Shifting Within or Near Sector 57: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

Any house shift beginning or ending in Sector 57 that stays inside Gurgaon is priced from figures the owner fixed in October 2026, with a three-bedroom home at Rs 12,000–15,000, a two-bedroom at Rs 8,000–12,500 and a one-bedroom at Rs 4,500–7,000. Where a home lands within its range depends mostly on crew hours spent on staircases, in narrow lanes and at society gates, and in a sector of builder floors with one large tower society those hours vary from block to block.

What will a Sector 57 house shift cost?

These are the ranges the owner set in October 2026, the same ones shown on our Gurgaon city page. They are a guide given before anyone has seen the home; the written figure follows a survey.

Two Sector 57 homes fall outside the table. Square Yards lists the Sushant Lok 3 floors as three- and four-bedroom homes, and the penthouses in BPTP Freedom Park Life run from 4,780 to 5,361 sq ft. Neither has a published range, so both are priced after a survey. Where do the crew hours go in a Sector 57 builder floor?

Into carrying, not driving. Where a floor in Sushant Lok 3 or the Sushant Lok 2 and Mayfield Garden blocks has a staircase and no lift, every carton, mattress and wardrobe panel goes down it by hand. What lengthens that work:

• Which floor. Each extra flight lengthens every round trip, so the same goods take longer to clear from a second floor than from the ground floor.
• The stair itself. Narrow turns mean sofas and wardrobes must be taken apart upstairs, and a stair shared with the families on other floors has to stay passable for them all day.
• The stilt. Where the ground level is a parking stilt, the residents' cars can sit between the stair and the lane. Ask the other families to move theirs before the crew arrives.
• The walk to the truck. If the truck has to stand at the end of the lane rather than at the gate, every item travels that distance too.
• Pumps and tanks. A booster pump or sump on the floor must be switched off a day early and drained before it travels, as our Sector 57 page sets out.

How is a move from BPTP Freedom Park Life different?

The lift replaces the stairs as the thing to plan around. Square Yards' project page describes 681 homes in 12 towers on 13.88 acres, grouped into six clusters, with possession dating from April 2011. The flats are large for their bedroom count: 2 BHK units of 1,446 to 1,697 sq ft and 3 BHK units of 2,293 to 2,762 sq ft. A big three-bedroom tends to hold more furniture than a compact one, so the survey, not the bedroom count alone, decides where it sits in the range.

Three things to settle with the estate office:

• To do: The goods lift and the booked hours, in writing, with the guard's name for that shift
• To do: Which cluster's loading point is nearest your tower
• To do: Whether a second vehicle can wait inside while the first is loaded

Which hours can the truck use near Sector 57?

Outside the city's no-entry windows, unless it carries a permit. Gurugram Traffic Police treat 8–10 am and 5–9 pm as no-entry timings for commercial vehicles in designated areas, according to a short PDF about its Vehicle Movement Digi Pass kept on a GMDA server. The same PDF offers free permits to essential-service vehicles, at first for three months. The note carries no date, so check the current hours for the route and truck size before fixing a start time. In most cases a loading window between 10 am and 5 pm avoids the question.

School timings matter as much here. G Block holds both Scottish High International School and Karmel International School, so a truck in that block should not be loading when gates open or close. The same applies near The Knowledge Habitat, formerly The HDFC School, in C Block of Sushant Lok III.

Where does the truck stand in Sector 57's lanes?

Wherever the lane leaves room, which is often less than the map suggests. When the Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed Haryana's stilt-plus-four policy on 2 April 2026, The Tribune reported the bench noting that only 3.9 to 4.8 metres of road were left for traffic and pedestrians, against prescribed widths of 10 to 12 metres. That observation was about Gurugram's plotted areas generally, not Sector 57 alone, but it describes the problem a moving truck meets in many floor-lined lanes. On 28 April 2026 Swarajya reported that the court kept the stay for Gurugram and allowed authorities to remove encroachments from public rights-of-way, with a further hearing listed for May. The case may have moved since, so check its status if you are buying or renting in a newly built floor.

The sector's edges have been cleared before. In July 2024 The Tribune reported encroachments removed from the service road dividing Sectors 50, 51 and 57, and in October 2024 a GMDA drive removed about 30 kiosks, three nurseries and other structures from master roads and green belts in Sectors 52, 52A, 53 and 57. Clear edges help only if they stay clear on your day.

Ask three questions before the survey:

• Can a full-size truck turn into your lane, or will a smaller vehicle have to shuttle goods from the corner?
• Where do the neighbours park, and can the space outside your gate be kept free for two or three hours?
• Is there a ramp, planter or step at the gate that narrows the path for a sofa?

Does a short hop to a neighbouring area change anything?

The price range stays the same; the access at the other end does not. Check it before agreeing a start time.

Moving from a floor into a tower, or the other way round, changes the day more than the distance does. Our Sector 58 costs post covers the tower side. When the old lease ends before the new home is free, goods can be held in our warehouse in between.

How can you keep a Sector 57 quote near the low end?

By removing the waiting from the day. Seven days ahead:

• To do: Share which floor you live on, whether a lift exists and how tight the stair is
• To do: Agree with neighbours to clear the stilt and the lane outside the gate
• To do: Get any society lift slot in writing, with the lift number
• To do: Switch off and drain the pump, sump or water purifier a day early
• To do: Box up small loose things yourself, or ask for a packing visit a day early
• To do: Clear out any almirah or chest that has to come apart
• To do: Check that the biggest sofa and bed will fit the new stair or lift
• To do: Fix a loading window between 10 am and 5 pm, away from school gate times
