Moving to Dwarka Sector 19 means picking one of four quite different places under one name: the DDA pockets of Phase I, the cooperative plots of 19A and Phase II, or the 14-storey Golf View towers of 19B, and your walk to the metro runs from about half a kilometre to two depending on which you choose. All of it shares PIN 110075 and the CGHS centre in Sector 23, two-bedroom flats were listed at a typical Rs 11,000 to Rs 42,500 a month on NoBroker in October 2026, and from 1 November 2026 a moving truck registered in Gurgaon gets into Delhi only when it meets BS-VI or uses CNG or electric power.
This guide covers life after the move: the address, the clinic, the commute, school, shopping and the lease. For the pockets themselves, the villas and the society paperwork, read our service page on packers and movers in Dwarka Sector 19. Every source was read on 31 October 2026, a day before publication. Distances are straight lines on OpenStreetMap data dated 30 October 2026, so the walk itself will be longer.
Which part of Sector 19 suits your household?
Start with the commute, because the sector is about two kilometres across and no single station serves all of it. We measured from four points on the map:
| Where you live | Nearest stations, straight line | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| East side, near the police colony and District Park | Dwarka Sector 10 at 0.49 km; Sector 9 at 1.12 km | The shortest walk to the Blue Line in the sector |
| The middle, by the DDA park | Dwarka Sector 10 at 1.04 km; Sector 11 at 1.19 km | A walk or a short rickshaw ride |
| Phase II societies, around Sea Show and Krishna Garden | Dwarka Sector 10 at 1.50 km; Sector 11 at 1.60 km | Most people will ride to the station |
| Golf View Condos, 19B | Sector 10 at 2.04 km; Sector 11 at 2.05 km; Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 at 2.11 km | Two lines within reach, but none close; plan on a cab or a car |
Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 is on the Airport Express, which matters if someone in the family flies often. Dwarka Sector 21, where the Blue Line ends, is 2.6 to 2.9 km from every one of the four points.
The housing differs as much as the walk. On OpenStreetMap, eleven apartment buildings inside the Golf View Condos outline carry a tag of 14 storeys each, and no other home in the sector has a height on the map. In practice that means a Golf View flat depends on its lifts every day, while a pocket flat in Phase I is often a walk-up. Visit at office hours, ride the lift or climb the stairs, and time the trip to the station before you sign.
Which PIN and address line should you use?
Write 110075. The South West district directory gives St. Mary School as "Sector - 19, Dwarka, New Delhi 110075" and O.P.G. World School as "Sec.-19 B, Dwarka, New Delhi-75", so the main sector and 19B share one number.
That is why the rest of the line matters. Put 19, 19A or 19B, then the pocket or plot, the block and the flat, in the same order on every account: bank, Aadhaar, gas connection, school and the lease. A delivery rider who sees only "Sector 19, 110075" may head for the wrong end of a large sector.
Where will you see a doctor?
The Sector 23 wellness centre. A CGHS North Zone notification dated 12 February 2019 gave the new D-100 centre in Sector 23 all of Dwarka's Sectors 15 to 26, plus nearby villages such as Pochanpur, Amberhai and Bharthal. Sectors 1 to 14 stayed with the Sector 9 centre. On the map the CGHS clinic sits on Sector 23 Road, about 1.54 km from Sector 19's centre. A family arriving from a lower-numbered sector therefore changes centres on moving in; ask D-100 what it needs to register the new address.
For everyday visits, a clinic mapped as "DGD Sec 19 Dwarka" is about 0.23 km from the centre. The hospitals are a short drive:
| Hospital (map label) | From the centre | From the eastern side |
|---|---|---|
| Indira Gandhi Hospital (Delhi government) | 1.38 km | about 0.8 km |
| Ayushman Hospital | 1.75 km | — |
| Medeor Hospital | 2.32 km | — |
| Manipal Hospitals | 2.41 km | — |
Ask your insurer which of these admits patients cashless, and save the route to the nearest one during the first week.
Which schools are close, and what do they charge?
Four are listed under the sector on UniApply, all affiliated to CBSE:
| School | Classes | Monthly fee shown |
|---|---|---|
| Modern International School | Nursery to Class 12 | Rs 3,000–4,300 |
| St. Mary's School | Class 1 to Class 12 | Rs 5,100–5,300 |
| Orchids The International School | Nursery to Class 12 | Rs 6,700–9,600 |
| Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Sector 19 | Class 6 to Class 12 | Not shown |
The page is titled for 2026-27 fees but does not attach a session to each figure, and its own summary gives a narrower range than the table. Ask each school's office for its current fee sheet before you budget. O.P.G. World School in 19B, mapped as a four-storey building, is not on that list, so contact it directly.
If your child joins in the middle of a session, phone the admissions desk before the lease is signed: ask about a vacancy in the class, the transfer certificate and whether a school van stops near your gate.
How far are groceries, banks and the police station?
