No Sector 61 society publishes its shifting rules online, so the hours, the lift and the gate pass for your move come from whoever runs your gate, and you should ask that office for them in writing. The public record does tell you who that office is: at Pioneer Park, a residents' welfare association that took over from the developer in March 2023; at Smartworld Orchard, the developer's team while the colony is finished; at Puri The Aravallis, nobody yet, because no one lives there.
Below are the dated records behind each of those answers, the places where nothing is published, and the questions to send before the truck is booked. If you are still choosing a mover, our page on packers and movers in Sector 61 Gurgaon covers first move-ins to new flats and storage while a fit-out runs late.
Which records exist for a Sector 61 move?
Three, plus one listing. We checked Pioneer Urban's site and approvals page, Smartworld's Orchard page, the RERA listing for The Aravallis and the top search results for this sector in October 2026. None carries a move-in or move-out procedure. What they do carry is the governance detail that tells you whom to ask.
| Record | Date | What it tells a mover | How to read it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Environment ministry compliance report, Pioneer's Sector 61 group housing | Sent 26 Mar 2025, site visit 14 Feb 2025 | The estate was handed to the Pioneer Park Residents Welfare Association by agreement of 26 Mar 2023 | The clearest public pointer to who runs a Sector 61 gate |
| The same report | OCs dated 21 Jun 2016 and 15 May 2017 | DTCP issued the occupation certificates in two stages | Long occupied, so move rules are likely to be settled |
| HARERA registration, Smartworld Orchard (corrigendum) | 1 Dec 2025 | Affordable plotted colony under DDJAY; 416 plots; registration in force to 29 Oct 2026 | Construction and sales still under way |
| RERA Tracker listing, Puri The Aravallis | Read Oct 2026 | Two towers, 324 flats, RERA completion 30 Jun 2029 | A building site, not an address yet |
The all-India articles that rank for this search, such as NoBrokerHood's guide to society shifting charges, are useful on fees and deposits in general. None of them names a Sector 61 society, so treat them as background, not as your society's rule.
Who runs the gate at Pioneer Park?
The residents do, through their RWA. The source is unusual: it is not a notice from the society but a certified compliance report from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change's regional office in Chandigarh, kept as a file on Pioneer Urban's website alongside the reports listed on its approvals page. Checking the developer against its 2008 environmental clearance, the ministry's officer recorded that:
- the project was constructed and commissioned on 25 April 2013;
- DTCP Haryana granted occupation certificates by memos of 21 June 2016 and 15 May 2017;
- Pioneer Urban had handed the property over to the Pioneer Park Residents Welfare Association under an agreement dated 26 March 2023, and showed the officer a copy of it;
- the association is registered with the District Registrar, Gurugram, under Haryana's Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012, since 23 February 2017.
That settles a point our Sector 62 rules guide had to leave open: Pioneer Park is not run from the Araya and Presidia office in Sector 62. Its move form, lift booking and gate instructions should come from the RWA's own office.
The same report says something about the estate's shape. In the developer's account it holds 13 towers, a block for economically weaker section (EWS) flats, a nursery and a primary school, and a commercial building, with parking for 3,292 cars. A colony that mixes high-rise flats, an EWS block and a school is likely to have more than one gate and more than one rule. Ask which gate a goods vehicle must use, whether it may stand in a basement or only on the surface, and whether the school's opening and closing times restrict trucks.
The report also records a fire no-objection certificate from the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, by a memo dated 28 October 2022. That does not change your moving day, but it is a reminder that fire lanes are not loading bays; ask the guards where the truck may wait.
What about Smartworld Orchard?
Orchard is a different kind of place, and that changes who signs your pass. The HARERA registration certificate for the project, in the version corrected on 1 December 2025 (we read it through an Internet Archive copy because HARERA's own site kept timing out when we tried it on 24 October 2026), describes it as follows:
- An affordable residential plotted colony under DDJAY, on 23.299 acres, with 416 residential plots and 4 commercial blocks. Homes are floors on plots, not flats in a tower block.
