stood before and, if the lane is tight, bring a smaller tempo to ferry goods out to the main truck.

We have no office in Rohini. Moves in Delhi are run from our head office in Sector 110, Gurgaon, so the crew drives in on the morning of the job with cartons, tape and blankets already on board. A Gurgaon-bound load heads back south, timed around the hours when Delhi restricts goods vehicles. Shifting within Rohini, or across the Outer Ring Road to Pitampura, is normally finished the same day.

What we check for a Sector 3 address before the crew sets out.

On the ground in Rohini Sector 3 North Delhi

  1. Your block and a landmark

    Give us the block number and the nearest landmark, such as Jaipur Golden Hospital, Jheel Park or the Kendriya Vidyalaya. Reaching a lane from the Outer Ring Road side is a different drive from reaching it through the inner roads.

  2. A shuttle for tight lanes

    When a full-size truck cannot turn into your lane, a smaller vehicle carries the goods in short trips to the truck waiting on a wider road. That takes longer, so it goes into the quote from the start.

  3. Stairs in walk-up homes

    Where a building has no lift, every piece goes down by hand. Almirahs and double beds are taken apart upstairs, and cartons are kept to a weight one person can carry safely down a narrow stair.

  4. Around school hours

    Roads beside schools fill up at opening and closing time. We plan loading around those windows so the truck is never parked across a school gate.

  5. Leaving Delhi for Gurgaon

    Goods vehicles need permission to use Delhi roads during restricted hours. For a Gurgaon-bound move from Sector 3, we load so the truck can leave outside them, and the planned departure is written into your quote.

Finding your way

Which Junctions and Stations Around Sector 3 Set the Route?

Sector 3 faces Pitampura across the Outer Ring Road. These are the points that decide where a truck can turn in and which way it leaves.

  1. Madhuban Chowk interchange

    One stop east of Deepali Chowk, Madhuban Chowk now serves both the Red Line and, since 8 March 2026, the Magenta Line. The walkway linking the two is still under construction, so passengers exit one station to enter the other. For our driver it is a junction to pass through, never one to queue at with a loaded truck.

  2. Pushpanjali metro works

    The Magenta Line does not stop at Deepali Chowk for long: Pushpanjali, Mangolpur Kalan–West Enclave and Mangolpuri are listed as stations still being built (Magenta Line), and OpenStreetMap places the Pushpanjali works inside Sector 3. Where barricades narrow a carriageway, we check the stretch the evening before the move.

  3. Avantika Multispeciality Hospital

    Jaipur Golden is not the only hospital here; the map also shows Avantika Multispeciality Hospital within the sector. Near either gate, the truck stands only where an ambulance can still get past.

  4. Mangalam Paradise Mall

    The mall on Mangalam Place, with a banquet hall on its ground floor, is a landmark drivers recognise. It can also bring evening cars and parking, so we plan to be loaded and away before that builds up.

Homes we move

DDA Flats, Builder Floors and the Few Compounds of Sector 3

Square Yards divides Sector 3 into sub-localities from 3A to 3G and names DDA flats, builder floors and independent homes as the housing people choose here. Ask us about your sub-locality first: the letter tells the crew whether the approach is from the ring road side or through the inner blocks.

Gated compounds are few. OpenStreetMap marks Gyan Sudha, an apartment complex with its own RWA, and an MTNL apartment block. In a compound like these, the guard and the committee set the terms for the truck. A DDA block that opens straight onto a public lane has no such office, so there the job turns on parking rather than paperwork.

Whether there is a lift changes the plan more than the floor number. In a walk-up DDA block the stair is shared, so the crew carries in short relays and keeps landings clear for neighbours. In a builder floor the stair is private but can be steep, so bulky pieces are opened up in the room before they go down.

  • Closing the electricity account

    Tata Power-DDL supplies North and North West Delhi. An owner closing a connection can apply for meter removal and the security refund on the company website or app; its disconnection FAQ lists photo ID and a cancelled cheque among the documents.

  • The gas pipeline

    For a piped-gas connection, IGL takes requests for permanent or temporary disconnection through its call centre or walk-in centres. Once a line is permanently disconnected, a fresh application with a new meter is needed, so a seller or owner should decide which one fits before booking.

  • A new tenant coming in

    If you are letting the flat after you leave, Delhi Police publishes a tenant verification form for landlords to file. NoBrokerHood's guide for housing societies says verification should be done before the tenant moves in.

When to move

When Is the Best Time to Move in Sector 3?

Heat is the first thing to plan around. The Pitampura weather station, named after the colony across the ring road, recorded 48.5°C on 28 May 2024, according to The National. On days like that we begin at first light, finish the heavy carrying by midday, and ask you to keep medicines and electronics out of the closed truck.

Rain brings its own delays. On 14 August 2026 waterlogging was reported in parts of northwest Delhi, including Rohini, and around Mangolpuri, The Hans India reported. During the monsoon we hold a spare date for every Sector 3 move and sheet the load before it leaves the gate.

Families with children often pick the school break. In 2026, Delhi government schools were closed for summer from 11 May to 30 June (Free Press Journal), which overlaps the hottest weeks, so book an early-morning slot well ahead.
