A house shift that starts or ends in Sector 58 and stays inside Gurgaon is priced on our indicative October 2026 ranges: a 1 BHK costs Rs 4,500–7,000, a 2 BHK Rs 8,000–12,500 and a 3 BHK Rs 12,000–15,000. In this sector the bill is set mostly by crew hours in a tall building, meaning lift trips, the walk from the lift to the truck and any wait at the gate, rather than by kilometres driven.
This post covers money, hours and access only. For how we run a move in the sector's towers generally, see our Sector 58 packers and movers page.
How much does a house shift within Sector 58 cost?
The table below gives the ranges we quote before anyone has seen your home. They match the figures on our Gurgaon city page, which the owner last revised in October 2026.
| What is moving | Indicative range (October 2026) | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 BHK | Rs 4,500–7,000 | Moves within Gurgaon |
| 2 BHK | Rs 8,000–12,500 | Moves within Gurgaon |
| 3 BHK | Rs 12,000–15,000 | Moves within Gurgaon |
| Car on a carrier | Rs 9,000–11,500 | Up to 50 km |
| Bike | Rs 3,000–7,000 | Up to 50 km |
Two limits apply. First, these are ranges, not quotes: the written price follows a survey of the goods and of both buildings. Second, there is no published range above 3 BHK. If your home has four bedrooms or is a duplex, we price it only after we have counted what it holds. For the steps included in a move, read our household shifting page; for a car, see car transport. For how prices compare across Gurgaon and other cities, our post on packers and movers charges in Gurgaon has the wider picture.
Why does a Sector 58 tower take more crew hours than its distance suggests?
Because height and building rules, not the road, decide the length of the day. Wikipedia's list of Gurgaon's tallest buildings places Ireo Grand Arch in Sector 58, with four towers of 30 floors completed in 2014, next to the 27-floor Grand Hyatt and the 30-floor Grand View Tower, both finished in 2019. Moving a family out of a flat high up in a building like that is a series of lift cycles, and each cycle costs minutes whichever sector the truck is going to.
What stretches those cycles in practice:
- The lift car's size. A small service lift means more trips, and a sofa or wardrobe that does not fit has to be taken apart upstairs first.
- Sharing the lift. If the booking covers only part of the day, or deliveries and other residents use the same car, the crew waits on the landing.
- Distance from lift to truck. A basement or podium loading point far from your tower adds a walk to every carton.
- Fragile, heavy pieces. Stone-topped tables, large mirrors and glass shelves need padding or a crate, which adds packing time and material.
- A second vehicle. When one truck is not enough, the second needs its own pass and a place to wait.
None of these depend on whether the new home is in Sector 59 or in Sector 110. That is why a move to the next sector costs much the same as one across the city.
Where do the crew hours go on a Sector 58 moving day?
They go to waiting as much as to work, and most waiting can be removed in advance. Here is how a tower move usually breaks down, and what decides each part.
| Part of the day | What sets its length | What you can do beforehand |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Guards checking names, IDs and the truck number | Give the facility desk the crew list and vehicle number a day early |
| Packing | How much is still loose in cupboards and the kitchen | Pack books, clothes and dry kitchen items yourself, or book packing the day before |
| Taking furniture apart | Beds, wardrobes, mounted TVs, glass tops | Clear wardrobes fully so they can be opened up quickly |
| Lift runs | Size of the car and how long you hold it | Book the lift for the whole slot and get the lift number in writing |
| Loading | Walk from the lift to the truck | Ask which loading point is nearest your tower |
| Road | Time of day, work zones, rain | Leave the start time to the mover once the slot is known |
| Unloading | The rules of the building at the other end | Book the destination lift and pass as carefully as the first |
A practical point on timing: a lift booked from 10 am on paper can start late if the resident before you overruns. Ask the desk whether your slot follows another move, and if it does, ask for the first slot of a different day instead.
Which hours can the truck use near Sector 58?
