House shifting from Sector 106 to somewhere else in Gurgaon is priced on our owner's October 2026 bands: Rs 4,500–7,000 covers a one-bedroom flat, a two-bedroom flat comes to Rs 8,000–12,500 and a three-bedroom flat to Rs 12,000–15,000. The exact point inside each band is decided less by the kilometres than by the height of your tower, the lift you are given and the road your truck can actually use to reach the gate.
Sector 106 is an unusual place to price a move. Its towers run from 18 to 34 floors, two of the sector roads that touch it were still not joined to the Dwarka Expressway when last reported, and the Delhi boundary lies about a kilometre from its centre. This post takes each of those in turn. How we run the day itself, from the lift booking to unpacking, is set out by our team of packers and movers in Sector 106 Gurgaon.
What are the price bands, and what do they leave out?
These are the owner's indicative figures, published on our Gurgaon city page and fixed in October 2026. They are a starting point, not a quote.
| Home, with a Sector 106 example | Sector 106 to elsewhere in Gurgaon | Sector 106 to Delhi |
|---|---|---|
| One bedroom, such as a one-bedroom at Godrej Prive | Rs 4,500–7,000 | Rs 7,000–8,000 |
| Two bedrooms, such as a compact two-bedroom at MRG The Skyline | Rs 8,000–12,500 | Rs 10,000–13,500 |
| Three bedrooms, such as a three-bedroom at Paras Dews or Meridien | Rs 12,000–15,000 | Rs 14,000–16,500 |
| Four or more, such as the largest Paras Dews or Golf Avenue homes | Survey first | Survey first |
Vehicles are listed apart from the household bands: within 50 km the owner's figure for a car is Rs 9,000–11,500, while a motorbike costs Rs 3,000–7,000. How a vehicle travels is covered on our car transport page. Longer routes out of the city are in our Gurgaon moving charges guide.
Other published figures can confuse more than they help. Sulekha's page for the sector, listed as current on 24 October 2026, prices moves by distance, starting with Rs 4,000–8,000 for a 2 BHK going up to 5 km. Its Sector 111 page carries exactly the same table, so it describes Gurgaon in general and not this sector. For a move inside the corridor, most of the day goes on floors and lifts, not on the road.
How do Sector 106's towers change the crew's day?
Height and the number of households sharing each lift do most of the work. Houssed, a property portal, gives these figures for the main ready-to-move projects; we read them on 25 October 2026. The homes-per-tower column is our own division of its totals, so treat it as a rough guide.
| Project | Towers and floors (Houssed) | Homes listed | Homes per tower, roughly | What it tends to mean on moving day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Godrej Prive | 4 towers, 34 floors | 438 | About 110 | Long lift runs from upper floors; ask how many service lifts each tower has |
| Godrej Meridien | 7 towers, 34 floors, podium parking | 700 | About 100 | Cars park on a podium, so ask where a truck may load |
| MRG The Skyline | 12 towers, 26 floors | 1,334 | About 111 | Compact 2 BHK flats of roughly 620–630 sq ft carpet: lighter loads, busy lifts |
| Paras Dews | 6 towers, 24 floors | 724 | About 121 | Mid-height towers, but the most homes per tower in this list |
| 106 Golf Avenue | 9 towers, 18 floors | 640 | About 71 | The lowest towers and fewest homes per tower here |
Two effects follow. The first is the floor. A full lift load leaving the 30th floor spends far longer in the shaft than one from the 8th, and a two- or three-bedroom flat needs many trips. If your slot is short and your flat is high, the answer is extra crew on the landing, which is why the same 2 BHK can sit at the bottom of its band in one tower and near the top in another.
The second is the queue. In a tower of a hundred or more homes, moving in and moving out compete with deliveries and interior work for the same lift. A slot confirmed in writing, at both ends if the new home is also in a tower, does more to hold the price than anything else you can arrange.
MRG The Skyline is the odd one out. Its flats are small, so the load is light, but with roughly 111 households to each tower, the lift rather than the packing can set the pace. Ask the estate office for the first slot of the morning.
Who controls the gate, and where may the truck stand?
The society does, through its guard desk and estate office, and the answers differ from one project to the next. Before the day, get four things in writing:
- The gate. Which entrance takes goods vehicles, and whether it is the one nearest your tower. In a twelve-tower project such as MRG The Skyline, the answer can add a long walk.
- The standing spot. Whether a truck may stop at the tower drop-off, on an internal road or only outside the boundary. Where cars park on a podium, as Houssed notes at Godrej Meridien, a loaded truck usually cannot follow, so measure the walk from the lift to the vehicle.
- The pass. What the guards need: usually crew names, the vehicle number and the flat number, sent a day ahead.
