The colony lies in Sector 57 and is divided into blocks. The Knowledge Habitat, formerly The HDFC School, gives its address as Block C, Sushant Lok III, Sector 57. A sector-dividing road runs between Sectors 50, 51 and 57; in July 2024 enforcement teams cleared about two kilometres of its service road, which had been blocked at many points and jammed for years.

Some of the larger plots here now hold paying-guest rooms rather than a single family. At the end of September 2026 the district town planner's enforcement wing said its survey of Sushant Lok 3 was complete, with more than 30 buildings flagged for alleged PGs, guest houses or commercial use, some with building work in stilt parking, Grihik reported. Show-cause notices and restoration orders were issued. Sushant Lok III was also on the department's list in an August 2023 drive against stilt-plus-four floors run as businesses.

So two kinds of move are common. Families leave whole floors, with sofas, beds and kitchens to pack. Tenants in rented rooms may need to go at short notice if their building has to return to residential use. We do both: a full floor is surveyed and packed over a day or two, and a single room travels in a small van. Close by: Sector 57 and Sushant Lok 2.

    Lanes here fill with residents' cars, so we agree a stopping point the evening before and keep the truck at the gate only as long as loading takes.

  2. Floors reached by stairs

    Not every building here has a lift big enough for a wardrobe. If yours does not, we bring extra hands and take bulky pieces apart before the carry.

  3. One room, one van

    A tenant's room or studio rarely needs a full truck. A small van is easier to park in a block lane and is booked for a shorter slot.

  4. The sector road at peak hours

    We avoid taking a loaded truck onto the road between Sectors 50, 51 and 57 at the evening peak, and plan the route to your next home in advance.

  5. Monsoon months

    Water has reached ground floors and basements here after heavy rain. From July to September we wrap furniture in plastic and watch the forecast.

  6. A list for the handover

    Tenants get an itemised list of what we packed. It helps when you hand back keys and the owner checks that their fittings stay behind.
