Shifting Within or Near DLF Phase 5: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

On the owner's October 2026 ranges, a Gurgaon-to-Gurgaon house move from or near DLF Phase 5 runs from Rs 4,500 for the smallest 1 BHK to Rs 15,000 for the largest 3 BHK; a typical 2 BHK sits in the Rs 8,000–12,500 band. Many Phase 5 flats are larger than those bands cover, though, and in every tower the time on the road matters less than the building: how many lifts carry goods, how the lobby is secured, and which gate the truck may use.

What do Phase 5 house moves cost in October 2026?

Radhe Shyam, our owner, fixed these indicative ranges in October 2026, and our Gurgaon packers and movers page carries them too. Both homes must be in Gurgaon for them to apply.

The fourth row is the one most Phase 5 families land on. Listings for the phase's mid-rise condominiums show why:

• The Icon, Sector 43. RealEstateIndia's project page lists two four-bedroom types, of 2,575 and 2,750 sq ft, across 364 flats in five blocks of 18 to 20 floors.
• DLF Pinnacle, Sector 43. The same portal gives four- and five-bedroom flats of 4,000 to 6,700 sq ft.
• Westend Heights. Houssed counts 368 flats in five towers of 20 floors on about 8 acres.

Smaller homes do exist: DLF's compliance report for Phase V counts 360 dwelling units for service personnel and 378 flats for economically weaker sections alongside the 4,175 main apartments. What uses up crew hours in a Phase 5 tower?

Lift trips and the waiting between them. We size the crew by the number of trips the service lift must make, not by the volume of goods alone, and four things decide that number here:

The fix for each is a phone call before the day. Ask the estate office whether the service lift can be held for your slot, whether a guard can open the card doors or issue a temporary card, and where the staff room's goods should be collected. If the service lift is the only one goods may use, ask what happens if it breaks down mid-move.

Which gate does the truck use, and where does it wait?

The one the estate office names, and probably not the one you drive through. DLF's compliance report says each building in Phase V has a separate entry route and exit route for vehicles, and the environmental clearance it answers to asked that parking be "fully internalized", with no public space used and no congestion near the entry and exit points. The phase has 11,948 parking spaces, in surface lots and basements, by DLF's count.

For a move, that means three things:

1. Two gate names, not one. Send the driver the entry gate and the exit gate, so the loaded truck is not turned back at a barrier meant only for arrivals.
2. No waiting on the road. A truck that arrives early has nowhere to stand outside, so ask the estate office when it may come in and plan the drive to reach the gate then.
3. A loading point inside. Usually a porch, a service area or a basement bay. A basement bay can have limited headroom, so we check its clearance before choosing the vehicle.

On a move between two Phase 5 towers, the truck leaves by one building's exit route and enters the next by its entry route. Each estate office issues its own pass, so ask both for the vehicle number and crew details they want, and fix the later slot first.

What time of day can the truck run?

Outside the city's two curfews on commercial vehicles. Gurugram's traffic police restrict them on designated roads twice a day, 8–10 am and 5–9 pm, says the Digi Pass note that GMDA hosts. The note is undated, so confirm the hours shortly before the move. Your society's move window then narrows the day further, and our crews are out Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 9 pm.

Two seasonal risks are worth planning around:

• Rain on Golf Course Road. On the morning after the downpour of 6 August 2026, when the city logged 117 mm, the Sector 54 Chowk to Ghata stretch was still slow, India.com reported. In July and August keep the next day free, and we check that stretch after a wet night before the truck sets off.
• Delhi's truck rules in winter. If the new home is across the border, note the date in a WION report of 30 September 2026: goods vehicles from outside Delhi that meet only BS-IV may enter until 31 October 2026, and not after. Does a move to a nearby sector change the plan?

Not the price band, since the drive is short. The building at the other end changes the hours.

If the new flat is not ready when the old one must be handed back, part of the load can wait in our warehouse. A car moving on the same day can go by our car transport service.

What keeps the quote towards the bottom of its range?

Take the waiting out of the day before it starts. A week ahead:

• To do: Book the service lift for the whole slot at both towers, in writing
• To do: Ask for a guard or temporary access cards for the lift lobbies
• To do: Send us the entry and exit gate names, and the loading point at each end
• To do: Note the inside size of the service lift and its door opening, and list any piece that cannot be taken apart
• To do: List anything in a staff room or storeroom away from the flat
• To do: Empty wardrobes and beds so they can be dismantled quickly
• To do: For a Delhi address after 31 October 2026, ask the truck's emission class
• To do: In the monsoon, agree a reserve date with both estate offices
