Moving to Dwarka Sector 10 puts you in a sector of cooperative society flats with its own Blue Line station, a court complex on one edge and eleven schools mapped within about 1.5 km of its centre. NoBroker's October 2026 pages put a society 3 BHK at Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 a month, and from 1 November any truck coming from Gurgaon must meet Delhi's BS-VI entry rule.

Which address details will you need on day one?
Write PIN 110075 on every form. India Post's data, checked on 28 October 2026, ties the number to three offices:

The third one surprises newcomers. It carries the name of the courts in your own sector, but it does not deliver, so letters for your flat come through one of the two delivering offices. NoBroker's listings for the sector also print 110075, which matches.
Add your plot number and the society's name to the address line. Sector 10 has dozens of separate cooperative societies, and couriers and cab drivers find you by the society name far more reliably than by the sector alone.
Which CGHS centre and hospitals will you use?
If anyone in the family holds a Central Government Health Scheme card, your centre is in the next sector. A CGHS North Zone notification of 12 February 2019 assigned Dwarka Sectors 1 to 14 to the Sector 9 wellness centre, D-36A, when a new centre in Sector 23 took over Sectors 15 to 26. Coming from a sector above 14, you are crossing that line, so ask CGHS how to move the card before repeat prescriptions run out; the centre can confirm the current process.
For hospitals, the distances below are as the crow flies on OpenStreetMap, from the point the map gives as the sector's centre, using data of 27 October 2026. By road, each trip is longer.

The map also marks a government dispensary about 0.26 km from the centre. In your first week, save the phone numbers of one private hospital and Indira Gandhi Hospital, and ask your insurer which of them admit patients cashless.
How will you get around?
Mostly by metro. The Dwarka Sector 10 station is elevated, has parking and has been on the Blue Line since 1 April 2006, with Dwarka Sector 9 on one side and Dwarka Sector 11 on the other. On the same OpenStreetMap data:

For the airport, ride three stops west to Dwarka Sector 21, where the Blue Line ends and the Airport Express begins. In the other direction, Platform 1 serves trains towards Noida Electronic City and Vaishali, the two far ends of the line.

Which schools are within walking distance?
Several, and you may be able to walk your child to the gate. These OpenStreetMap distances run from the sector's centre:

The map gives no boards, fees or vacancies. Arriving mid-session? Phone the admissions office before you sign the lease, and ask three things: is there a seat in your child's class, does a transfer certificate from Haryana or another state need countersigning, and does the school bus enter your society's gate. With so many school gates in one sector, expect busy lanes at opening and closing times.
Where do you shop, bank and post a letter?
Within about 1.5 km. On OpenStreetMap the Sector 9 market is about 0.73 km from the centre, with Organic Acre at about 1.06 km, Aap ka Bazar at 1.26 km, Vishal Mega Mart at 1.37 km and a Reliance Fresh Signature at 1.47 km.
Bank branches cluster a little further out, between about 1.3 and 1.5 km, where the map shows RBL, Kotak Mahindra, IndusInd, ICICI, Bank of India, State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank. Dwarka Police Station is mapped about 2.15 km away. Once you hold a signed rent agreement, ask your branch which address proof it accepts.
What does a flat in Sector 10 rent for?
NoBroker publishes separate pages for one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom homes. On 28 October 2026 they showed these October figures:

Read these with care. The counts are tiny, and the two-bedroom page mixes in homes from Sectors 9, 11 and 19, which explains the very low bottom of its range. Maintenance on these listings ran from Rs 1,800 to Rs 4,000 a month, so ask what it covers: lifts, generator backup, water pumping, guards. Write into the agreement who pays it, the notice period and the society's own charges for a tenant moving in. Society papers and moving-day rules are covered in our Sector 10 rules post.
Which Delhi truck rules apply to a move this winter?
Several, and they change on 1 November. This is the position as published by 28 October 2026:

In practice, a Gurgaon-registered truck needs BS-VI papers or a CNG or electric engine from 1 November. Ask your mover which vehicle is booked, and keep its registration certificate and pollution certificate in the cab.

What should you settle in the first month?
- To do: Put PIN 110075, the plot number and the society name on your bank, Aadhaar and school forms.
- To do: If you hold a CGHS card, ask the D-36A centre in Sector 9 how to register the new address.
- To do: Save the routes to Indira Gandhi Hospital and one private hospital.
- To do: Get a metro card topped up and learn the Sector 21 change for the airport.
- To do: Confirm school seats and bus pick-up points before term restarts.
- To do: Ask the society office for its maintenance bill and the name of the committee member who handles tenants.
- To do: Note which days the court complex is busy, and plan deliveries around them.
