Shifting Within or Near Sector 61: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

If both of your homes are in Gurgaon, a house shift into or out of Sector 61 is priced on ranges the owner set in October 2026, from Rs 4,500 at the bottom of the one-bedroom band to Rs 15,000, where the three-bedroom band tops out. Where your job lands inside its band depends on the building, the hours the truck may use the road and any fees your society adds, more than on the distance.

What does a house shift in Sector 61 cost in October 2026?

The figures below are indicative ranges from the owner, given on 3 October 2026 and shown on our Gurgaon packers and movers page. They apply when the other address is also in Gurgaon.

The missing row matters in Sector 61. Square Yards lists Pioneer Park Phase 1 homes from about 1,300 to 2,550 sq ft, in 2, 3 and 4 BHK layouts, and its sector page shows the Aravallis project under construction as 3 and 4 BHK flats. A four-bedroom flat of that size is priced on what it actually holds. What might you pay on top of the mover's bill?

Your society's own charges, if it has any. These are not part of any mover's price, and they vary from one estate to the next. In a guide published on 18 September 2026, NoBrokerHood gave rough figures for Gurgaon societies and said they are approximate, not fixed rates:

Square Yards' Sector 61 page, updated on 13 October 2026, lists premium maintenance charges among the sector's drawbacks. Ask the facility office whether it wants maintenance dues cleared before it issues a move-out pass, and if so, settle the last bill a few days ahead rather than on the morning.

Where do the crew's hours go in Sector 61's buildings?

Mostly in waiting and walking, and the building type decides how much. The projects Square Yards lists for the sector fall into three groups, plus office parks:

The two Pioneer Park sources do not count the same buildings. Pioneer Urban says its development was launched in 2009 and spreads over Sectors 61 and 62, so ask the facility office which phase and tower you are in, and which gate a goods vehicle must use for it.

Small things that add an hour each:

• No lift booking in writing. A crew that arrives to find another family using the service lift waits on the landing.
• A loading point far from your tower. Ask the guards where a truck may stand for your block, and measure the walk.
• Wardrobes still full. Emptying them on the day stops the packers in their tracks.
• A destination nobody has checked. The building at the other end has its own lift, pass and parking rules.

When can the moving truck use the roads?

Between the city's no-entry windows, as far as the latest note we found goes. The Digi Pass note from the Gurugram Traffic Police, dated June 2023 and still hosted by GMDA, shuts designated areas to goods vehicles without a pass for two spells a day: 8 am until 10 am, then 5 pm until 9 pm. The note is more than three years old, so check that it still applies to your route.

In practice, a Sector 61 move fits best when the truck pulls in after 10 am and the last carton is inside before 5 pm. A weekend is not automatically quieter: Square Yards lists weekend traffic and traffic near the major junctions among the sector's drawbacks. What road works could slow the truck down?

Two plans for Golf Course Extension Road, at different stages:

1. The eight-lane upgrade. On 3 May 2026 The Tribune reported that GMDA's tender was complete for widening the road to eight lanes, adding a drain along each side plus footpaths and street lights, with work on the ground expected to begin within a week. By 16 October 2026 we had found no later report on progress.
2. Flyovers from Vatika Chowk to Ghata. In January 2025, Haryana's industries minister said four flyovers would be built on that stretch, with an elevated road from the Gurugram–Jaipur highway to Vatika Chowk, at a cost of Rs 800 crore, and that GMDA was preparing the project report, according to The Tribune. We found no start date.

Either can bring diversions, narrowed lanes and barricades near junctions. When you book, give us the society, tower and gate, and check the approach yourself a day or two before the move.

Moving next door: what changes at the other address?

The band stays the same when both addresses are in Gurgaon. What differs is the list of things to settle at the far end:

When the destination flat is still unfinished, our warehouse can keep part or all of the load in between, for a charge based on days and space.

How do you keep a Sector 61 quote at the lower end of its band?

Take the waiting out of the day. A week before the move:

• To do: Get the service-lift slot, the gate for goods vehicles and the truck's standing place in writing, at both homes
• To do: Ask for the society's moving fee and deposit, and clear maintenance dues
• To do: Tell us the tower, floor and number of rooms, and mention a 4 BHK or a home with a lot of glass or stone
• To do: Plan for the truck to arrive after 10 am and finish before 5 pm
• To do: Check the road from Golf Course Extension Road to your gate for works or diversions
• To do: Empty wardrobes, lofts and drawers, and pack books and clothes ahead
• To do: For a move into an unfinished flat, agree a storage fall-back and a second date
