Moving to DLF Phase 3 usually means one of three homes: a rented room, PG bed or 1 RK in a rebuilt plotted building, a DLF floor on one of the lettered blocks, or a flat in one of the few small condominiums of Sector 24. Whichever it is, your first week will turn on the Rapid Metro stations at Phase 3 and Moulsari Avenue, one school campus on Moulsari Avenue, the clinics along Nathupur Road and Sikanderpur market, and a short list of checks that renters here need after the 2026 sealing drives.

Which homes do newcomers rent or buy in DLF Phase 3?
Mostly small rented units, with a thin layer of large family flats. NoBroker's sub-localities for the phase include S Block, U Block, Nathupur, Garden Estate, Balveer Market and Cyber City, and the homes on offer change sharply from one to the next.

Two of these figures are worth reading closely. The NoBroker 1 RK page put deposits at roughly Rs 8,450 to Rs 40,000 when we looked in October 2026, so the money you hand over on day one can exceed the first month's rent. And Square Yards' Belvedere Park page estimated a rent of about Rs 90,000 a month there, which shows how wide the spread is inside one sector. Both are listing snapshots, not market rates.
Square Yards' project list for the phase also carries dozens of small named buildings, such as Om Tower and Sachdeva Tower. Some are single buildings rather than gated societies, so ask whether there is a management office at all before you plan around one.
Which PIN code should go on your address?
Usually 122010, but check the lease. India Post's directory, read through the postal PIN code API, lists a delivery sub post office called "DLF Ph-III" under that code, and NoBroker gives 122010 for Sector 24 too.
The second number you will see is 122002. The same directory assigns it to a different office, "DLF QE", and The Shri Ram School prints it on its Moulsari Avenue address. So both codes are in daily use for buildings in or near the phase.
Write the address in this order: block letter and plot number, floor (and room number, in a PG), "DLF Phase 3, Sector 24", Gurugram and the PIN from your agreement. Use that exact line for your bank, Aadhaar, gas booking and every delivery app. If parcels keep failing, the PIN is the first thing to compare.
How do you get to work: Rapid Metro, foot or road?
For most newcomers, on foot or by Rapid Metro, because Cyber City is next door. Wikipedia's Rapid Metro article names stations at Phase 3 and Moulsari Avenue, and gives these working facts:
- Hours. Service starts at 06:05 and ends at 22:00, with a three-coach train every four minutes.
- Track layout. The stretch between Sikanderpur and the Phase 2 station has two tracks; the rest of the line through this area is a single-track loop, so trains go round it in one direction. The trip home can take a different number of stops from the trip out.
- Operator. Operations passed from the Delhi Metro network to the new Gurugram Metro in 2024.
- Yellow Line. Change at Sikanderpur for Delhi and HUDA City Centre.
Moulsari Avenue station opened on 14 November 2013. NoBroker's distance table puts the Phase 3 station 350 m away.
The 10 pm finish matters more here than in most places. Many tenants work in Cyber City or Udyog Vihar, and a late shift means the last part of the trip home is by cab or auto. Try the walk to your station at night in the first week. By road, NoBroker names NH-48 as the main link; its residents list peak-hour traffic among the things they would like improved, so school and office runs need a buffer.
Which school has an address in the phase?
The Shri Ram School's Moulsari campus, at V-37, Moulsari Avenue, DLF City Phase 3, according to the school's contact page. It is a senior campus: Wikipedia lists it for classes 6 to 12, and notes that the IB diploma and the National Institute of Open Schooling certificate are offered at that senior school.
For younger children in the same school, the options are the Aravali campus in DLF Phase 4, which runs from nursery to Class 12 (see our DLF Phase 4 newcomer guide for it), or the junior school in Vasant Vihar, Delhi, which takes nursery to Class 5.
Portal pages list other schools "near" the phase, some of them several sectors away. Before you count on one:
- To do: Check the address on the school's own website or CBSE/ICSE disclosure
- To do: Ask where the bus stops for your block, and at what time
- To do: Get the transfer certificate in hand before you leave the old city
- To do: Avoid booking the truck for the school's start or finish time
Where are the nearest hospitals and clinics?
Close by for everyday care, a short drive for anything major. The district administration's hospital list includes three entries with addresses in or beside the phase: Neel Kanth Hospital at 1, Nathupur Road, DLF Phase-III; Shri Ram Hospital in Sikandarpur Market, DLF City; and a family clinic in U Block. For specialist care, the same list places Artemis Hospital in Sector 51. The list is undated, so call ahead to confirm a clinic is still at that address and open when you need it.
Tip
On the first night, save the clinic's number and your full address, with block, plot, floor and PIN, in every phone in the house. A driver coming to a numbered plot in a lane of similar buildings needs the plot number, not just "Phase 3".
Where do you shop and eat?
Within walking distance for most things. NoBroker lists Balveer Market and Sikanderpur among the phase's sub-localities. Cyber Hub's restaurants are a short walk from the Belvedere Park side, and NoBroker names Ambience Mall and Mega Mall among the bigger shopping trips. A Square Yards listing mentions DLF City Club 3, with a pool, gym and tennis; ask the club about membership terms before you budget for it.
For the first two nights, carry a box that never goes on the truck: bedding, chargers, medicines, a kettle and a towel each. In a PG, add a padlock for your room and a printed copy of the rental agreement.
What should a renter check before signing?
More than usual, because 2026 changed what is safe to rent here. After the town planners' action in June, PTI reported on 3 July 2026 that the drive had resumed in S Block, that another illegal PG had been sealed, and that occupants of illegal PGs had earlier been given about ten days to vacate. Officials said action would continue against rooms built in stilt parking and other plan violations. Our DLF phases comparison covers the wider enforcement history.
Before you hand over a deposit:
- Notice status. Ask the owner to confirm in writing that the town planners have not issued a notice against the building. Check again before renewing, since drives stop and restart.
- No stilt rooms. A room built in the parking stilt is the first kind to be cleared. Walk past the stilt and see what is in it.
- Water in summer. NoBroker's residents list summer water supply among the phase's problems. Ask whether the building has a storage tank, who pays for a tanker, and how often it has been needed.
- Deposit terms. Write the refund amount, deductions and refund date into the agreement, and photograph the room on the day you move in.
- Tenant verification. Haryana Police lists tenant verification among its online services (we last confirmed the page on 4 October 2026). Owner or tenant can apply.
- Parking. If you bring a car or bike, agree the exact spot before move-in day.
What should you tell the movers?
The building, the floor and the lane. A room on the fourth floor of a plotted building, a flat with a lift in a society and a room in Nathupur each need a different vehicle and crew size.