Mostly a short ride away rather than on the doorstep. From the sector's centre, the map shows Aap ka Bazar at 1.22 km, Kisan Mandi at 1.32 km, a Mother Dairy outlet at 1.46 km, Rajmandir at 1.54 km and the Sector 9 market at 1.58 km. The nearest bank branches are State Bank of India at 1.26 km and an ICICI Bank branch named for Sector 11 at 1.33 km.
Dwarka Police Station is mapped 1.53 km away, and the Dwarka bus depot about 2.1 km. Open space is closer: a DDA park lies right by the centre, and the District Park is about half a kilometre east. Water supply hours for the area are set out in our Sector 19 monsoon and summer guide; ask your society office or neighbours how your block stores water.
How much rent should you budget?
The Sector 19 overview on NoBroker is dated October 2026. When we read it on 31 October, the figures were:
| Flat | Typical rent, all homes | Society flats only | Maintenance in societies | Deposit in societies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One bedroom | Rs 8,200–28,600 | Rs 13,550–28,800 | Rs 200–1,000 | Rs 13,650–53,599 |
| Two bedrooms | Rs 11,000–42,500 | Rs 20,500–43,999 | Rs 400–3,000 | Rs 25,300–1,01,099 |
| Three bedrooms | Rs 32,050–92,750 | Rs 29,350–87,750 | Rs 500–6,000 | Rs 58,100–1,74,000 |
The one-bedroom and three-bedroom pages have the same layout. Use the figures with care: many cards on all three pages are for homes in Sectors 9 to 12, Sector 23 or Pochanpur, and the low ends include village houses. The society column is the better guide for a flat in a pocket, a cooperative or Golf View.
Before you pay a deposit, get the amount, the refund date and the allowed deductions written into the agreement, and find out whether you or the owner pays the monthly maintenance. Who runs the gate at each kind of address is covered in our Sector 19 rules guide.
Which Delhi truck rules apply when you move in?
Several, and the strictest one begins on 1 November 2026, the day this guide was published. As found on 31 October:
| Date | Rule | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Until 31 Oct 2026 | Outside-registered BS-IV goods vehicles could still enter during a one-year transition under CAQM's direction | The Tribune, 29 Oct 2025 |
| 1 Nov 2026 | That transition ends. No extension found in our searches on 31 Oct; transporters were threatening protests and court action | ETV Bharat, 28 Oct 2026; The Hans India, 29 Oct 2026 |
| 1 Nov 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 | Winter curb: non-BS-VI vehicles with registrations from other states kept out; CNG, electric and essential services exempt | Autocar India, 22 Oct 2026 |
| From 21 Oct 2026 | Pollution plan at Stage I in all NCR districts, invoked when Delhi's AQI reached 244; we found no Stage II order by 31 Oct (check on the day) | Akashvani, 21 Oct 2026 |
| All year | Driving a truck inside the restricted hours requires a No Entry Permission | FAQ of the Delhi Traffic Police, seen 31 Oct 2026 |
Reports disagree on who the winter curb covers. The CAQM direction reported by The Tribune concerns light, medium and heavy goods vehicles only. Autocar India does not say whether private cars are included. WION Drive on 23 October, and ETV Bharat and The Hans India later that week, describe it as covering private vehicles too. Until an order settles it, assume a Haryana-registered BS-IV car may be turned back, and ask the mover to put the truck's BS norm, its fuel and the state on its number plate in writing. Our Delhi house-shifting guide explains the permit and other papers.
For the move itself, the owner set indicative bands in October 2026 for homes coming from Gurgaon into Delhi, printed on the Delhi packers and movers page: a three-bedroom home falls within Rs 14,000–16,500, a two-bedroom one within Rs 10,000–13,500, and a one-bedroom flat within Rs 7,000–8,000. Bigger homes and moves within Delhi are priced after a survey. The Sector 19 area page shows the Dwarka branch as its nearest office; the address it gives is Shop No. 204 in Kartar Nagar, which lies in Dwarka's Sector 12 (110078).

- To do: If your car is a BS-IV with outside plates, check the winter rules before you drive it in.
Key takeaway
Dwarka Sector 19 is four places under one PIN, 110075. The east side is about 0.5 km from Sector 10 station; Golf View in 19B, with its 14-storey towers, is about 2 km from three stations. CGHS goes to the Sector 23 centre, society two-bedroom flats were listed at Rs 20,500 to Rs 43,999 in October 2026, and from 1 November 2026 a Haryana truck needs BS-VI, CNG or electric power to come in.
Once you have the keys, write to us with both addresses, each floor, whether there is a lift, and which part of Sector 19 is yours.
This is general information, checked on 31 October 2026 against the dated sources above. Rent levels, school fees, the CGHS area list and Delhi's vehicle orders may all change quickly, so confirm anything important with the landlord, the school, CGHS or the department concerned.
