A house shift that starts or ends in Nirvana Country and stays within Gurgaon is covered by our indicative October 2026 ranges for local moves, which span Rs 4,500 for the smallest 1 BHK up to Rs 15,000 for a large 3 BHK, with a 2 BHK priced between Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,500. What decides where your move lands, or whether a large villa goes beyond them, is access: the RWA's published papers keep trucks out of the premises and limit furniture deliveries to weekday hours, so the vehicle, the day and the carry all need settling before the quote is final.
For the township itself, its villa blocks and how we pack a garden, see our Nirvana Country packers and movers page. The move-out NOC is covered in our Sohna Road moving guide. This post is about money and hours.
What does a house shift in Nirvana Country cost?
These are the owner's indicative ranges for a move inside Gurgaon, the figures our Gurgaon city page also lists. They were last set in October 2026.
| Home or vehicle | Indicative range (October 2026) | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 BHK | Rs 4,500–7,000 | Local move in Gurgaon |
| 2 BHK | Rs 8,000–12,500 | Local move in Gurgaon |
| 3 BHK | Rs 12,000–15,000 | Local move in Gurgaon |
| Car | Rs 9,000–11,500 | Distance of 50 km or less |
| Bike | Rs 3,000–7,000 | Distance of 50 km or less |
Two cautions apply here more than in most places. First, a range is a starting point, not a quote; the written figure follows a survey of the goods and both addresses. Second, the table stops at 3 BHK, and a Nirvana Country address can be anything from a tower flat in Fresco or Harmony to a whole duplex villa, according to Unitech's township page. A tower flat usually fits the table. A large villa may not, and it is better to hear that at the survey than on the day. Our household shifting page explains each stage of the crew's day.
Why can a villa cost more than a flat with the same bedrooms?
Because the bedrooms are only part of the load. A villa adds volume and hours in places a flat does not have:
- Outdoor items. Planters, garden benches, a swing, outdoor lights and a barbecue each take separate wrapping and room in the load.
- A second floor. An internal staircase means every carton from upstairs is carried twice as far, and beds and wardrobes are taken apart before they come down.
- Store rooms and terraces. These collect years of things that nobody counts when describing the home as a "3 BHK".
- A shared building. In villas where floors are let separately, the stair and driveway are shared with other households, and the crew has to work around them.
- Two-stage loading. If the full truck cannot reach the door, goods go out in a smaller vehicle first, which adds a loading and unloading round (see below).
None of this is fixed in advance. It is why a survey, in person or by video, matters more for a villa than for a flat.
Can a moving truck drive into Nirvana Country?
On the RWA's written papers, not by default, and that single point shapes the cost more than anything else. The security procedure issued for the RWA by its facility contractor, Nimbus Facility Management, effective 1 March 2019, says:
- Trucks and lorries are not allowed into the NRWA premises.
- Only vehicles registered with the management office and carrying a valid NRWA sticker are let in freely; others are checked at the gate.
- Deliveries of furniture and appliances may happen on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 9 am and 6 pm, coordinated with the management office.
- Delivery vans park in a designated area to unload.
- Inside the premises the speed limit is 20 km/h.
A separate RWA notice on construction and renovation, dated 2015, admits vehicles bringing building material on Mondays to Saturdays, 9 am to 6 pm, and rules out 10-tyre vehicles entirely.
Treat both as dated. The SOP is from 2019 and the building notice from 2015, and since 2020 the colony has been in the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram's charge, according to a January 2026 Unitech notice. Practice may have changed. Before you fix a date, write to the RWA office and ask whether a removal truck can drive up to your block, at what hours and on which days, and keep the reply.
What each answer does to the crew hours
| What the RWA allows | What happens on the day | Effect on hours |
|---|---|---|
| The truck may come to your door | Load straight from the house | Lowest; the usual case for a flat |
| Only a smaller vehicle may enter | It shuttles goods to the truck waiting outside the gate | One extra loading and unloading per trip |
| Vehicles must stop at a set point | The crew carries or trolleys goods to that point | Depends on the distance from your house |
| Weekdays only | The move falls on a working day | None, if booked early; a delay if a weekend was assumed |
A shuttle is the case to plan for. It is where a villa move gains hours, and it is cheaper to price it in at the survey than to discover it at the gate.
