Shifting Within or Near Sector 47: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

If your move begins or ends in Sector 47 and stays inside Gurgaon, our indicative October 2026 prices start at Rs 4,500 for a small 1 BHK and reach Rs 15,000 for a large 3 BHK, with a 2 BHK in between at Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,500. Within each range, the kind of home decides most of the bill, because a stair-only Malibu Towne floor, a large tower flat and a plotted house on an HSVP lane each eat crew hours in different ways.

What does a house shift in Sector 47 cost?

Flat size matters as much as the bedroom count. Property listings show how far apart two "3 BHK" homes in this one sector can be: 360 Realtors lists Uniworld Gardens 2 with one- to three-bedroom flats of about 719 to 1,355 sq ft, while it lists Bestech Park View Spa with 416 flats of three and four bedrooms at roughly 2,995 to 3,495 sq ft. The bigger of those homes normally holds more furniture and fills more cartons, and the day runs longer, so expect it to price nearer the top of its band.

Which Sector 47 homes take the most crew hours?

The homes in this sector fall into four groups, and each sets a different pace.

A floor in Malibu Towne often looks like the cheap option because there is no lift to book. In practice a second- or third-floor home with heavy pieces can need more hands than a tower flat of the same size, since every item is carried. A tower flat swings the other way: the carrying is easy, but a short lift slot shared with other residents can force a bigger crew so loading finishes in time.

Where does the truck stand at each kind of address?

As near the door or the service lift as the street or society allows, and off the main carriageway. In Sector 47 that depends on who looks after the road outside your home.

• Malibu Towne and Mayfield Garden. Both were among nine developer colonies that the DTCP ordered transferred to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram on 9 May 2022, Hindustan Times reported. In July 2024, Constro Facilitator reported that Mayfield Garden's handover was still held up and that residents complained of potholed roads. • Tower societies. The facility office names the loading point. In a big complex it can sit well away from your block, and each box has to cover that distance on foot.
• Near the hospital. Cloudnine gives its address as MSJ House on Vikas Marg, beside SS Plaza in Mayfield Garden. A truck loading near there should stand well clear of the frontage, which can slow a move on that stretch.
• Plotted lanes. The truck parks in the lane beside the house. Telling neighbours a day ahead keeps their cars out of the way, which saves more time than any other single step.

How do Subhash Chowk and the metro works change the clock?

They decide when the truck can drive, and how long the drive takes.

Daily windows. A Gurugram Traffic Police explainer on the Vehicle Movement Digi Pass, hosted by GMDA, keeps goods vehicles off listed roads in the morning peak, until ten, and through the evening, from five to nine. The note carries no date, so check whether those hours still apply to your truck. For most moves, it means loading in the late morning and finishing before the evening window.

Metro construction. Wikipedia's Gurugram Metro article names both Sector 47 and Subhash Chowk as future stations. Construction began in November 2025, and the article gives 2028 as the expected opening year. Until then, lanes on that stretch can narrow without much notice.

Sudden road damage. On 7 January 2025 The Tribune reported a cave-in on the Sector 47 road outside a petrol pump, where traffic was being diverted, caused by a leaking municipal water main. A closure like that turns a ten-minute drive into a detour, so the route is worth checking the evening before.

What costs extra in the rainy months?

Materials and, sometimes, a spare day. In its August 2025 list of places that flood every monsoon, The Tribune again named Sectors 47 and 48 along with Subhash Chowk and Sohna Road. Between July and September, extra plastic film and waterproof sheets for sofas and mattresses add to the packing materials. If a downpour forces a new date, or the new home is not ready, goods can wait in storage, which is charged by the number of days. Name a reserve day when you ask for the quote, so both dates are planned from the start.

What changes when you move to a neighbouring sector?

Moving next door costs the same band as crossing the city. What changes is the access at the other end, so plan the destination as carefully as the start.

What should you have ready before asking for a quote?

A clear brief gets a tighter figure. Have these ready when you call:

• To do: Both addresses with colony, block and nearest landmark, not only "Sector 47"
• To do: The floor at each end, and whether there is a lift you can book
• To do: Large or awkward items: a piano, a double-door fridge, a stone dining table
• To do: Whether you will pack some cartons yourself
