Moving house from Sector 70 to another Gurgaon address is priced, in our owner's indicative October 2026 ranges, at Rs 4,500–7,000 for a one-bedroom flat, Rs 8,000–12,500 for a two-bedroom and Rs 12,000–15,000 for a three-bedroom. Where your move lands inside those bands depends less on kilometres than on the kind of home: a tower flat in Tulip Orange, a four-level villa in Tulip Ivory, a studio in Tulip Aqua and an independent floor across the road in Sector 70A each use crew hours in a different way.

Our Sector 70 moving page explains how we approach the sector from the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) and where the truck waits. This post covers the money and the working day: which part of the range fits your home, what stretches the crew's hours, and what changes if the goods are going on to Delhi.

What does house shifting in Sector 70 cost?

These are pre-survey figures set by our owner and dated October 2026. The same ranges appear on our Gurgaon city page.

Size of home Inside Gurgaon, indicative (Oct 2026)
Studio or 1 BHK Rs 4,500–7,000
2 BHK Rs 8,000–12,500
3 BHK Rs 12,000–15,000

Taking a car along, up to 50 km, adds Rs 9,000–11,500 on the same price list, and a motorbike Rs 3,000–7,000. Four-bedroom flats, duplexes, penthouses and villas sit outside the bands and are priced once surveyed. Our Gurgaon charges guide has the intercity ranges, and vehicle moves are covered on the car transport page.

Distance barely moves the number. Taking the midpoint of each sector as drawn on OpenStreetMap, Sector 69 is about 1.5 km from the middle of Sector 70 and Sector 70A about 1.6 km. Even Sector 110, where our head office is, lies only about 12 km away in a straight line. On trips this short, the hours go on packing, lifts and stairs.

Which part of the range fits your Sector 70 home?

Look at the kind of home first. Sector 70 and its neighbour 70A hold four quite different kinds:

Kind of home Developer's description Where the hours go Likely place in the range
Tulip Orange flat Eleven towers of 3 BHK, A1–A3 and B1–B8; around 500 families Lift queues in a busy society Middle of the 3 BHK band; higher on short lift slots
Tulip Ivory tower flat Six towers of 4 BHK in two rows of three; penthouses and duplexes of about 4,600 sq ft Large rooms, internal stairs in duplexes Survey
Tulip Ivory villa 48 villas in three rows of sixteen, ground plus two over a basement Four levels, two lawns, a stair for every carton Survey
Tulip Aqua studio Studio apartments Few items, one trip Lower part of the 1 BHK band
Astaire Gardens floor or villa (Sector 70A) 3 and 4 BHK independent floors and villas, plus plots Stairs instead of a society lift 3 BHK band for a floor; survey for a villa

The Orange figures are from Tulip's Orange page, and the Ivory details from its Ivory page. Tulip's project list shows Aqua as completed studio apartments. BPTP's post of 1 April 2025 places Astaire Gardens in Sector 70A, just off the SPR, with independent floors, villas, apartments and plots inside one gated township.

Why does a Tulip Ivory villa take longer than its floor area suggests?

Because the house is spread over four levels, and very little of it can go out in a single stack. Tulip lists, for each villa, a basement, a ground floor with the living and dining rooms, kitchen and a bedroom, and two upper floors with bedrooms, lounges, balconies, terraces, a puja room and a home theatre. There is a front lawn and a rear lawn as well.

Three things to sort out before the survey:

  • The lift shaft. Tulip's description of the ground floor mentions "a staircase and an elevator shaft". Check whether your villa has a working lift in that shaft, how big its car is, and whether the owner lets it carry goods. If not, every carton goes by stair.
  • The home theatre. Screens, speakers and recliners on an upper floor are fragile and heavy. List them, and say whether anything is fixed to the wall.
  • The lawns and terraces. Planters, swings and outdoor furniture add a load that a flat move never has.

As our area page sets out, we pack the basement first so that heavy stored items go up the stair before the rooms above fill with cartons. Ivory's villas face the main entrance road, which tower traffic also uses, so the truck's stop there is kept short.