Outside the city's no-entry windows, and with an eye on the road works. A Gurugram Traffic Police note on its Vehicle Movement Digi Pass, hosted on GMDA's website, gives the no-entry hours for commercial vehicles on designated roads as 8–10 am and 5–9 pm. An older reply from the traffic police on X, posted in January 2020, gave the same windows for heavy vehicles and said the evening one ran to 10:30 pm on Mondays and Fridays. We confirm the current position for the size of truck we are sending.
The road outside is changing too. The Tribune reported on 3 May 2026 that the contractor for the eight-lane widening of Golf Course Extension Road had been mobilised, with drains on both sides, footpaths and street lighting, and that a traffic management plan had been drafted for the construction phase. Separately, Daily Jagran reported on 3 October 2025 that GMDA was weighing a Rs 578 crore flyover against a Rs 658 crore underpass for five junctions on the six-kilometre stretch from Ghata village to Vatika Chowk, with the final call left to the Chief Minister.
What that means for cost: a closed turn or a narrowed lane adds drive time, and a truck kept waiting outside the gate adds crew time. Neither is in your control, so we check the approach shortly before the day and fix the start hour after that.
Rain is the other variable. On 7 July 2026, after the season's first heavy downpour, The Tribune listed Golf Course Extension Road and Vatika Chowk among the places with long jams from waterlogging. For a July or August move, keep a second date agreed with the facility desk.
Where does the truck stand at a Sector 58 tower?
Inside the compound, at the loading point the facility office names, and never on the main carriageway while the road is being rebuilt. Ask three things before the day:
- Is the basement or podium high enough for a full-size truck, or must a smaller vehicle shuttle goods to the gate?
- Is the loading point shared with deliveries, or with the hotel or office traffic nearby?
- Can a second vehicle wait inside while the first is loaded?
Construction traffic is a fourth question for the next few years. Business Standard reported on 30 June 2026 that Oberoi Realty had launched the first phase of Three Sixty North, a 14.8-acre project in Sector 58 planned in two phases. If your gate or service road is near a site of that size, ask the guards when site vehicles come and go, and avoid those hours for loading.
What changes when the move is only to a neighbouring sector?
The price range stays the same, but the building at the other end can change the hours a great deal. Look up the destination's access before you agree a start time.
| Moving to | Our page | What to check at that end |
|---|---|---|
| Sector 59 | Sector 59 | More tall towers; Wikipedia lists Conscient Hines Elevate at 33 floors among projects under construction or launched |
| Sector 60 | Sector 60 | A mix of towers and low-rise floors; Adani Realty describes Samsara Arya as stilt plus four floors with one home per floor |
| Sector 56 | Sector 56 | Older housing as well as societies; the Kendriya Vihar website lists 1,940 flats on 39.4 acres with three gates |
| Sectors 61 and 62 | Sector 61, Sector 62 | No metro yet; Wikipedia's Gurugram Metro article lists future stations at both, with construction planned from 2029 |
| Our head office area | Sector 110 | The crew and trucks for Sector 58 come from here, so no extra branch transfer is needed |
A low-rise floor with one home per level often goes faster than a tower flat of the same size, because there is no lift booking to wait for, but stairs make heavy pieces slower. If the dates at the two ends do not line up, goods can wait in our warehouse until the new home is ready.
How can you keep your quote near the low end of the range?
By giving the crew a day with no waiting in it. Before the survey and again a week before the move:
- To do: Get the lift booking and the slot in writing, with the lift number
- To do: Find out where the truck stands and whether it clears the basement
- To do: Clear the final maintenance bill, if the society holds goods until it is paid
- To do: Send the crew names and vehicle number to the gate a day early
- To do: Pack loose small items, or ask for packing the day before
- To do: Empty wardrobes and drawers that will be taken apart
- To do: Measure the new home's lift and doors for the largest sofa or bed
- To do: Agree a second date for the monsoon months
When you have both addresses and the slots, ask us for a written quote. For the road as a whole, our Golf Course Road page covers moves along the corridor.
This article is general information. Our prices are indicative ranges dated October 2026, and traffic rules, society rules and road works change, so confirm the current position before you book.