- Promoter: Suposhaa Realcon Private Limited, as collaborator with the licence holders. Smartworld's own Orchard page carries the same registration and, in October 2026, said "Possessions Started".
- Completion of the whole project declared by 30 October 2026, with registration in force until 29 October 2026. The certificate notes that some licences would lapse before that date and directs the promoter to renew them in time. Whether that has happened is a question for the site office, dated today.
- An association of allottees must be enabled by the promoter within three months of a majority of plots being booked, and every buyer must join.
So for a move in late 2026, expect to deal with the developer's facility or site team, not a residents' committee, unless the association has already taken over a role. Ask both. If you are moving in while other plots are still being built, ask too how material trucks and your moving truck will share the internal roads. The DDJAY policy sets 9 metres as the minimum width for a colony's internal roads, enough for a truck to come in but not for one to park and let others pass. How long a colonizer remains responsible for a licensed colony's roads and parks is explained in our Sector 81 rules guide, which deals with another DDJAY colony.
Is anyone in charge at Puri The Aravallis yet?
Only the builder, and only as a building site. RERA Tracker lists the first registered phase as two 42-floor towers with 324 three- and four-bedroom flats, and gives 30 June 2029 for completion. No one is moving in there in 2026. If your new home sits beside the site, the question is about your own gate: whether construction vehicles use it, and at which hours.
Where do the cartons go at Pioneer Park?
Into a sorted stream, by the developer's account to the ministry. The 2025 report records colour-coded bins in every apartment for sorting waste, an organic waste converter with a capacity of 500 kg a day for wet waste, and non-biodegradable waste handed to an agency approved by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. Flattened cartons and stretch film go in the dry stream. A whole household's packing will overflow a flat's bin, though, so ask the RWA office where a large dry load should be left on unpacking day and whether housekeeping collects it.
At Orchard, where each floor sits on its own plot, ask the site office the same question; the registration says nothing about waste collection.
What hours apply to the moving truck?
The society's and the city's, and only the second has ever been published.
The society's hours. We found none in print for Sector 61. Get the permitted hours in writing, and ask whether Sundays and holidays count, how long a lift slot lasts and whether a deposit is held against damage.
The city's hours. Gurgaon's traffic police close main roads to goods vehicles at peak times. Our Sector 61 costs and access guide quotes the latest traffic police note we found, with its date, and the works on Golf Course Extension Road. For a July or August date, check our Sector 61 monsoon guide first, because Golf Course Extension Road floods.
Which questions should you send, and to whom?
Put these to the office at each end of the move roughly a week before the date:
At Pioneer Park (the RWA office)
- To do: Is a move form or gate pass needed, and how many days ahead?
- To do: Which gate takes a goods vehicle, and can it enter the basement?
- To do: Do tower flats and town houses follow the same move rules?
- To do: Do the school's opening and closing times bar trucks at the gate?
- To do: Which lift carries goods, how long is a booking, and what deposit is held?
- To do: Must maintenance dues be cleared first, and will the guard want proof?
At Smartworld Orchard (the site or facility office)
- To do: Who approves moves today: the developer's team or the allottees' association?
- To do: Has my floor been handed over, with power and water connected?
- To do: Which internal road should the truck use while other plots are being built?
- To do: Where does packing waste go?
If you are a tenant
- To do: Will the office accept a pass request from me, or must the owner apply?
Save the office's replies, your ID and our packing list on your phone; the guard may ask for any of them.
What if the answers arrive late?
Then hold the truck back rather than load it. While a gate pass or the keys to an Orchard floor are still awaited, your goods can sit sealed in our warehouse and reach Sector 61 in one trip later. Forward the office's replies and both addresses through our contact page, and we will fit the day to whatever rules they set.
We read every source listed here on 24 October 2026. Treat this page as general information for planning rather than legal advice: registrations lapse, estates change hands and an RWA can rewrite its move rules, so recheck each point with the office that runs your gate.
