Moving to Sector 57 usually means moving into a builder floor: on Square Yards' locality page in October 2026, floors made up 78% of the homes listed for sale and 90% of the rentals, most of them in Sushant Lok 3 and the Sushant Lok 2 and Mayfield Garden blocks that share the sector. Your first-week needs are close by, with four schools giving Sector 57 addresses, two large hospitals in the sectors on either side and the Rapid Metro's last station, Sector 55–56, a short auto ride away.

What homes are available in Sector 57?
Mostly independent floors on private plots, with a handful of gated societies. Square Yards describes the sector as a residential pocket between Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road, with plotted homes, builder floors and mid-rise apartments, and lists ready-to-move projects that include BPTP Freedom Park Life, Suncity Sukriti CGHS, Ansal Royal Residency and the Sushant Lok 3 floors. The listing mix it published shows how lopsided that is:

The largest society on the Extension Road side is BPTP Freedom Park Life, which Square Yards shows on 13.88 acres, offering flats of two, three or five bedrooms plus penthouses. There is also an older Housing Board Colony inside the sector; The Tribune named it in an October 2023 report on an explosion in a debris heap there.
Before you sign for a floor, ask three questions: which floor the lease covers, whether the staircase is shared with another tenant, and who maintains the water pump and overhead tank.
Which colony name will be on your address?
Possibly not "Sector 57" at all. Several colony names overlap the sector, and schools and hospitals write their addresses differently:
- Sushant Lok 3 is the main colony. The school once called The HDFC School, now The Knowledge Habitat, lists itself in C Block of Sushant Lok III.
- Sushant Lok 2 reaches into the sector at G Block, where Scottish High International School sits.
- Mayfield Garden has blocks here too, and one school's address in E Block adds the village name Samaspur.
- The PIN code is 122011 on Square Yards' page, but the school above prints 122003. Copy the exact PIN from your rent agreement or sale deed when you change your bank and Aadhaar address.
Because Sushant Lok 2 and Sushant Lok 3 both have a G Block, write the phase, the block letter and the house number together on every delivery and courier form. Couriers and cab drivers will find you faster.
How will you get around: metro and main roads?
By road for most trips; the Rapid Metro serves Golf Course Road and Cyber City. Wikipedia's Rapid Metro article describes the southern extension from Sikanderpur as 6.6 km long, ending at Sector 55–56 and running mostly along Golf Course Road. Square Yards puts that station two to three kilometres from Sector 57's inner lanes, so an auto for the last leg is normal.
A longer line is planned but not built. According to Wikipedia's Gurugram Metro article, the plan to run the line on to Pachgaon, 35.5 km long with 28 stations, had its detailed project report finished in September 2025. The proposed stops begin with Sectors 61, 62 and 66 and Vatika Chowk; Sector 57 is not among them, so expect the auto ride to stay.
Two road stories are worth knowing before you plan the school run:
- The sector-dividing road. A road separates Sectors 50, 51 and 57. In July 2024 The Tribune reported that about two kilometres of its service road had been cleared of encroachments that had caused jams for years.
- Master road repairs. In November 2024 the same paper reported a GMDA repair package for master and service roads that included Sector 57.
Drive your office route once at peak hour before you settle on a school bus pick-up time.
Which schools have a Sector 57 address?
Four schools publish one, so a family can often keep the school run inside the sector:

The Knowledge Habitat lists separate phone lines for its junior and senior wings and, on its contact page, says admissions are open for 2026–27. Fees, boards and seats change every session, so confirm them with each school directly.
What to settle with the school before moving day:
- To do: A written confirmation of the seat and class, if you join mid-year
- To do: The transfer certificate from the previous school
- To do: Whether the bus stops at your block, since G Block alone holds two schools
- To do: Morning and afternoon gate times, so the moving truck avoids them
Where are the nearest hospitals?
Both of the large ones are in the neighbouring sectors. Marengo Asia Hospitals stands on Golf Course Extension Road, in the Sushant Lok II part of Sector 56, and its website lists a 24x7 emergency helpline along with a separate stroke helpline. Its specialities include cardiac sciences, neurosciences, oncology and organ transplants.
On the other side of the dividing road, Artemis Hospital is in Sector 51, and its contact page carries a separate emergency number. Square Yards also names smaller hospitals and clinics around the sector, such as W Pratiksha Hospital.
Tip
Save both emergency numbers in every family phone, together with your phase, block and house number. "G Block, Sushant Lok 3" and "G Block, Sushant Lok 2" are different places to an ambulance driver.
Where will you shop in the first week?
In the markets inside and around the sector. Square Yards says daily shopping centres on Kong Bazaar (which residents in its reviews call Hong Kong Bazaar), Good Earth City Centre and Baani Square, with groceries, cafes, salons and gyms within walking distance. Its project list also includes Ameya Sapphire 57 and M3M Paragon 57 as retail developments in the sector.
For the first night, pack one "open first" carton with bedding, a kettle, chargers, medicines, school uniforms and the next day's books, and carry it in your own car.
Which papers should a renter sort out in week one?
Three things matter most in Sector 57: the building's status, police verification and the meter readings.
- Check the building's use. On 30 September 2026 Grihik reported that the district town planner's enforcement wing had finished a survey of Sushant Lok 3 and flagged more than 30 buildings over alleged PGs, guest houses and commercial use, with show-cause notices and restoration orders issued. Ask your landlord in writing whether your building is among them.
- Police verification. Haryana Police lists tenant and PG verification as an online service with a fee of Rs 50; the owner or the tenant may apply. Do the same for a cook or driver before they start work.
- Ground floors and basements. In July 2024 The Tribune reported water entering ground floors and basements in both Sushant Lok 2 and 3 and in the three sectors from 55 to 57. What should you tell the movers before a Sector 57 move?
Plan around the staircase and the lane. Most Sector 57 homes are floors without a goods lift, so the crew carries furniture by hand and the truck stands in a residential street; tell the movers your floor number and whether wardrobes must be taken apart. A society flat such as Freedom Park Life needs a lift booking instead.
