Shifting Within or Near Sector 84: Costs, Crew Hours and Access

A house shift within Sector 84, or between it and another part of Gurgaon, falls in the indicative ranges that our owner fixed in October 2026: Rs 4,500–7,000 when the home is a 1 BHK and Rs 8,000–12,500 when it is a 2 BHK, while a 3 BHK costs Rs 12,000–15,000. Where your bill lands inside that range depends on the kind of building you live in, because Sector 84 mixes crowded affordable towers, large-format societies, low-rise floors and a 45-storey project still being built.

How much does a house shift in or near Sector 84 cost?

These indicative figures apply wherever both homes are in Gurgaon, and they match what our Gurgaon city page has carried since October 2026.

Vehicles are priced on their own. For one carried no more than 50 km, the October 2026 ranges are Rs 9,000–11,500 to carry a car and Rs 3,000–7,000 to carry a motorbike. Which Sector 84 homes take the most crew hours?

The ones where the crew waits. Driving inside New Gurgaon takes little of the day; lifts, stairs and long carries take most of it. Sector 84 has five quite different kinds of home:

The contrast inside one sector is wide. On CommonFloor's page for Pivotal Devaan, a 1 BHK has 237 sq ft of carpet area and a 2 BHK between 400 and 550 sq ft. A small flat is quick to pack, but with 896 households on one site, the lift is rarely free for long. At Gurgaon One 84, flats are much bigger (Square Yards gives sizes from 1,270 sq ft), so the job is more furniture and longer carries.

Lift or stairs: what should you find out before the quote?

The answers to a few questions decide the crew size and the hours more than the address does. Find them out before you ask for a figure:

• To do: Lift car size. Measure the inside of the service lift and its door opening. A sofa or a double-door fridge that will not fit must go down the stairs or be taken apart.
• To do: Booking length. Ask the maintenance office for the whole loading window, not a single hour, and get the lift number in writing.
• To do: Backup power. Check whether the service lift runs on the generator during a cut, so a crew is not left waiting between floors.
• To do: Floor number and stairs. For a floor or a plotted house, say which level you are on and whether there is a private lift. Note how wide the stairs are at the narrowest turn.
• To do: Distance to the truck. Ask where goods vehicles are allowed to stand and how far that is from your lobby or front door.

For a high-rise that has only just been handed over, add one more: confirm that the service lift has been commissioned and that contractors are not booking it for fit-out work on your date.

Where will the truck stand at a Sector 84 home?

As close to the service lift or the front door as the society allows, and off the main carriageways. Three things decide it in Sector 84:

1. Which gate. Square Yards' layout notes for Gurgaon One 84 show entrances on both its western and eastern boundary roads, with the wider eastern road serving the main facilities. Many societies send goods vehicles through one gate only, so ask which one before the day.
2. The service roads. On the Sector 84/88 dividing road, the stretch from Elan Miracle to Dadi Sati Chowk had a freshly resurfaced carriageway by June 2025, according to The Tribune, yet about 5 km of service roads beside it were stalled by nearly 30 encroachments. Check whether the service road near your gate is open now; if it is not, a truck cannot wait on the side of the main road.
3. The approach to your society. In August 2024 residents of four Sector 84 societies protested about a cratered approach road. Land for new 24-metre sector roads was still being acquired in September 2026, so those roads are some way off. Where the last stretch is too rough or narrow for a large truck, a smaller vehicle making two trips does the job.

What paperwork does a Sector 84 move need?

A pass from the society at each end, and, if you own the home you are leaving, clear civic dues. In order:

1. Settle maintenance dues. An office will usually refuse the exit pass until every bill is paid.
2. Apply for the exit pass. Share the moving date, the vehicle number and who will lead the crew and drive.
3. Book the service lift for the whole loading window, at both addresses.
4. Tell the receiving society. Even a move two sectors away needs an entry pass at the new gate.
5. Owners: check property tax. MC Manesar says Sector 84 came into its area on 16 December 2022. Haryana's ULB property portal is where you find the property ID and pay dues, which a buyer may ask to see cleared.

Moving to a sector nearby: what changes?

The price range does not change for a move inside Gurgaon, but the destination can lengthen or shorten the day. Sector 84 jobs are run by the Maxx Relocation branch in Nawada Fatehpur, Sector 86 (Plot No 168), which is itself one of the destinations below.

How can you keep the cost low in the range?

Take hours off the day itself:

• To do: Get the service lift held in writing at both addresses.
• To do: Measure the lift and the stairs, and send the figures with your enquiry.
• To do: Sell or donate what the new home has no room for; each carton left behind is one less lift trip.
• To do: Pack books, clothes and kitchenware yourself if you want, and label each carton by room.
• To do: Choose a weekday morning, away from school opening and closing times near DPS Sector 84.
• To do: If the new flat is late, book storage rather than paying for two moving days.
