House shifting within or near Dwarka Sector 13 has no fixed price when both homes are in Delhi: Maxx Relocation sets it in writing after a survey. Only a home arriving from Gurgaon has a published band, which the owner set in October 2026 between Rs 7,000 (one bedroom) and Rs 16,500 (three bedrooms), and the hours spent inside that band depend on your block, where the truck can stand, and whether the truck may enter Delhi at all after 31 October.

Sector 13's pockets, plots, schools and landmarks are described where we introduce our packers and movers in Dwarka Sector 13. Here we stay with the money and the clock: what can be priced ahead, where a crew's day goes in each kind of home, how the truck reaches your gate, and which dated rules change next week.

Which routes have a published price, and which need a survey?

One route has a printed band. The rest are priced once someone has seen the home, because in a short Delhi move most of the bill is labour rather than distance.

Home size (owner's figures, October 2026) Arriving from Gurgaon (Rs) Moving to another Delhi address Leaving Sector 13 for Gurgaon
One bedroom 7,000–8,000 survey needed survey needed
Two bedrooms 10,000–13,500 survey needed survey needed
Three bedrooms 14,000–16,500 survey needed survey needed
Four bedrooms, or a very full home survey needed survey needed survey needed

Those Gurgaon bands also appear on our Delhi packers and movers page. Vehicles have their own October 2026 figures for trips of up to 50 km: a car is moved for Rs 9,000–11,500, a motorbike for Rs 3,000–7,000, booked through car transport.

What a survey adds is not a markup but certainty. Two flats with the same bedroom count can differ by hours of work, and the surveyor's job is to find those hours before the truck is booked rather than during the day.

Where does the crew's time go in each Sector 13 home?

The sector has only twelve complexes, which makes it easier to reason about than most. Dwarka Homes lists three DDA pockets and, on a separate page, nine cooperative society plots numbered 1B to 8. Neither list gives floor counts or says which buildings have lifts, so we ask.

Home What the records show Where the hours usually go What to tell us
Metro View, Pocket B (DDA) OpenStreetMap maps it as many small blocks, each labelled with eight flat numbers, from 1–8 through 185–192 Walking each load from the right block door to wherever the truck can stand Flat number, floor, and whether your block has a lift (check)
Netaji Subhash, Pocket 1 (DDA) MIG and expandable flats, phase 1 Packing: an expanded flat can hold an extra room's worth of goods Rooms as built today, not as allotted
Rosewood, Pocket A (DDA) Listed as a DDA pocket Carrying, if your stair is the only way down Floor and stair width at the turns
Society plots 1B to 8, from Gule Gulfam to Sarvottam Residency Cooperative societies with a managing committee Waiting, if the lift or gate slot is not fixed in advance The office's lift and gate booking, in writing

The Metro View row is where small details pay off. The station page on Wikipedia notes that the apartments have an exit of the Sector 13 metro station, so the obvious standing spot near the pocket is also where passengers and autos gather. Knowing your block in advance lets us pick an entrance and a standing point that work for both.

The society row has the opposite profile. Lifts and a committee office normally make carrying quicker, but the time saved can be lost to a queue at the lift or a guard waiting for permission. A booked slot written on the society's letterhead or message removes that risk.

How does the truck reach your gate?

Through a road layout that rewards planning. On OpenStreetMap data of 25 October 2026, the main roads mapped in or along Sector 13 are Road 201, Road 205, Azad Hind Fauj Marg and Mall Road, each drawn as a divided road with a separate carriageway for each direction. Road Number 203 and Iskcon Temple Road are smaller streets, and the pocket roads inside the DDA blocks are tagged private, with gates.

Three things follow for a moving day:

  • Approach on the right side. On a divided road, a truck that arrives on the far carriageway cannot simply turn in; it goes on to the next turning point and comes back. We fix the approach during the survey so the driver does not learn it on the day.
  • Private pocket roads. If the internal road is gated, someone must open it and agree how long the truck may stand. Ask the neighbours or the residents' association who holds that key, and tell us the answer.
  • The Sector 10 market window. Delhi's goods-vehicle notification of 2021, as amended in 2022, keeps every category of goods vehicle off the roads around Main Market Sector 10, Dwarka from 12:30 pm to 8 pm. It only matters if your route passes that market, but when it does, it can split a day in two.

