Shifting Within or Near Manesar: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

A house shifting job in Manesar is priced against our October 2026 local bands: Rs 4,500 is the floor for a one-bedroom home and Rs 7,000 its ceiling; a two-bedroom move sits between Rs 8,000 and 12,500, a three-bedroom one between Rs 12,000 and 15,000. Where your quote lands inside that band, and how many hours the crew needs, depends less on kilometres than on what kind of home you are leaving: a flat in an IMT sector, a floor in a town building, company housing or a single room in a village lane.

How much does house shifting in Manesar cost?

A note on comparing quotes. Booking apps for Manesar advertise "starting at" figures, while directory sites publish charts by distance band. Neither shows what a particular flat needs. Before you compare, ask each mover the same questions: how many people come, what packing material is included, who dismantles and refits the beds, and whether unloading and placing furniture at the new address is part of the price.

Which Manesar homes take the longest to move?

The large flats and the hardest-to-reach rooms. The town has four quite different kinds of household address, and each one changes the crew's day in its own way:

The village rooms are a large share of the housing here. Wikipedia counts about 300,000 people working in Manesar's industrial units, some 200,000 of whom live in the town. Voice of America described Kasan, next to Maruti Suzuki's plant, in October 2019 as a place of narrow lanes and buildings let one room at a time. A room move there is small, but the walk can take longer than the loading.

What stretches crew hours on a Manesar move?

Waiting, carrying and the highway, in roughly that order:

• The stair, not the lift. In a town building without a goods lift, a 2 BHK may mean dozens of trips up and down one staircase. Let us know the floor, and whether other tenants climb the same stair.
• Shift change at the plants. Most households here work in industry. If your own family or a colleague must sign off the flat, fix the loading time around their shift so the crew is not waiting at a locked door.
• Power for the lift. In June 2026 The Tribune reported that factory owners in the IMT had long faced unscheduled cuts and voltage swings in summer. In a flat on a high floor, ask whether the lift runs on backup.
• Dismantling. Wardrobes and beds that will not fit the lift or stair take time to open and refit. Measuring the lift door and stair landing in advance saves guessing on the day.

Which road works should you check before the date?

Three dated items affect a truck coming in or going out:

1. Kherki Daula toll. On 20 July 2026 Construction World reported that the NH-48 plaza would move to Kukdola, near Pachgaon, about 13 km from where it stands. Work was to start the following month and take around six months, with a 14-lane free-flow plaza reading FASTag without booths. Until it opens, the old plaza stays on the run between Gurgaon and Manesar; check which one is operating in the week you move.
2. Rampura service lane. The Tribune reported that GMDA's drain work would keep the Jaipur-bound service road below Rampura Chowk flyover, running towards IMT Manesar, shut from 18 August until 15 October 2026. We found no report of it reopening, so check before the truck relies on it.
3. Dadi Sati Chowk. A move between Manesar and the New Gurgaon sectors often uses the sector road past this junction. On 5 July 2026 Amar Ujala reported that a six-lane, roughly 840-metre flyover there had gone out to tender, with a two-year target. Once work begins, expect barricades and slower turns.

Inside the township, the road to an IMT plot is HSIIDC's to maintain, according to HSIIDC's township page and the report cited on our Manesar page; raise a broken approach well before the date.

What changes when you move a short way out of Manesar?

How are several staff homes on one transfer priced?

One at a time, inside one plan. When a plant or office transfers several people together, the households share a schedule and a single contact for HR, but each family's goods are packed and labelled apart, and every home is quoted separately on what it holds and where it goes. How can you keep a Manesar quote low in the range?

Most savings come from removing waiting time:

• To do: Share the sector, village or building name with a nearby landmark road, and the floor at each end.
• To do: Say whether there is a goods lift, a passenger lift only, or a stair.
• To do: Measure the lift door and the stair landing for your largest piece.
• To do: Pack books, clothes and kitchen items into labelled cartons yourself, if you have time.
• To do: Sell or give away what you will not use; fewer pieces mean fewer trips.
• To do: Fix a loading time when someone who can sign off the flat is free from shift work.
• To do: Should the next home be unfinished on the day, ask about storage rather than a second moving day.
