A house shift that begins or ends in Sector 51 and stays inside Gurgaon is priced on the owner's October 2026 bands: one bedroom Rs 4,500–7,000, two bedrooms Rs 8,000–12,500 and three bedrooms Rs 12,000–15,000. The point inside each band is set less by kilometres than by stairs, society charges and the clock at Ambedkar Chowk, the junction Sector 51 shares with Sectors 45, 46 and 52.

What does a house shift in Sector 51 cost in October 2026?
These are the owner's indicative bands for moves that stay within the city, the same ones printed on our Gurgaon packers and movers page. They were last revised in October 2026.

A band is a guide, not a quote. The quote comes after a survey, in person or by video, and is built from the volume of goods, the hours the crew spends at each end and any days in storage. The table also stops at three bedrooms. NoBroker's locality page lists independent houses in Sector 51 as well as floors and apartments, and a full house with a terrace store or a basement should be surveyed before anyone names a figure. Which charges sit outside the mover's bill?
Society charges, if your building has them. A NoBrokerHood guide published on 18 September 2026 describes these fees as separate from rent, maintenance and the packers-and-movers bill, and gives these Gurgaon ranges:

The guide says there is no city-wide rate, and that the money usually pays for lift use, security, vehicle entry, the time slot and protecting common areas. In Sector 51 the body that collects it differs by address: a gated low-rise society such as Orchid Island, which Square Yards lists as ready to move in, has its own management; Mayfield Garden has a colony RWA; and the part of Nirvana Country that lies in Sector 51 follows its township's rules. Ask the right office for the fee, the deposit and the refund terms in writing, and keep the receipt.
Where do the crew hours go in a Sector 51 home?
Mostly on carrying, not on driving. Two homes a few streets apart can take very different days:

How much time can Ambedkar Chowk add?
Enough to plan around. Sectors 45, 46, 51 and 52 all meet at Ambedkar Chowk, and the planning reports give a sense of the load:
- In August 2025, Swarajya, citing The Times of India, said the junction handled about 6,100 passenger car units in peak hours.
- In November 2025, Swarajya, citing Hindustan Times, reported that a traffic survey had found average waits of more than 10 minutes at peak times.
The fix has changed shape twice. The Tribune reported in May 2026 that GMDA had floated a tender for a 900-metre, four-lane flyover. Then, on 5 July 2026, Amar Ujala reported that an earlier tender had been cancelled after local calls for an underpass as well, that a traffic study had found no underpass was needed for now, and that GMDA had issued tenders for a six-lane flyover of about 700 metres costing about Rs 35.89 crore. The paper said the structure would leave room for a future underpass, add two-lane service roads on both sides and aim to finish in two years.
We had not seen a report of work starting when we checked in October 2026. Once barricades go up, lanes will move, and a loaded truck that misses a turn cannot always loop back easily. When can the truck run?
Between the city's two no-entry windows. The Digi Pass note that GMDA hosts for the Gurugram Traffic Police names two windows, the two-hour morning peak from 8 am and the four-hour evening peak from 5 pm, when goods vehicles may not use designated roads. Because the note carries no date, treat it as the latest written position and check it again.
In practice, a Sector 51 day works best when the truck reaches your gate soon after 10 am, which also avoids the worst of the junction's peak. A floor move of two or three bedrooms has the whole middle of the day to load, cross and unload. If your new building only offers a late slot, ask whether packing can be finished the day before, so that the afternoon goes on carrying.
Is the Sector 51/52 road being repaired?
It is meant to be. On 16 June 2026 The Indian Express reported that GMDA had allotted special repair works along a 2.1 km stretch of the Sector 51/52 dividing master road, with drainage at the centre of the plan and a six-month completion target. The same report said the service roads on that corridor turn into waterlogged traps when silt and broken footpaths block the run-off.
Six months from June points to about December 2026. We had not seen a completion report when writing, so if your gate opens onto that road, look at it a day or two before the move. The monsoon guide covers the earlier model-road plan for the same stretch.
What if the other home is in a neighbouring sector?
The within-Gurgaon band still applies. What changes is the building at the other end.

How can you keep a Sector 51 quote low?
Take the waiting and the surprises out of the day. A week ahead:
- To do: Ask your RWA or estate office for its moving fee, deposit and permitted hours in writing
- To do: Tell us the floor, whether there is a lift and the narrowest turn on the stair
- To do: List store rooms, terrace items and anything in a basement
- To do: Agree where the truck will stand, away from hospital approaches
- To do: Plan to have the truck at the gate after 10 am and away well before 5 pm
- To do: Check the 51/52 road and the Ambedkar Chowk lanes two days before
- To do: Empty wardrobes and box beds so they can be taken apart quickly