Which dated truck rules change in the next few days?

Several, and they fall in the same week. This is where things stood when we checked on 26 October 2026:

Date What applies Source
Any day Driving a truck during Delhi's no-entry hours takes a No Entry Permission, online permits last a year or three months, and a written request to the traffic headquarters covers up to seven days Delhi Traffic Police FAQ
Since 21 October 2026 CAQM put GRAP Stage I in place for the whole NCR when the AQI climbed to 244 at 2 pm that day; at 8 am on 24 October the reading was 190, with Stage I still running (check the current stage) Business Today, 21 Oct; India TV, 24 Oct
31 October 2026 Last day of the relaxation, set by CAQM's amended order of 17 October 2025, that let some non-BS-VI goods vehicles from outside Delhi enter; no extension found by 26 October (check) WION Drive, 23 Oct
From 1 November 2026 Gurugram traffic police advise that BS-IV and older commercial goods vehicles will be stopped from entering Delhi, while CNG, electric and BS-VI diesel vehicles may enter Construction World, 23 Oct
1 Nov 2026 – 31 Jan 2027 Under the winter plan, no vehicle below BS-VI with a registration from outside Delhi may enter, CNG and electric excepted; the chief minister's announcement also said no valid PUC certificate, no fuel WION Drive, 23 Oct

For a move from Gurgaon, the practical question is simple: what is the truck's emission class and where is it registered? We confirm both when the booking is made, not on the morning.

The winter plan's wording also reaches private cars. WION Drive reads it as covering a BS-IV petrol or diesel car registered outside Delhi, so a family driving its own Haryana-registered BS-IV car to the new Sector 13 flat in November may be turned back. If that is your situation, move the car before 1 November or ask us about carrying it, and check whether the carrier itself qualifies.

What changes if the new home is close by?

Mostly the share of the day spent on the road, which is small to begin with.

  • Within Sector 13. A pocket-to-plot move is nearly all packing and carrying. Two gates, two lift bookings and two standing points still have to be arranged, so plan both ends as if they were far apart.
  • To Sector 12 or Sector 14. These are the next metro stops on either side. The drive is minutes; the survey visit is short too, because our Delhi branch sits one metro stop away, in Sector 12. Our Sector 14 costs guide covers that sector's blocks.
  • Elsewhere in Delhi. Longer drives bring the restricted-hours rules and the market windows into play, and the house shifting in Delhi guide explains the permit route.
  • Out to Gurgaon. For the documents and society rules waiting at the Gurgaon end, read our Delhi and Gurgaon moving guide.

What can you do to shorten the crew's day?

Nearly all of it is done in the days before the move:

  • To do: Get the lift and gate slot confirmed in writing at both ends
  • To do: In Metro View or another DDA pocket, ask who opens the internal road gate and for how long a truck may wait
  • To do: Clear the stair landings and the path from your door to the road the evening before
  • To do: Measure the largest sofa, bed or almirah against the lift door or the tightest stair turn
  • To do: Pack the books, crockery and seasonal clothes you will not need in the final week
  • To do: Ask your truck provider, or us, for the vehicle's emission class if the date falls after 31 October

Which details get you a written quote?

  • Both addresses in full: pocket or plot, block, flat number, and the phase where one applies
  • Which floor you live on in each home, and whether a lift can be reserved
  • The bedroom count, plus any extra rooms in an expandable flat
  • Anything heavy or delicate: a double-door fridge, a glass-topped table, a piano
  • Any car or bike to move, and your preferred date and time

Key takeaway

In Dwarka Sector 13, only a move arriving from Gurgaon has a published price band; every Delhi-to-Delhi move is surveyed. Tell us your block and floor, fix lift and gate slots in writing, plan the truck's approach on the divided roads, and confirm its emission class if your date falls on or after 1 November 2026.

This page is general information, not a quote. Rupee amounts are the owner's indicative October 2026 ranges; housing, road and rule details come from the dated sources listed. Pollution curbs in Delhi are revised quickly, so recheck them in your moving week.