What uses up crew hours in a busy tower like Tulip Orange?

Lift time, mostly. Tulip says around 500 families live across Orange's eleven towers, so the lift you book is one that neighbours also want. A three-bedroom move that gets the service lift for one long, clear stretch finishes far sooner than one squeezed into two short windows with residents in between.

Before you ask for a quote, find out:

  • To do: The lift the facility office assigns to goods, with its door width and inside depth
  • To do: Your booked slot at each address, confirmed in writing
  • To do: Whether the lift is held for you or shared with residents during the booking
  • To do: Which tower entrance the facility office wants furniture to use

The same checks apply in Ivory's six towers, where four-bedroom flats and duplexes add more furniture and, in a duplex, a flight of internal stairs.

Does the building work around Sector 70 affect your moving day?

It can. Two big projects are going up inside the sector. Wikipedia's table of Gurgaon's tall buildings has Tulip Crimson, five towers of 36 floors in Sector 70, with completion expected in 2031, and Tulip Melrose, four towers of 39 floors in the same sector, expected in 2032. Material lorries for those sites use the same sector roads as a moving truck.

That does not change the price band, but it can change the hour. Tell us your society's gate and which way it opens onto the road, and ask the guards whether site deliveries bunch at a particular time. The Tribune counted Sector 70 among the sectors on the 16 km SPR corridor in January 2026; our area page covers how the truck gets on and off that road, and our Sector 70 monsoon guide covers wet-season dates.

Which rules apply if the goods go on to Delhi?

The emission rule for trucks changes this month. On 30 September 2026 WION reported that Delhi has, since 1 November 2025, let in goods vehicles from outside the city only when they meet the BS-VI emission standard or use CNG, LNG or battery power. BS-IV trucks were allowed a year to adjust, and that year runs out on 31 October 2026. The same report said that under the two strictest stages of Delhi's winter pollution plan, BS-IV and older goods vehicles no longer escape the curbs because they carry essential goods.

A Delhi destination moves our October 2026 bands to Rs 7,000–8,000 (1 BHK), Rs 10,000–13,500 (2 BHK) and Rs 14,000–16,500 (3 BHK). For a Sector 70 to Delhi move booked for November or later, ask which class of truck is coming, and recheck the rule a few days before. Delhi's own hours and paperwork are in our Delhi house-shifting guide and our guide to moving between Delhi and Gurgaon.

Moving nearby: what matters at the destination?

Plenty of Sector 70 moves end a few kilometres away, in a neighbouring sector or a colony off Sohna Road. The price band is unchanged, yet the receiving building sets half the timetable:

Going to Page Settle first
Sector 69 Sector 69 The exact Tulip society and gate, since several names sound alike
Sector 68 Sector 68 A lift booking that starts after your loading ends
Sector 67 Sector 67 Tall-tower lift slots and the facility office's move hours
Sohna Road colonies Sohna Road Where the truck can stand outside a gated colony
South City 2 South City 2 Stairs in a plotted house or builder floor

If you must return the old keys before the new home is ready, storage can bridge the gap. For life in the sector after the move, read our Sector 70 newcomer's guide.

How do you keep the figure toward the bottom of the band?

The cheapest hour is the one the crew doesn't spend waiting, so settle these first:

  • To do: Book the largest lift your tower allows, for one unbroken window
  • To do: Measure lift doors and list the pieces that must come apart
  • To do: Name the society, tower or villa number and the gate when you ask for a quote
  • To do: For an Ivory villa, confirm whether its lift works and may carry goods
  • To do: Ask for a survey for a duplex, penthouse or villa
  • To do: Moving into Delhi in November or later? Ask whether the truck meets BS-VI or uses CNG, LNG or battery power
  • To do: Pack books and clothes yourself if you like, and give away what you won't use

Our household shifting page lists the packing and loading work at each address. Once you know the tower, floor and date, share them with us along with both addresses to get a written figure.

This is general information. Every rupee amount above is an indicative October 2026 range, not a quote, and lift rules, nearby building work and Delhi's truck restrictions may all change before you move.