What adds crew hours once the crew arrives?
Small delays, repeated many times. The RWA's own procedures explain several of them.
| Stage | Where the time goes | How to save it |
|---|---|---|
| Gate | Each vehicle and crew member is entered; the guard confirms with you through the Society Connect app, and phones if you do not answer within a minute | Keep your phone at hand and tell the guard the vehicle number the day before |
| Parking | The RWA's 2015 rules forbid parking on roads and public areas | Empty your own driveway so the vehicle can stand there |
| Upstairs rooms | Dismantling beds and carrying down a turning staircase | Measure the tightest turn and send a photo before the survey |
| Garden | Draining pots and wrapping outdoor furniture | Empty and dry large pots a day or two ahead |
| Packing waste | Cartons and bubble wrap must be kept apart from other waste | Agree who sorts it and when, so the crew is not waiting |
| Second trip | A bigger load than expected | A complete inventory at the survey |
The packing waste matters more than it seems. The RWA's waste notice says mixed waste is not collected, so a pile of cardboard, thermocol and plastic left on unpacking day stays where it is unless someone sorts it.
Which day and hour should you book?
A weekday, started early, outside the traffic windows. Three things point that way:
- The RWA's delivery window. Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, in the 2019 SOP. Loading has to finish inside it, so a large villa might be packed one day and loaded the following morning.
- City truck hours. In an X reply from January 2020, Gurugram Traffic Police said heavy vehicles could not run between 8 and 10 am or between 5 and 9 pm, with the evening ban extended to 10:30 pm on Mondays and Fridays. That reply is more than six years old and covers heavy vehicles only, so check the current advisory for the size of truck booked.
- Rain. In March 2026 Swarajya reported, citing the Hindustan Times, that road and drainage work in Nirvana Country (Sector 50) was among the projects the corporation prioritised before the monsoon. A year earlier, after rain on 31 July 2025, The Tribune reported Sohna Road badly waterlogged. For a July or August move, hold a spare day.
If the dates slip between leaving and arriving, the goods can wait in storage, priced by volume and days.
Does anything change if you are moving next door?
The price band stays the same within Gurgaon. The rules at the other end change, and they deserve the same written check.
| Moving to | Our page | What to plan for there |
|---|---|---|
| South City 2 | South City 2 | Unitech's page shows apartments, villas, floors and plots in the township; ask your block which applies |
| Other homes in Sector 50 | Sector 50 | Group housing has its own lift booking and gate pass |
| Sector 51 | Sector 51 | See our Sector 51 monsoon guide before a rainy-season date |
| Sector 49 | Sector 49 | Our Sector 49 rules post covers its permissions |
| Malibu Towne | Malibu Towne | Its own website lists plots, a condominium and independent floors |
| Nirvana Country 2 | Gurgaon | A different Unitech township in Sector 71; give the full address |
If you are weighing Sector 48 instead, our Sector 48 cost guide covers the towers across Sohna Road.
What should you ask the RWA before the survey?
Put these to the RWA office by email or letter, and share the reply with the mover:
- To do: May a household-goods truck enter, and up to what size?
- To do: If not, where may it stand, and may a smaller vehicle shuttle to it?
- To do: Are moves allowed on Saturdays and Sundays, or only on weekdays?
- To do: What does the gate need: vehicle number, crew names, ID copies?
- To do: Is a deposit or fee charged for a move?
- To do: For leavers, how long does the NOC take now, and which dues must be cleared first?
Key takeaway
In Nirvana Country the price follows access. Ask the RWA in writing whether a truck may reach your block and on which days, then book a weekday morning and price any shuttle at the survey.
When you have the answers, send them with your quote request along with both addresses and your preferred date.