- The hours. Some societies allow moves only in set windows. Gurgaon also has city-wide no-entry hours for goods vehicles, which our Sector 113 cost guide sets out with its source.
Every extra 50 metres between lift and truck is walked again with each carton and each piece of furniture. If the only allowed spot is far from your tower, say so when you ask for a quote.
Which road gets the truck to your gate?
Not necessarily the one your map suggests. Swarajya reported on 11 January 2026 that the 103–106 and 106–109 sector roads were among those still not connected to the expressway, held up by a 30-metre green-belt strip that had not been acquired. A route drawn straight from the expressway to your society may end at that gap.
The service lanes are the other half of the picture. On 6 June 2026 Swarajya quoted GMDA as saying that 27 km of two-lane service roads along both sides of the expressway were 70 per cent built, with September 2026 as the target and some land still to be acquired. We have not seen a report confirming the work finished; check before relying on it.
In practice we confirm the open approach to your gate the day before, and tell the driver which turn to take. For rain on the day, our Sector 106 monsoon and summer guide covers what flooded where.
What does moving into Delhi from Sector 106 add?
More than the short distance suggests. Measured between OpenStreetMap's point for the sector and the nearest stretch of the Delhi boundary, the gap is about 1 km, yet a truck still has to cross on a road, pay what that road charges and meet Delhi's rules. Four items belong on the checklist, each to be rechecked close to your date:
- The band. The Delhi column of the table applies: Rs 10,000–13,500 for a 2 BHK, against Rs 8,000–12,500 inside Gurgaon.
- The toll. NHAI started collecting tolls at the expressway's Bijwasan plaza, The Tribune reported on 12 November 2025. The fares quoted were for cars; ask what a goods vehicle pays.
- Delhi's entry charge. According to The Tribune of 9 May 2026, the Environment Compensation Charge went up from 1 April 2026 to Rs 2,000 for light commercial vehicles and two-axle trucks, and Rs 4,000 for three-axle and heavier ones.
- The truck's engine. WION wrote on 30 September 2026 that goods vehicles registered outside Delhi have needed to be BS-VI, CNG, LNG or electric since 1 November 2025, with BS-IV trucks given a grace year ending 31 October 2026. It added that BS-IV light and medium goods vehicles now face curbs whenever GRAP Stage III is in force. A move booked for November should name the truck's emission class.
Ask any mover whether the toll and the entry charge are inside the figure or added on top. Routes, papers and timings for this crossing are in Moving Between Delhi and Gurgaon, and the far end is on our Dwarka page.
Is a hop to the next sector any cheaper?
Only a little, because the drive is a small part of the job. From OpenStreetMap's sector points, Sector 109 is about 1.1 km from Sector 106 in a straight line, Sector 103 about 1.75 km, Sectors 107 and 110 about 2.1 km, and Palam Vihar about 2.45 km. Our head office is in Sector 110, the sector next door on the east, so the crew starts close by. Even so, packing, lifts and carrying at two buildings take up nearly all the hours on a move this short.
What a short hop does allow is finishing in one day. When both homes are in the corridor, beds can be refitted and the kitchen opened the same evening. If the other home is in Sector 109, our Sector 109 cost guide covers its side.
How do you keep a Sector 106 quote low in its band?
By removing waiting time, which is what pushes a job upwards:
- To do: Tell us the project, tower and floor, not just "Sector 106"
- To do: Book one long lift slot, in writing, at both addresses
- To do: Find out where the truck may stand and how far that is from your lift
- To do: Send the guard desk's pass requirements a day early
- To do: For a 4 BHK or larger home, ask for a survey rather than a band
- To do: Sell or give away furniture that will not suit the new home before packing starts
- To do: Going to Delhi? Confirm the truck's emission class, the toll and the entry charge
The steps the crew follows at each end are on our household shifting page. If you are still settling on the sector, our Sector 106 newcomer's guide covers rents, schools and the PIN. With tower, floor and date settled, send us the old and new address to get a written figure.
Key takeaway
Within Gurgaon, our October 2026 bands for Sector 106 homes of one to three bedrooms span Rs 4,500 at the low end to Rs 15,000 at the top. In 34-floor towers such as Godrej Meridien and Godrej Prive, the lift slot and the loading point decide where you land in that band. Crossing into Delhi, only a kilometre off, switches you to the Delhi band and adds the Bijwasan toll, Delhi's entry charge and, after October 2026, its stricter engine rules for trucks.
This is general information. Every price above is an indicative October 2026 band set by our owner rather than a quote for your home, and the tower figures come from a property portal. Road works, tolls, Delhi's charges and truck rules can change before your moving day, so check them again close to the date.
